The Photoshoot
Always You and ITheme song for this chapter is"All For Love" by Bryan Adams
(with Rod Stewart, Sting)
I'll be a man of good faith.
Then in love you live.
I'll make a stand. I won't break.
I'll be the rock you can build on,
Be there when you're old,
To have and to hold.
When there's love inside
I swear I'll always be strong.
Then there's a reason why.
I'll prove to you we belong.
I'll be the wall that protects you
From the wind and the rain,
From the hurt and the pain.
Yeah! Hey!
Let's make it all for one and all for love.
Let the one you hold be the one you want,
The one you need,
'Cause when it's all for one it's one for all.
When there's someone that should know
Then just let your feelings show
And make it all for one and all for love.
When it's love you make
I'll be the fire in your night.
Then it's love you take.
I will defend, I will fight.
I'll be there when you need me.
When honor's at stake,
This vow I will make:
Yeah!
That is all for one and all for love.
It's all for love.
Let the one you hold be the one you want,
The one you need,
'Cause when it's all for one it's one for all.
When there's someone that should know
Then just let your feelings show
And make it all for one and all for love.
Don't lay our love to rest
'cause we could stand up to the test.
We got everything and more than we had planned,
More than the rivers that run the land.
We've got it all in our hands.
Now it's all for one and all for love.
It's all for love.
Let the one you hold be the one you want,
The one you need,
'Cause when it's all for one it's one for all.
It's one for all.
When there's someone that should know
Then just let your feelings show.
When there's someone that you want,
When there's someone that you need
Let's make it all, all for one and all for love. ____________________________________________
The 1st part of their "Engaged Photoshoot" was done in Japan amidst the winter atmosphere they found the famous Kibune Shrine. It was chosen not only because of the charming red staircase that leads to the temple but because they wanted this shoot to be also relevant to the couples' actual life.
Legend has it that a goddess travelled in a yellow boat (kibune) from Osaka all the way to the north of Kyoto where the temple lies. Dara was then dressed in a traditional "furisode kimono" typically worn by young unmarried women with long arm flaps for their sheinjinsike (Japan's coming of age or sometimes referred to as engagement). Her "furisode" was predominantly red with designs of bamboo, pine trees and plum blossoms typically worn during the winter season. Her hair was a pulled up high chignon called "taka shimada" for young single women. Her shimada was accented with golden "bira bira and ogi kanzashi" which flutters and dangles with the wind and whenever she moves. Dara loved it!
"Omo omo I really look like a typical Japanese, oh this is so cool can I keep this kimono?" she smiled and the crew loved her enthusiasm and promised to give her the kimono as soon as they finished shooting.
It was her first time to wear an elegant kimono and act like a goddess. The first shots were her alone in a yellow boat at the foot of the temple while she was standing up, sitting, holding a yellow Japanese umbrella, showing the different angles of an elegant goddess and her yellow boat.
"Did I do well?" she was asking the photographer after the first shots were made, "can I see it? Will my fiance like it?" she placed her hands in front of trying to cover her excitement and fear at the same time. GD who was standing behind her was trying to hold his laughter. He just loves looking at her when she is this panicky and enthusiastic, she looks so cute!!! He approached her from behind and hugged her, "Let's look at it together okey?" as they both looked at the stills of the pictures taken. And as expected Dara looked amazing - her kimono and her hair ts highlighted her pearly white skin. And in some of the pictures she blushed that made the overall picture look perfect and natural. GD felt proud of her.
"I like this, this, this and this..."GD started choosing which ones he would like to be used for their print ads. Dara giggled and kept looking at GD as he chose the pictures. "Did I really do well baby?" she whispered to him, he replied by kissing her cheeks , "You are always pretty in any angle honey and I know you did well." Dara smiled and took a deep breath releasing the tension that she initially felt while looking at her pictures.
Then it was time for GD to have his photoshoot. He was asked to wear the traditional kimono in black and with an inner silk fabric in red to match Daras' kimono. He looked elegant in a kimono looking more like a warrior prince and since his costume was a lot simplier than Dara it didn't take long to finish his shoot. Dara loved the way he looked in the pictures and was pointing at all of it when asked which ones
