Thought # 11.

"It's strange how a person can make you feel complete.

Sometimes, the right person can show us the things we forgot someday.

[Big clouds in the night sky gathered beneath me to drop their sadness converted into raindrops. A concrete road in the woods that completely destroyed the word "nature". My bare feet made splashing the puddles that formed in front of me. On the sides, the night hid the farthest trees as i walked against the wind.

Suddenly I heard the screeching of wheels, a heavy blow, and my heart stopped.

Jeremy.

I ran as fast as I could, and water jumped everywhere. The concrete road made a curve and then I saw it. I saw myself.

I saw myself lying in the ambulance stretcher, where paramedics gave the order to set the defibrillator, and a current strange shook my body.]

My hand jumped into my lap as a reflection when I woke up. I blinked in confusion and watched the guys talking happily while the van still made it's way down the road.

"You okay, angel?" He whispered. Jinki has slept all the way like me resting his head against mine. And then I realized that he had woken up because I had dropped his hand when I woke up. 

"Yes, sorry, I had a nightmare."

"You want to tell me?"

"No, I..." Everyone knew about the accident, but very few had heard the story from the person who was there. But it was too long to tell. So I just took his hand. "It was nothing."

Jinki nodded and closed his eyes.

With a new music video shoot and an schedule to fulfill, the idea of ​​having a honeymoon was postponed until he could make a free space in it. I was comfortable with the days following the wedding. Jinki said that nothing had changed and he was right. The last free day that his manager was able to give them was going to end today, so the boys decided to go to Lotte World for a little fun before returning to their routine. In the distance i could see a huge castle and towers of the entrance. As we were getting there, the boys grew louder. Beside me, Jinki was sleeping, ignoring everything around him. It was the first time for me, but the pictures and recommendations I found online were enough to keep me happy to see it for myself all the way.

"Yah! I'm very excited." Jong laughed pushing Minho by his jacket. "Really excited. I want to get on all the games."

Sitting in the back with us, Key clucked his tongue.

"What's the matter with him? He is behaving like a child."

"Yeah, and I'm the maknae." Taemin said.

"Yah!"Jong looked with a grimace on his face. "Don't lie! everyone is excited!"

"And we owe it to Juliette." Minho said.

"Why?" I chuckled.

"Thanks you married hyung our managers include us all on free days they give to the leader." He replied.

At the moment the boys opened the door of the van, everything around us turned in a world of laughter and fun. Parents taking their children's hands. Other parents placed their children on their shoulders or on their backs, and everyone seemed to be happier here. Young couples, married couples with children. I saw them, and I asked myself if one day we would be like that. I didn't know anything about our future, but we couldn't just be friends forever. All this should lead us to somewhere someday.

But for now sharing a bed it was enough.

FLASHBACK

Juliette tried not to think about her heartbeats while Jinki was driving back to the dorm. Sharing a room could create a bond between you. Although his father didn't know they were already doing it, she continued keep that as secret. When she first thought about that, sharing the bed was definitely out of the question. But that idea was far now after falling asleep on the sofa nights ago, and now that his father had mentioned the subject, everything had become awkward.

She leaned against the wall of the hall while Jinki opened the door.

"Ladies first, Mrs. Lee." He smiled, and she was about to enter when Jinki stopped her. "Wait!"

"What?" Without saying anything, Jinki took her in his arms, lifting her off the ground. Juliette laughed in surprise as her hands hugged his neck. "What are you doing?"

"Doing what a husband should do?" Jinki smiled as he closed the door with his foot, walking across the living room to the bedroom.

"Jinki, please don't let me fall."

"I will never do that, angel." He kissed her cheek, and in her mind she thought that maybe he said that in another way too. When they got there, he left her in bed. She rubbed her tired eyes. "You look tired, angel, you'd better change your clothes so we can sleep."

Jinki kissed her forehead and stood up.

"Jinki..." She stopped him by the sleeve, so he sat down and looked at her with curious eyes. She just wanted to know how he felt about it. "You…. Don't you feel this kind of weird?"

Jinki looked confused.

"Are you afraid of me?"

"No, of course not." She shook her head.

"Look, I know this is weird. We didn't do what a couple should do, like going on a date or something, but I want you to know I wouldn't hurt you, and if you feel awkward, we don't have to sleep together."

It was just to share a bed, it was no big deal.

"No, you... you can sleep here."

"Thank you, angel." He approached her, and she closed her eyes when his lips gently touched hers.

"Aigo..." Jonghyun smiled clasping his hands as he approached me. "Hyung and you are so adorable."

I looked at my clothes and then to Key who smiled pleased by forcing us to wear clothes like these. I had a red baseball jacket and Jinki a black one, black jeans and converse. I giggled, I would have never expected this, but I had to admit it was fun.

"Yah!" Key shouted at him and pushed him. "Instead of being good to make fun of people, why don't you go to buy our tickets?"

After Jonghyun would insist to the girl at the ticket office he wanted to pay for them, Tae chose to go to the first game after winning the rock, paper, scissors, so he decided we should go to Merry Go Round. We stop in front of the carousel. Ceiling lights glowed with an amber color. Actually, everything was so bright that i felt like waking up on Christmas morning. The young guy in charge let us in and the boys looked for a horse that was better for them.

"Today they're acting like children more than usual." Jinki stopped next to me before getting on the turntable. "You like it?"

"Yes. I've never been here and is exciting, indeed. And I'm glad that they are so happy." I pointed to Jong, who had ridden a horse next to Minho. "Jong's eyes are shining... He's cute."

"And all this is because of you, right? Everything is thanks to Juliette who married hyung." He sighed dramatically. "But no thanks to the leader."

I laughed.

"Yah. Don't be dramatic. We are married. Let's split it 50/50. Okay?"

Jinki laughed, and even against people who were watching us, he took my hand.

"I like when you say that."

"Say what?"

"That we're married."

The rumor that SHINee was in the park spread faster than I thought.

"Tae, why did you choose this game?" Key lowered his hat, but unlike them, the fans who gathered around seemed to be enjoying it.

I jumped to the horse siting on a side. Tae sat beside Key, followed by Jinki and I and Jonghyun and Minho. When other people also went up and all had their place, the game started quickly. The horses began to move up and down as a fun music started.

"It's fun." Tae smiled at Key, and then he smiled at me. "Right, noona?"

"Y... Yes."

"Liar." Jonghyun whispered, i turned to him and he smiled, then he stuck his tongue out.

"Yah!" And he did it too.

"Aigo, i didn't know how much fun it was to have a wife." He laughed.

"Yah!" Jinki looked at Jong and then at me. "Stop cheating on me."

"What?" I laughed and stuck my tongue out too.

"Yah!" He laughed.

Jonghyun snorted.

"Hyung is lucky to have Juliette, with this life i will end married to Key."

"What?!" He shouted, and he hit him on the shoulder. "Yah! You."

"Eiiiish." Jong rubbed where Key hit him. "That didn't seem to bother you when I proposed you on Hello Baby."

"Yeobo." Key smiled. "I can't marry because I have enough children."

Minho sighed.

"I told you, Juliette, sometimes I think we lost them."

I chuckled.

"Maybe Onew hyung would want to share Juliette with us." Jong smiled mischievously.

"Yah!" Jinki frowned. "You're going to have to get someone else because she is mine."

I looked away from Minho to look at Jinki, and I guess I was so distracted that I didn't notice that the game was over. I leaned forward a little when I slipped.

And as fast as was my almost-fall, Jinki's reaction was it too. When I opened my eyes, I was in his arms. The guys did a "Ufff" and then a "Aw" as the people around.

Jinki chuckled.

"Aigo! Angel, i have to remember to take a really good care of you."

"I'm so excited." Jonghyun jumped happy while we waited our turn, and he couldn't be happier to choose the next game.

"Is it a good idea?" Key looked at me with concern.

The horror house looked terrifying and giant, and the entrance to the contrary from the beautiful afternoon, was dark. It was our turn; Jonghyun, Key, Tae, Minho, Jinki and me. We entered a narrow passageway, so narrow that we could only walk one after another, and the door closed buried us in a complete darkness.

Seconds later the lights began to flicker. The hallway would drowned any attempts to run if i wanted to, and it was so dark, that was all i thought. Suddenly I felt like claustrophobic person. The air felt warm because of the choppy breaths. The rooms at the sides had no doors, so you had to be brave and poke your head. No way. But the blackness of them seemed to be infinite, so while going through them, I made sure not to look inside. Looking only what is in front, Juliette, there is nothing to try to see there. Too many nights of horror movies with Sam and Danny had created in my mind silly ideas that someday something would happen in the real world. And I didn't want to look there if a hand would come out and tried to take one of us.

"You go." Key pushed Jonghyun when they decided to stop.

I could see fingerprints that seemed to have struggled to not enter that place. 

"Me?" Jonghyun swallowed and looked out at all of us. "I'm the main vocalist, if anything happens to me imagine how the fans will be. Juliette, you go."

My heart raced believing i would have to go.

"Yah!" Jinki took me to him. "If you touch her I will push you to that room."

Suddenly we heard sobs from that place, and I could already imagine a woman with her face covered by her hair coming out of there to give us a not so warm welcome, so nobody lost time before walking again.

Luckily we reached a circular room, with more passages to choose. The air was cold and the fear was diminished. I glanced around, walls with blood splattered, an old chair with a horrible doll. The lights flickered and i heard the joyous laughter of a little girl, a sinister laugh that shook my whole body. The laughter was so sweet that made the situation unbearable, so I covered my ears with my hands. Then, suddenly, the lights went out, and was followed by the sound appeared to be a lightning, so I jumped back in fright when someone took my hand and squeezed it.

"Tae?" It was Key's voice.

"Key?" I said.

"Juliette?" He said.

"Minho?" Jinki said.

"Hyung?"

"Omma?"

"Oh, God!" Jonghyun said.

The lights flicked and turn on again. The light was so strong and resplendent that we all used one hand to protect us from it. When i could see, we all looked at each other, but then stopped at Jonghyun; who held the hand of a girl. She had a bloodstained white dress, classic. Key screamed and the lights went out again.

No re-ignite this time.

And the whole situation got out of control.

Key and Jong's cry finished making me completely go back and make me run away from there as if my life depended on it. I went for the nearest corridor; on the left, and I tried to calm myself and i stopped in a room. It was small, dirty, with only a lamp on a small table at the end of the room. There were two more passages on each side, but I couldn't imagine myself walking again. None of this was real, and yet i was scared as if something could hurt me.

I stepped forward and my eyes widened in shock when I saw a person through the wall, but then I noticed it was me. There were not walls but mirrors. The room was so dark i didn't see it. I stepped over to watch me closely, i moved my hands and my reflection did the same from the other side, but... when I was close enough a zombie slammed in the mirror and began to moan as he tried to reach me. I put my hands to my mouth and I jumped in fright hitting someone's chest.

"It's me."Jinki hugged me from behind before I tried to hit him to free myself. "Come on."

His hand took mine as he walked behind me on the dirty and bloody corridor on the left. We walked but I noticed that there were other rooms on the sides. I was about to stop, not wanting to go there and see what was in, but before doing it Jinki put a hand over my eyes and made me continue.

"Come on. We don't have to see that." He said, and I wondered what was inside.

Luckily the corridor led us to the exit. The door creaked open and daylight made my shoulders fall of relief.

"Thank you, Jinki."

"You're welcome, Angel." He smiled. "That was frightening."

"I know." I shuddered.

Jinki sighed and took my hand.

"Don't ever walk away from me, i didn't know what to do."

"Sorry." I said embarrassed. I could remember how his heart was beating fast against my back.

"I never want to do that again." Key said between breaths as he walked out from that place.

"Neither do i." Tae came after him.

"Yah! Stay away from me!" Minho shouted when Jonghyun tried to put a hand on his shoulder. "Because of him the girl followed us everywhere."

"You are bewitched!" Key said taking Tae in his arms. "Stay away from my baby!"

"Yah!" Jong said with a sad face. Suddenly everyone was against him.

"Maybe the girl was a Blinger." I shrugged.

Everyone stopped to see me and for a second I thought I had said something wrong, but then they laughed.

I looked at the sky when we stopped in front of the roller coaster, listening to the screams of people while passing by at an incredible speed.

"Now, an attraction for men." Jonghyun smiled. Jong looked at Minho and pushed him.

Both began to push at each other while laughing. All looked very excited, but my stomach felt bad and shrank when I saw how the cars quickly moved up there. I used to escape these situations after I saw how bad Sam was after a bet with his brother. The worst bet of her life according to her. I felt dizzy when I saw that the line shortened more and more.

I looked at the sides with shyness, I was about to invent an excuse to wriggle myself out of this problem, or just admit that was a lot for me, because it really was, but then Jinki took my hand and laced our fingers.

"I think we'll take a break." He said. "Anyway I couldn't spend time with Juliette."

He smiled and took me out of the line.

The guys did a "Aw" and laughed as we turned a corner and we disappeared from sight. I sighed deeply, I suddenly felt incredibly relieved, and i smiled shyly.

"You don't have to do this, Jinki. I can walk around while I wait."

"No." He smiled. "I didn't want to go that game. In addition, we didn't have time alone until now." He pouted, disappointed of how Tae and Key always insisted that I sit next to them. "What do you want to do now?"

"Well..." I was going to respond when I looked at our hands and then people watching us. Showing ourself that way made me feel exposed, so I pointed at our hands still together. "Your hand."

"Oh yes!" He scratched the back of his neck and giggled, but didn't let us go. "What strange. Umm... Let's go there! I want to eat cotton candy."

We sat on a bench after the seller kindly wished us a happy marriage. Just in front of us and a few steps was the Ferris wheel, which brought me some memories, but i erased them from my mind and I focused on Jinki while taking big bites of cotton. I chucked as I took my backpack and pulled out the camera that Ryan gave me before leaving school, just after i said to him i wanted to be a photographer. Taking photos had become more than a hobby for me. I turned to Jinki with a finger on the button.

"Yah." He laughed when he heard the click of the camera.

"Natural shots are better." I chuckled while watching the picture. "You look good. Why do idols always look good?"

"Practice." He smiled proudly. "Let's take one of us." He took the camera and turned the screen toward us, then put his arm around my shoulder. "Oh! I forgot something."

I turned to him and his face was very close, millimeters, and he pressed his lips on mine. I closed my eyes until I heard the click of the camera. I pulled away quickly and put my fingers on my lips as i looked at him surprised.

"Yah! Why did you do that?"

"The natural shots are better." He smiled looking at the picture.

I squinted at him.

"You…"

I stopped when my phone rang in my pocket. Key's name lit the screen when I took it; there was a message.

"Love Birds, we will wait for you two at the Ferris wheel. Hurry up - Key Omma."

"They want to see us at the Ferris wheel, let's go." I stood trying to look away for him to hide my red cheeks.

Jinki stopped me, I refused to look at him but he took my chin, he used his finger to trace my cheek.

"Why don't you like that people look at us? We are married, angel, it's natural." He smiled, took my hand and laced our fingers before walking again.

The Ferris wheels gave us this beautiful view of the sky that has no end when it moved us to its highest point. For me, when the sky was in a beautiful blue-black color, and when it is full of stars, I felt close to the people I lost.

"Do you like the view, Angel?" I heard, my eyes saw the place, but my thoughts wouldn't let me see what was in front of me. My mind was lost in my memories again.

"Yes." I shook my head slightly, and looked at Jinki sitting in front of me and looked back at the horizon. "It's beautiful."

It was night, and the sky was illuminated. That reminds me of the last time I was in an attraction like this.

FLASHBACK

"Juliette, come back here!" Her mother shouted from the kitchen when Juliette opened the door of her house to run. She ran without knowing where, no longer wanted to be there and hear more criticisms of anyone. Her house was drowning her and fresh air helped her to think.

When her knees started shaking and threatened to fall, Juliette finally stopped. She tried to catch her breath while she looked where she was, and saw the Ferris wheel that had been installed a few blocks from her home. Now she was grateful to see it. She took her time to breathe normally again and wiped her face with her sleeve before going there. She bought a ticket. She just needed to be near the sky, just for a moment to feel near enough before to admit that she lost her twin and he was never coming back.

I ran my hands through my hair as I leaned forward.

"Juliette." I felt Jinki's hands on my arms. "Are you okay? What's wrong, angel?"

I look up again and looked at him.

"I'm fine." I said shaking my hair aside and turning to lean back a little, because he was squatting in front of me. "Can I ask you something, Jinki?"

"Anything you want."

I thought about it, but my question made no sense, and i wouldn't explain where it came from something like that, so I shook my head.

"Nothing, it's not important."

Jinki blinked, confused.

"You can trust me."

"I..." Trust was not a word I believe in. "It's nothing. Forget it, please."

He sighed.

"It's something bad? You can tell me anything. You ca..." Jinki looked at my neck, the place that i had exposed. He moved his hand just below my ear, touching the tiny scar. I shuddered and recoiled, like Jinki, by my reaction. "What happened to you, angel?"

"Nothing."

His eyebrows drew together in concern.

"That's something, something happened to you."

"I told you it's nothing."

"It's about a guy?" He asked. "It's because a guy the reason why you don't trust me?"

"No. This has nothing to do with a guy, Jinki."

"So? Why is it so hard for you to trust new people? Why do you keep running away when I try to get close to you? I'm trying, and you said you were going to try too."

"I'm not running from anything, and you are still a stranger to me."

"I'm not a stranger." He muttered, but he didn't seem to talk to me. "I'm your husband, yours. And you're running away from me, because you're afraid of what I can give you, but I won't hurt you, angel, never."

"I am not afraid."

"Of course you are."

"I said no."

Jinki cocked his head and squinted.

"You don't have to pretend with me." He said loftily.

I really, really I hated when people challenged me. But now, the worst part was that he was right. So there wasn't a valid argument with to defend myself.

"You don't know me! Don't pretend that you do, and why do i have to trust in you when you believed in Luna. Why---"

Jinki pressed his lips against mine, so I closed my eyes when he did too. His hands went to my face taking my cheeks, softly. This time I just didn't wanted him to stop, because he remind me that my life wasn't so empty when i was with him.

"I think..." He whispered against my lips. "I know what I must do to calm you down."

I hit his shoulder and Jinki chuckled. 

Then he closed his eyes resting his forehead against mine, smiling.
