Hoseok jolts up from his deep sleep on his king-sized bed inside of his room.

Nothing seems peculiar around him and the only sound can be heard is his loud heavy breathing. He feel something trailing down his cheek and it is his own tears. He is crying and not to mention sweating like a pig. He does not know how he end up on his own bed when he was kneeling next to-

Next to Taehyung’s dead body.

He knows it can’t be a dream. It was too vivid, too real. Even the last words Taehyung said to him.

“Taehyung!”

Hoseok flinches at the sudden shout he heard outside of his room. It sounds like-

“It can’t be…”

Hoseok jumps off his bed and runs out from his room, down to the living room and sees the man in the real life form with his own eyes, after all this while.

“Yoongi hyung…”

“Hoseok-ah… You-“

“We’re not inside of someone’s mind … right? I mean- we-we are really-“

“Hoseok… Where’s Taehyung?”

“…I- …I don’t know.”

Yoongi leaves Hoseok alone in the living room as he continues to find Taehyung while Hoseok feels astonish, euphoric to have his own body, his own control – the one and only inside of him.

“Taehyung!”

Yoongi shouted, checking on the rooms before gasps as he found Jungkook inside of his room. He is trembling and crying as he is throwing his shirt out from his drawers, searching for something. Yoongi knows what Jungkook knows so he hugs the younger tightly, asking him to stop but Jungkook refuses.

“H-He gave something to me- Tae gave me something. I need to find it, hyung.”

Jungkook cries in Yoongi’s arms as he struggles to find whatever he is looking for. Yoongi understands the emotional breakdown Jungkook is having and why it is so important to look for the thing. Because it is Taehyung’s farewell gift.

Jungkook almost emptying his drawer to find the old bunny plushie Taehyung gave at the most back corner of the drawer. Jungkook picks it up with his trembling hand and looks at it carefully, ignoring the tears drowning him at the moment.

“Tae gave it to me … before he leave us. He-He wants us to be together till the end. Hyung, Tae…”

“I know.”

Yoongi said, pulling Jungkook into a tight embrace, burying the younger’s face onto his chest to hide his tears.

It takes them the whole morning to accept the truth.

Taehyung is gone.

When they have accepted the truth, they sit on the dining table – the exact same spot they had to put their own memo before Taehyung came, with the farewell gift in their hands. Nothing has been spoken out because they are truly lost at everything.

“What should we do now?”

Namjoon spoke out first, lifting his gaze to those lowering theirs.

“He told us to stay together like we did before he came. To live our own dream we didn’t get ‘cause of our condition”, Jimin said.

“How are we going to live like nothing happens when Taehyung’s gone?” Yoongi asked.

“We won’t act like nothing happens. We just hold onto it, our memories with Taehyung and helps us survive.”

Hoseok said as he rubs softly at the white petal of rose he got from Taehyung. Exactly the same way he gave when Taehyung died.

“We all have our own memories with Taehyung that we couldn’t forget. And I know everyone loves him as much as I do and knowing he’s gone- for God knows how many times-“

Hoseok cracked. He clears his throat, avoiding from breaking down in front of everyone when they are looking at him with full trust because they know what Hoseok has gone through. He knows the best.

“We had our last days and last conversation with him and that’s enough to hold onto till the rest of our lives. He wants us to live normally, the chance we didn’t get and move on.”

Move on.

Two words that is very hard to do.

Frankly speaking, there is no one among them that ever moved on from Taehyung’s death in their past life and everything they did was blaming themselves and-

Hurting themselves with guilty and past memories.

“What about him?”

Jungkook asked, for the first time after he cried. Everyone moves their gaze into the room next to the kitchen, looking at Seokjin in his unconscious state.

“What should we do when he wake up?”

Jungkook asked again but no one dares to answer because if someone might, the decision will be made out of anger. They know the biggest blame should be on Seokjin and they have the right to get rid of him but-

“But Taehyung told us to stay together and move on. All of us … including him. It was Tae’s request.”

Namjoon said and others nod, a little late than never.

Namjoon is managing the company and succeeding very well. He is now in the top 10 list of influential young people in South Korea and the kindest, opening more than 3 orphanages under the name of Taehyung. Has a lot of scandal roaming around him for being such global but he never declare any relationship officially (or non-official) because he is simply happy, holding onto the phone Taehyung gave him before.

Meanwhile, Yoongi is able to write a happy song after two years of sad songs and depressions. He had a bad time after what had happened 5 years ago and his depression struck back until he realised Taehyung will not be happy to see him like this. Jimin’s popularity still maintain at its peak with his good looking and great ability of painting. Selling his drawing in the high-class event and giving a free teaching at school, mostly the Taehyung’s orphanage because the kids reminds him of Taehyung, who will smiling so bright whenever he saw kids around him. Most of the nights, he will read the journal covered with Van Gogh art Taehyung gave it to him – a journal of Taehyung’s perspective and every confession of him during their moment together.

On the other hand, Jungkook is finally focusing on his studies and manage to graduate from high school. He is still taking a job as a model but he does not spend his night at the club with the girls instead with his friends he met in college. A grumpy rude kid he was before changing back into a happy friendly kid who cannot help but to feel excited to go back home and jumps into his bed to hug the bunny Taehyung gave it to him. He was be able to move on, thanks to his hyungs.

Hoseok is absolutely fine. Making his name as a racer and sweeping most of the winnings with bright laugh on his face before bringing back the trophy to put on the shelf and waters the white rose standing in the glass on his table in his room. Hoseok has been spending most of his days having fun with his friends and doing whatever he likes so he can waltz into his room and looking at the rose all night as if he is talking to Taehyung. He is purely happy, no medicine needed this time.
