“Are you guys kidding me?” I threw my rage into the producers “Singing about our 9 years’ anniversary?”

“What’s wrong?” one of unknown producer rolled his eyes. I’m not familiar with him, maybe because he’s taking care of Red Velvet

“How can we celebrate 9 years when someone is missing?!”

“Tae…” Jaewon, as known as beatburgerjae, reached upon my upper arms but I shooed them away. Not wasting the time, I get out from the freaking room before throwing another tantrum.

I was walking alone into the dorm, because the others still have their own schedule. Probably, tonight I would be alone. I took orange juice from fridge when my eyes found our old photo which attached at the door of fridge. Slowly, I was counting one by one to the people which are on the frame

My eyes were blurry as the tears threatening to fall. I grip my shirt on the chest as in I felt that I need to grab my heart which feels like scattered away

Why did I count people on this picture?

There were times that were only filled with tears,
But it will be a long journey that will shine brighter than the past days

“I heard you throw a tantrum into producers” a soft voice suddenly heard from my behind. I turn my head back and find a petite figure wore white tee and blue jeans which matched very well with her silk brown hair. She grinned when saw my frown face

“I hate them for making the things become more complicated. You know, it was very sensitive for me. How can we celebrate our…”

I couldn’t finish my words because she’s already hug me tightly. She buried her face into my shoulders as in her arms draped at my waist. Slowly, I can feel she’s crying silently.

“I know that will be hard…” she said in the middle of her cries

“But Taeng…” she snuggled her nose into my neck “We were promised before, even our journey was full of tears that was a process”

I’m not replying her words but caressing her hair instead

Why did she always being positive moreover the world already turned her down before?

Sailing into the night, even if we are left in the dark,
Let’s be together until the end

On the next day, I still refuse to talk with the producers about the song. Tiffany was talked to me but stubborn Taeng always being the same. Walking alone into ice cream parlor near the dorm make me remember about our favorite outing when Summer.

Tiffany always like the strawberry ice cream while Jessica is vanilla chips. Seohyun likes orange juice more than ice cream even Yoona offered her many kind of flavors, because she likes them all. Different with Hyoyeon who has her weird taste about ice cream, she likes special taste like taro or pineapple. Sooyoung always mixed her ice cream with juice, so does Yuri. They like float, moreover with soda. Sunny always choose the chocolate flavors as in it will always available everywhere.
