Jessica POV

“Silly” I sighed through the phone when she’s rejected my call again and again. Why? Just because she won’t drag me along to a fuss which she made before. Now, almost Korean people will hate her because her clumsiness last time

“What’s wrong, Unnie?” Krystal furrowed her eyebrows when saw me looking furiously at my phone

“She’s rejected my call again, Soojung-ah”

“Maybe she just want to be alone” said Krystal while chewing her bread. We had little breakfast before heading to work

“She’s not kind of person like that” I sighed again. Tiffany never like being alone at all “Instead, she would be afraid if she’s alone”

“Maybe, it will be different case?”

“Maybe. I’ll call Taeyeon later”

Through the storm and through the clouds

Before heading into my workplace, I took my book at the room when my eyes catch something on my desk. That’s small unicorn plushy from Tiffany, which she gave to me after my departure two years ago. She hung the small card at the neck of the doll, which is written by herself. She said, everything will be alright.

“She probably will take one month of rest, Sica” said Taeyeon on the phone “I know maybe we want to meet her but she decided to fly into California tonight”

“Really…” I sighed again

“She’s not running away from you, Sica” Taeyeon slowly smiled

“Then, what she did this time?”

“You know, for relaxing her mind?”

“I don’t get it”

“Anyway…” Taeyeon hung her words

“What?”

“Do you have any schedule for tomorrow?”

“Wait” I checked my agenda before back into Taeyeon “I think I’m free for about three days”

“How about we fly into California too, in the early morning?”

“Are you out of mind?!” I yelled at her but she’s laughing

“No, Sica. I’m serious, we could chase after her on the next day. How?”

“Do you have no schedule?”

“CEO Kim decided to make all of us take a rest”

“Okay…”

“I’ll book the ticket”

“Taengoo…”

“Hmm?”

“Are you sure?”

“Why not?” she’s chuckled in between “She always make sure that we will be alright, why not on this time we do this way to her?”

“I see”

“I’ll see you tomorrow on the airport, Sica”

All alone, in my room
Waiting for your phone call to come soon

“California?” Taecyeon raise his eyebrows to me “Next morning?”

“Yes…”

“Seriously, Jessica…”

“I’m with Taeyeon, she will take care of me”

“But still…”

“Please, Oppa” I pleaded to him

“I think I have no choice” he leaned back on the chair and smiling “I thought you will take care everything here”

“Yoona and Seohyun already took care of it”

“Such a good work then”

“Oppa?”

“Hmm?”

“Why you look so bothered?”

“Just…” he reached my hand which placed on the table and caressing it gently “Remember about Jay Hyung”

“Hmm?”

“We were clueless at that time. We also had no choice. But he assures us, that everything will be alright”

“He said something like that?”

Taecyeon nodded “Yeah, he said like that when we sent him to airport”

“Tiffany will not leave us, isn’t she?”
