EUN NA’S POV   It was a normal day for me and the kids. They play while I watch over them. Jonghyun’s at work and I wait for him to come home.    Well…that’s what I thought.   ==================================================   I was inside the house and it didn’t occur to me that something bad already happened. It was my fault for not paying attention.    [FLASHBACK]   Sang Min was a good boy today. He didn’t cry or anything. I was baking cookies for everyone. Joo Eun said she wanted more of my cookies. I wanted to make her happy and so I started baking when she told me so.    Everything happened at 5:00 PM   DING DONG   As soon as I opened the door, bad news came to me.   My neighbor was standing outside my door and she’s telling me that Joo Eun got hit by a car while playing with some kids outside.    I didn’t want to believe it. I was in the state of denial but it wasn’t something to be not serious about. I followed her and saw my daughter lying on the ground losing blood.    My neighbor called the hospital and told me that the ambulance is on the way here. Why am I so irresponsible?    “Joo Eun? Baby, wake up.” I said praying hardly that she’d still be alive. I heard sirens not too far. I hope everything’s going to be okay.   “Can you look after Sang Min for me? I’ll call my friends to take your place later after we arrive at the hospital. Please.” I said to my neighbor. I was relieved she said yes.   “Please don’t let anything happen to him. I’ll be back as soon as I can.” I said to her. The ambulance arrived and they did what they had to do. Joo Eun was placed inside the ambulance and so I rode inside with the emergency nurses on duty.   They were doing medical related things to her and I can’t actually name them because I don’t know what they’re doing. The sound of the siren is making me more nervous. The speed of the ambulance is as fast as my heartbeat and the image of Joo Eun full of blood stains is making me guilty than ever.    [END OF FLASHBACK]   Joo Eun was admitted at the pediatric intensive care unit section of the hospital. She was still in critical condition and she needed to be monitored by the doctors so they advised me not to see her first.   I don’t know if Joo Eun was still unconscious until now. None of the doctors had reported anything to me since we arrived. I’m just here outside of the unit waiting.   I called Key and Soo Ri to take care of Sang Min for me at home. Of course they were devastated hearing about the accident. It was unexpected but I can’t stop but start blaming myself for what happened.   One thing I’m being nervous about now is telling Jonghyun about what happened. You know how much he loves Joo Eun and here I am, I ruined everything.    RING RING   “Eun Na! I’m glad you called! I’m on my way home.” He said happily on the phone. I didn’t want to ruin that but … I’m sorry Jonghyun. I’m so stupid. I started crying on the phone. I can’t help but do it.   “A…are you okay? Why are you crying?” He asked. And now for the worst part. I closed my eyes before saying anything. I breathed deeply and then.   “Joo Eun got hit by a car.” I said to him. He didn’t say a thing for 10 seconds.   “Jonghyun? It’s my fault. I’m … sorry.” I said sobbing.   “Please…say something.” I said.   “I’m on my way to the hospital. Where are you?” he asked.   “At the pediatric intensive care unit.”    “Where’s Sang Min?”    “He’s at home. Key and Soo Ri are taking care of him. Jonghyun…are you mad?” I asked. It was the probably the second thing I feared.   “I’ll see you there.”    I gulped and started crying again.
