"Die Die Die!!!"  

Ahh!!  I woke up suddenly to Tanya's yelling.  Ugh what now? Is it another nightmare?

I lift up my head from the pillow and see Tanya holding something in her hands, her eyes transfixed on the tv screen.  

She plays video games...?

"Ugh! No!! Not again!! I'm going to kill him!!!!"  I practically hissed when my opponent knocked down my health level. 

This ought to be interresting......    I moved closer to Tanya and watched her play. She was as fast of a player on the screen as I was on the soccer field. "Ugh!  Will you just run into MY SWORD ALREADY?! YOU'VE BEEN RUNNING IN CIRCLES FOR HOURS NOW!"

She's only been playing for about an hour. Despite her constant yelling and occasional cussing, I couldn't help but watch her fingers work the controller buttons.

"For Crying out loud!" I said, jerking my controller to the side and accidently hitting Minho who let out a loud yelp. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry Minnie I didn't mean to!" I rushed quickly to grab the puppy and make sure he was ok.

Ouch! I thought after being hit with a game controller. I quickly found myself in Tanya's arms as she was making sure she didn't give me brain damage. It's fine Tanya it was an accident. Look! I'm ok! I quickly tried to bounce to my feet- errr... paws... to show her it was fine but couldn't escape her motherly grip.

"What have I done?!?! I've hurt my precious angel puppy! I can't show my face around my family anymore!" At this point I felt like cutting off my own two hands. I felt like I've destroyed a bond so pure nothing I could ever do could make the puppy TRULY know I was sorry.

Sighhh... She's being a drama queen again...

"I really am sorry Minho I didn't mean to hurt you." I stood up and walked over to wear his food was and took out a treat to make up for hurting him. Maybe if words don't work maybe food will? I sure as heck don't know that's how someone else could make me feel better.

I watched as she walked to my food bowl and placed a fancy treat into the shiny food sphere. Aaah... food... the true way to a man's heart... I walked to the bowl and snatched the treat. Look Tanya I'm fine! I jumped around the room happily to show her that I didn't have any major damage.

I couldn't help but laugh at Minho as he hopped from wall to wall around my room. Well I guess that means the treat worked! I went to my gaming console and took out the cd.

"I guess I should change the game. Now what game should I play..." That's when I got a stupid thought. I giggled to myself as I started digging through my drawers.

Oh no she's giggling. This will probably result in one of us being hurt. I hope it's not me again! I slowly walked towards her when she yelled and scared the kibble out of me!

"AHA!" I exclaimed as I held my spare controller into the air. "Dun dun da DAAA!" I giggled to my Legend of Zelda reference as I placed my extra controller on the floor.  "Now what game should I pick... maybe a sports one since you like to play a lot Minnie!" The puppy's ears picked up at the word.

Sports? Did you say sports? What kind of sport are we gonn play? Soccer? Baseball? Basketball? Tell me! Please I must know!

The charismatic pup sure seemed happy about sports! "Alright now what do I have..." I looked through my vast collection of video games to find just the right one. "Maybe FIFA? I've never played it, the wrapping is still on." Minho began to sit next to me and lightly tapping his paw on my leg, telling me to play that one.

You should definetly play that one, no questions asked. Please, Tanya you have to. I'm the cute puppy it's impossible for you to say no to me.

"Alright Alright, hold your horses!" I slid the cd into the console and sat on the floor.

I then passed the controller to Minho who gave me a puzzled look. "This is really stupid but we're going to play together!"

What?! How can I play with paws?! I'm a puppy I have no apposable thumbs! Well, I guess if it'll make you happy I will try.

I watched the puppy struggle to try to get a hold of the controller. Poor thing was practically wrestling it to get it to cooperate. In the midst of the battle of pup vs. controller, I looked at my tv and couldn't believe my eyes. "MINHO YOU'RE ACTUALLY DOING IT!"

I heard Tanya yelling and and pointing at her tv to see that I... was actually playing. I was just as surprised as she was. 

Minho looked just as shocked as I was. A puppy that could play video games, who would've thought! Uh oh, I got another stupid idea. I went to my closet and rummaged through it.

Uh oh, she's got another idea this can't be good...  she came back out with a baseball cap on and a whistle. She gave the whistle a blow so loud I felt my soul leave my fluffy body!

I watched Minnie jump at the sound of the whistle. I would've comforted him but I didn't want to act out of character. "Alright ladies! We're not here to have a game of paddycake with the opposite team. We came here to crush them into the ground! If they want that trophy they'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands! And they'll need luck because I would've glued the trophy to my cold dead hands!" I blowed my whistle again.

Yeesh! You have to stop doing that I'm going to be deaf by the end of the day!    Tanya was really pumped and wanted me to win.

Sigh, she gets so into the littlest of things.      I stared at the controller for a minute and looked back up to Tanya who was still rambling on about winning the virtual gold. Might as well play along. I tackled the controller and started to randomly bite and press the buttons.

"Yeah, Minnie that's the idea! Come on you're almost at the goal!"

Almost there, I can do it!

"C'mon Minnie you can do it, I believe in you!"

The words echoed in my ears... "I believe in you..." The arena didn't exist anymore... I looked into her eyes and felt the fire burning... Do it for her... I must! I jerked the controller sticks forward and suddenly...

"GOAL!!!!"

I couldn't believe it... I did it! I actually did it! Tanya swooped me up in her arms and kissed my forehead. 

"I knew you could do it, champ! And now we go home with the gold!"

She quickly put me down and ran to her phone.

"Kala, you'll never believe what just happened!.."
