EUN NA’S POV   I’ve been thinking a lot about Jonghyun and I for 2 weeks already because I haven’t told about our relationship to my parents.    Well … to be honest I’m planning to tell my parents today but I’m still finding the right time. Maybe … later tonight? During dinner? Yes. And I should probably invite Jonghyun to come so that it would be rather formal and respectful. I don’t know how my parents would react about this but … I hope they won’t be negative about it.   ***   DING DONG   He’s here. I ran towards the front door.   “Great. You’re here. Uhh…what’d you bring?” I asked him. I told him to bring some food for my parents so we’ll have plus points.   “Uhh … dessert. I brought cake!” he answered.   “Great. Come in.” I got the cake from him and brought it to the dining room.   “Umma … Jonghyun’s here. He … wants to … umm … visit us.” Jonghyun elbowed me. Did I say something wrong?   “Why … are you lying to them?” He whispered to me. My parents looked at us curiously.   “Oh … no . What I meant was … I invited him for umm … dinner?” I said nervously.   “Oh. Okay. Sit down you two.” It was awkward sitting right in front of my parents with Jonghyun. Are they mad?   “By the way, Jonghyun brought this. Cake! For dessert.” I said placing it on the table.   “Thank you Jonghyun.” Said umma.   “You’re welcome.” Said Jonghyun.   “Okay … let’s eat.” Said appa.   I began munching and munching but I haven’t said a word. When’s the best time?   Jonghyun kicked me.   I looked at him.   He smiled.   Oh so this is the part where I’m supposed to talk?   “E-e-ehem.” I cleared my throat making everyone look at me.   “Umma … I have something to tell you.” I said.   “What is it dear?” Umma asked.   “Umm … You see … Jonghyun and I are …” I gulped. I’m so nervous.   “Jonghyun and you are what?” asked umma.   “We’re … umm …” She cuts me off.   “Having again?” My eyes widened. What the umma!   “NO! Of course not! We’re … dating!” I said embarrassingly. I saw Jonghyun laughing beside me. What the is his problem? He thinks this is funny?!   “O…kay. Why do you sound so nervous?” asked appa.   “Be…because I thought you guys wouldn’t like it. I mean … he’s my ex-husband. If that’s what you call it.” I said to them.   “Why wouldn’t we like it? We think it’s … great. I mean … the kids will be happy. Right?” I nodded.   “When did you to start to umm … date?” Appa asked.   “Uhh … after the yacht trip.” Said Jonghyun.   “I knew it. That’s why you were acting so weird.” Said umma to me.   “I was keeping it from you umma. Pfft.” I said to her.   “You’re a bad actress then.” Umma said chuckling.   “You’re mean.” I said to her.   “Are you guys planning to re-marry?” appa asked.   “Oh … no no no. I don’t think it’s … the right thing to do now. I’m still … adjusting with this … whole marriage thing.” I said.   “We talk about it and I even asked her. She said the same thing.” Said Jonghyun.   “Oh … umm … anyway, if you guys are you know … planning to re-marry then … tell us immediately so we can settle this.” Said appa.   “Are you serious?” I asked.   “Yeah. But it’s still your choice Eun Na.”  Appa said to me.   ***   AFTER DINNER   “I’m going home now. Thanks for the delicious dinner.” Jonghyun said to my parents.   “Okay. Drive safely.” Said umma.   “Bye kids!” Jonghyun said hugging them both.   “Bye appa.”    I walked him outside and to his car.   “Well … bye then.” Said Jonghyun.    “Uhh…Bye.” I said doing nothing.    He looked at me weirdly.   “A…are you okay?” He asked. I nodded.   “Are you sure?” I nodded.   “O…okay. I’ll call you then.” I nodded.   He leaned in closer to kiss me goodbye and then he rode his car and started the vehicle.   He waved goodbye inside his car and then drove off.   ***   AFTER 1 MONTH   I got a text message from Soo Ri saying –   “Hey Eun Na! My birthday’s next week! You and Jonghyun better attend my party at the W-Grill Club!”   I better get a nice gift for her.   A two-layer cake might do. She loves sweets. It’s even better if I bake it myself!   I’ll call Jonghyun now.   RING RING   PHONE CONVERSATION   “Hey baby. Why’d you call?” I heard him yawn after answering the phone.   “Were you sleeping?” I asked.   “Y…yeah.”   “Oh sorry.”   “It’s okay.”   “Uhh…I called because Soo Ri texted me about her birthday celebra
