Krystal’s POV

It’s been 4 weeks since I’ve seen her.  I heard that she’s currently in state to visit her sister, but she didn’t even bother to call me or text me about her whereabouts. Considering how close we are, it is totally weird and awkward when I just know about her going to state from Tia. It’s not that I want her to tell me everything or what, but deep down I know, a part of me really missing her since I haven’t heard anything about her after the last time we meet.  Speaking of last time, the conversation between Nicole and me resurface from my memory

Flashback

“Hey Soojung… how’s your head? Here drink this” I nodded weakly and take the hangover medicine. Ughh… this medicine is no joke! I even wonder why it is called medicine

“I’m fine.. a bit dizzy but I can take it. What time did you went home yesterday?”

“Well.. I arrive shortly after you arrived. I thought you’re staying at his place”

“Nope… I’m not... in the mood” He does want me to stay with him, but somehow I decline to stay with him.. Because.. I was a bit disturbed with what happen last night. I know Nicole can be bold sometimes, but seeing her flirting with Amber is like…. Being stabbed with knife multiple times. I know how bad I tolerate with alcohol, but I just grab the beer in front of me without thinking. Reckless isn’t it?

“Well.. I guess you have some telepathy with Amber then”

“Huh? What do you mean?” I grab a glass of water to neutralize the trace of medicine in my mouth

“Well, yesterday, I almost bring her inside... you know… to get laid” I burst out a bit when I heard the word ‘laid’

“What?! What are you thinking?!”

“Hey chill!! She didn’t even enter the house since she thought you’re inside. Which prove that her instinct is true… Because I really thought you’re staying at his place”

“Oh… So… you didn’t do anything with her?”

“Nope… except the fact that we kiss when we arrive here…” She just chuckle while my eyes widened hearing about it

“Yo-you’re kissing? Who kiss who?? Did you kiss her or she kiss you??” I can feel beads of sweat form on my forehead as I twirl my hair nervously

“Well.. it’s me who kiss her since she’s a bit shocked when I say I want to kiss her..”

“and then what?” I look at her… A part of me feel relieve because it’s not Amber who start the kiss

“Well like I said, I want to get laid but she didn’t want to, so it stop there”

“Oh…” a small smile form on my face as I ate the breakfast in front of me

“But one thing for sure… She sure doesn’t think much of Kai though”

 “Really? What did she say?” I look up and focus on her

“Well she think that Kai is a jerk based on how he treat you… and she’s also a bit mad when I tell her about the fact that Kai cheated on you before” my eyes widened again. I never thought she’s so concern about me. I crack a small smile as I think of how concern she is to me

“Why would she said that?” I mutter slowly with smile still forged in my mouth

“Well, maybe she’s jealous…”

“Wha-What?!” I screeched a bit with Nic’s statement, but I can’t deny, I feel a bit happy with it… What if she is indeed jealous? But why would she be jealous? Maybe she’s in love with…. Arghh!! Why am I thinking like this?! I shook my head few time before I cup my own cheek

“But don’t worry Soojung.. I mean, I already told her why you were marrying him”

“Huh? What did you tell her?” I eyed her nervously

“Because you love him… and you know, because… because with Kai, you’ll have security…”

“Wha-What?! Bu-but that’s not why I’m marrying him” I unintentionally raise my tone.

“Then why are you?? You know how he act before and sorry to say, but he’s still a jerk like before... He even cheat on you before Soojung… I really thought it was over between you and him before, but here you are, future Mrs. Kim in six weeks. Now tell me, why are you marrying him?” I was stunned for a while. I know he cheat on me before, I even want to cut off all tie with him, but what people don’t know is, the only reason why I stay is because I am actually fulfilling a promise. Yes, a promise that I made to Kai’s grandmother. I was meeting her in the hospital when she ask me to stay with Kai and make me promise to get married to him… And… a promise is a promise… I can’t back out from my word even though he cheated on me at that time. Besides, he’s been trying hard to become a good boyfriend after what happened. Ughh…  If I was ask about this two months ago, I would tell them confidently I’m getting married because I love him even though it’s not much as before he cheat on me. But now, something really bothering me. Or should I say someone? That certain someone…

“I… I don’t know Nic… I---” My door was opened and Sulli come in with happy face plastered on her face

“Hey everyone.. Good morning~” She greet us chirpily as she sit beside me.

“Hey~” We answer in unison

“Hmm.. what’s wrong? You girls seems to be in some deep conversation. Did anything happen?”

“Nothing… Just knocking some senses to Soojung here”

“Huh? What’s the matter?”

“Nothing… it’s not a big deal.. So, why aren’t you come home last night?” I try to change the topic as I don’t have the answer for Nicole’s question

“Well.. I’m staying at Minho place last night” She admit shyly. We start to interrogate her as we want to know more about her and Minho. She excitedly tell us how gentleman Minho is and she also told us that Minho’s late girlfriend really look like her. I guess that is why Amber pick Minho among her friend. I tried my best to concentrate with her story about Minho, but I can’t deny that one fact, I’m still bothered with Nicole’s question before…

End of flashback

And here I am, sitting quietly at the airport after I sent Nicole and Sulli. I should be going home now since it’s been an hour I sit here aimlessly, but what Nicole and Sulli told me is something that I didn’t expect
