A man with multiple personalities is considered mentally unhealthy but different personalities and appearances in one man are impossible. If they said to him a week ago about it, Taehyung would not believe it although he is as naïve as the kitten on the street.

Everything started a week ago, when he was standing in the rain, completely soaked but he did not bother by it a bit as his mind was full with worried on the stray kitten in his embrace. He was afraid the kitten would feel cold by his touch when he was actually trying to protect it from being abused by the heavy rain.

He looked at his surrounding but saw nothing in the dark night, where the luminous light of full moon did not help much. He needed to get them both out from the rain and started to leave the place where he stood. A few sounds that were mysterious did bother him as he was too afraid of not being able to see 500m ahead of him in the dark but Kim Taehyung tried to act brave.

As he walked pass through the dark alley, a sudden noise attacked him and caused him to freeze. He turned to see but he could not again. The sound never stops and keep increasing his adrenaline and curiousity. Taehyung, of course, walked into the alley to find out the noise.

“Hello?”

He asked but received nothing. At the end, the sound stopped but his vision became clear a bit, where he saw a figure – a man standing and panting. At that moment, Taehyung did not see the other few men on the floor, beaten up till they lost their consciousness.

“Sir, are you alright?”

His question was never answered and the only sound they can heard was the sound of rain dropped and the mysterious man’s panting. Taehyung approached again and now he saw the man’s face clearly. The man looked up to Taehyung and glared, but he did not say anything. He approached Taehyung with timid steps and it freaked Taehyung out but he could not move. He hugged the kitten tight, asking for the protection he gave earlier to it.

“You…”

The man called out to him, his hand reached out to touch his cheek. The proximity of the former man caused his breath greeted Taehyung’s skin. Later, he passed out on Taehyung’s shoulder, leaving his whole body weight on the poor man with nothing but confusion and fear (and lonely because the kitten ran away when the embrace loosen.)

Taehyung brought the man home and put some medicine on his injured knuckles and bruises body while waiting for the man to wake up, that did not take a little too while. The man groaned in his bed, tossing around before he was back to his sense.

“You… Why?”

“You passed out.”

“Why bother to help?”

The man’s gaze is too fierce that it scared him. Taehyung looked down, could not answer his question. The man sighed.

“Thanks.”

Taehyung raised up his chin and grinned, happy to hear that.

“I’m Taehyung.”

He reached his hand out, asking for a handshake. However, he was oblivious to the man’s stare that was full of amazed on that one particular rectangular smile. The man found his smile contagious before he started to smile as well – as sincere as Taehyung’s.

“I’m Suga.”
