Authors' POV

"Omma I'm home!!!" GD calls out from the door of their family residence. He was with Kiko at the time.

"I'm in the kitchen come ..." she was busy preparing food.

"Jiyong !!! welcome home!" his sister Dami was in the living room when they arrived and immediately hugged GD when he came in. She nodded politely to Kiko when she saw her. Dami till date has not been comfortable with Kiko as she is with Dara whom she treats like her own sister.

"Omma Jiyong has a visitor with him you might want to come out..." Dami told her mom. His mom came out and greeted Kiko too. Even his mom feels a bit awkward with Kiko, both Dami and his mom finds Dara more suitable for GD but would not comment otherwise. They support him in whatever decisions he makes.

"Please take as sit." she told Kiko who gratefully bowed to her. "Jiyong make her stay for dinner let me finish the meal I am preparing so that she can join us."

"Thank you", Kiko said. His mom smiled but quickly excused herself to continue preparing their meals. Meanwhile Dami who was in the living room watching TV also excused herself and joined her mother in the kitchen. Both ladies feeling awkward in KIkos' presence.

"Are we not imposing too much Ji. I'm embarrassed " Kiko whispered to GD.

"Don't worry my mom is used to feeding me and my friends all the time..."

During dinner time...

"Ji how's your work coming? Are there new concerts lined up for you and Big Bang?" his mom asked.

"None at the moment mom but we are preparing to launch an album very soon." GD explained.

"Ohh that's so nice can you invite the boys to come over one of these days. I miss them and Dara." his mom openly discussed not knowing how Kiko suddenly stopped eating when she mentioned Dara's name. 

"Sure omma but Dara is busy right now so she might not be able to join but the boys will definitely come they miss you too and the home cooking."

"Ahh I heard that Dara is working alone right now and she needs to be taken cared of she's too thin." again his mother commented.

"I will try to tell her to come." GD shyly said and shrugged his shoulder when Kiko tried to look at him and signalled her disappointment.

"Oh she can come anytime she's like family already. Don't worry mom I will call her and invite her over. Besides there are several designs from the shop that I want her to try out and wear in her upcoming drama." Dami said.

"Really? Dara will be acting?" his mom, now talking to Dami while GD and Kiko quietly ate.

"Yes what's the title Jiyong? Dr something and it's already in the news. I am excited to see her act." Dami said.

"Dr Ian is the title of the drama, its the first collaboration of YG and a Chinese firm. Dara actually is quite apprehensive because as she said this is very challenging for her." GD explained. 

"And you know this because..." Kiko asked while raising her eyebrows.

"Oh Kiko don't get jealous GD and Dara are like twins they've been friends since training days so I am sure they talk about these things, right GD?" Dami responded.GD nodded to the disappointment of his girlfriend.

"Yes and Dara is such a sweet girl she comes over here even if Jiyong is not around. If she learns that my children are away she would volunteer to come and stay with me, so she is really like family to us." their mother replied.

"Ahh omma Kiko also is an actress and a model, in fact she has acted in movies before." Jiyong who wanted to appease his girlfriend mentioned.

"Really when was it shown here why did you not tell us Jiyong?"

"Ahh most of her movies are Japanese but internationally released."

"Ohhh Japanese...that's why we don't know." his mom replied as she bowed down and looked at her food.

Dami's phone suddenly rang and she excused herself from the table but because the living room is within the hearing range of the dining table they can still hear the conversation.

"Hi Dara! We were just talking about you. Omma wants you to visit one of this days - she misses you."

"Ahh you're busy shooting, really? Don't worry I will tell her. So what  made you call? Ahh okey I will ask Ji where he placed it. You left it in his room? Okey I will ask him. Do you need it for your shooting? Ah okey don't worry I might even look for it for you." Jiyongs' mother overheard that Dami was talking to Dara and said...

"Tell Dara that her ramyun box arrived last week. She can come for it anytime."

"Omma said you have your box of ramyun here already. I told you she misses you even appa bought your favorite ramyun for you so come over anytime you are available. Come to the shop also for clothes you can use for your drama, would you like me to ask Jiyong to pick the styles for you? Ahh okey no worries I will wait for you since you don't want to bother Jiyong. Dara fighting!!! Good luck on your new webdrama. Yes I will say hello to my mom for you ...Bye!!"

"You choose Daras' clother for her?" Kiko whispered to Jiyong while grinding her teeth.

"Yes I used to. Even her accessories are sometimes from my closet. We...its diff'rent with Dara you have to understand." whispered back.

"Understand what...we need to talk alone after this." Kiko who was very irritated said.

Dami returned to her seat in the dining table. She noticed that the couple are no longer talking and are nibbling on their food.

"Oh so sorry did I distrub your meal, I haven't heard from Dara for quite some time so..." she stopped when GD looked at her and motioned her to stop.

"Ah so Kiko would you like to visit my shop one of these days just to look at the latest collection, who knows you might want some clothes off our rack." Dami offered.

"Oh I'd love to but I am currently under contract with one of the major European brand of clothing and my contract requires that my clothes only come from them, I'm sorry", Kiko said apologetically.

"I understand. But just in case you are welcome to come over." Dami replied. Kiko did not respond just nodded.

"Ah Kiko do you cook?" GDs mom suddenly asked.

"Ah omma I can cook Western and Japanese cuisine but not as much as I can I am most of the time travelling due to my work." Kiko replied.

"Okey I was just curious."

" Jiyong stay for desert I prepared your favorite, remember the one you always prepare for Dara...ooops," his mom stopped and bowed apologetically to GD and the girl.

"It's okey omma I don't think we can stay for the desert I have to take her back early because she is flying to France early in the morning." GD said.
