Amber’s POV

Since that day, Krystal and I have spent a lot of time together.

With all of our friend of course. Are you expecting me to be with her alone?

No way man. I’ll be roasted by Ellin for sure.

Being together with her sure reveal another side of her.

She is one shy girl when she is around with someone she doesn’t feel comfortable,

but when she started to warm up with people, you will wish her to be quiet…Hahaha…

Totally talkative and much more different than the cold vibe she’s been given to strangers,

especially those who try to court her.

But one thing that I really can’t control about her is when she is in her bossy mode.

Totally demanding and unreasonable sometimes.

Since I’m her only friend that live nearby, usually, no, it’s not just usually,

it’s always be me, Amber J. Liu that become her victim.

Yeap, the victim of demanding Krystal.

Flashback

*ring ring ring ring* Ugh…’who is it that call me this late?’

I groaned as I look into my watch beside my bed, it’s 3 AM for god sake…

I didn’t look at the caller name and just answered it,

“What the he--”

I’ve never have the chance to curse at this ‘mysterious caller’ since she cut my word with her scream

“Amber!!!you’ve gotta help me!!”

I rubbed my eyes and look at the caller, it’s Krystal.

"hey Krys, what’s wrong?something bothering you?”

I sat down at the corner of my bed

“come to my house right now amber! Right. NOW”

she shouted and emphasize on the word NOW.

“Okay, Okay, don’t get panic I’ll be right there”

I get ready and ride my bike to her house.

As soon as I get there, I can see that her house’s light is fully on,

I ring the bell and I can hear foot stomping running to the door,

“Hey what’s up--”

once again she cut my word by hugging me tightly.

Her scent. I really love the smell of her scent, it’s so soothing and relaxing…

err.. what am I thinking? ‘stop being a , Am’ my mind remind me.

“hush now Krys, what’s wrong?”

“please, help me to kill it”

I furrow my eyebrows, a lil bit confuse with her statement

“Kill what?” I question her.

“Just kill it Am”

she handed me a baseball bat. Am I hearing it wrong?No…she said the word ‘KILL’ twice…

did she kill somebody?maybe it’s her fiancée? Okay this is getting creepier than I thought,

“Why should I kill--”

“Because it’s bothering me Am!”

she shouted and cut my words, again. I sighed.

“Where is it?” I ask her 

“In my room”

I take a deep breath and slowly walking to her bedroom,

“take care Am”

I look at her intensely. ‘this girl is really creeping me out’

I open the door and carefully walking inside her bedroom.

I must say, she have a fine taste in decorating her bedroom.

She had a lot of aesthetic paint hang on her wall

and I notice few photo frames in her desk, picture of her with her family,

friends and another picture that only have two person in it, a guy and her.

‘It must be her fiancée’ I thought to myself.

I search around and I don’t see anything suspicious in her bedroom,

so I just shout at her

“Hey Krys, I don’t see anything that need to be ‘purged’ in here”

She peek from the outside,

“it’s below the chair near my desk”

okay, this is fishy, I look for it and I really, really, REALLY don’t know what to say

“Like seriously Krys?! You wake me up at 3 AM to kill a freakin’ cockroaches?!”

I can’t believe this girl, I really can’t believe…kill me god

“Please Am, just kill it for me” she begged.

I sighed heavily and kill the cockroaches. Poor you cockroaches, smashed by a baseball bat.

“It’s already roasted your majesty, now you can sleep well”

I said to her, partly mocking at her actually.
