Key takes the first bite.

“Mmmm~ It’s salty! Isn’t it?” Key blurts.

“No. It can’t be.” Taemin says.

Minho takes a bite.

“I don’t think the meat is cooked all the way. I feel like I’m chewing gum.”

Naeun’s face falls. All her hard work for two weeks was piled up into nothing. She felt like she had dropped the ball. 

“Don’t worry. You won’t die! It’s tasty.” Taemin says.

“It is nice.” Key says.

“Yes for your first meal, it’s nice.” Minho adds.

“You know that Taemin likes meat, right?” Key asks Naeun.

“She likes it just as me!” Taemin says.

“You guys go well together.” Key observes.

“Yeah our habits are very similar!” Taemin says proudly. 

Minho bursts into laughter.

“Habits? What are you a wild wolf?” Key asks.

“No I mean, our personalities and habits are similar.” Taemin clarfies. 

“Yeah, I think so too.” Key agrees.

This statement makes Taemin smile. Having the approval of s makes him happy. 

“Not too many people laugh at his jokes, she would not stop laughing.” Key adds.

Taemin and Naeun laugh self-consciously. 

“Have you seen her cutting watermelons?” Taemin asks the hyungs.

“I didn’t see that on the show...” Minho says.

“It wasn’t on the show, it was a long time ago.” Taemin adds.

“Oh a long time ago? You looked it up?” Minho says excitedly.

“Oh no. I didn’t look it up...” Taemin says, nervously tugging on his lips.

“You looked it up didn’t you?” Minho says with a calculating smile.

“No that’s not it...” Taemin stammers.

“Did you look up ‘Son Naeun’ to see what she did before, like ‘oh she did this performance’ ‘oh she was in this drama’ ‘oh she was here’” Minho says with a slight smile.

“I was searching her up but..” Taemin says with difficulty.

“Did you or did you not!” Minho says loudly.

“I...did.” Taemin says while hiding behind his hands.

“My members seem so much bigger than me... ah. It’s embarrassing.” he says to himself.

“Hey. Bring me your phone quickly.” Key says casually.

“My phone? Why?” Taemin hands Key his phone.

“Hahaha. This is hideous.” Key laughs.

Taemin laughs at this and hides behind Minho’s arm.

“Have you seen this? Oh, you’re really disgusting!” Key adds.

“No but the funny part is, Taemin was in the waiting room playing a game and he had this case on. He looked ridiculous.” Minho says.

“Why? It’s pretty.” Taemin smiles avoiding Naeun’s gaze.

“Before meeting you, we did some research and Taemin circled you as his ideal style. We were told that you did it too but you didn’t pick Taemin.” Minho says.
Naeun’s heart drops. She knows what is coming next.

“But! You picked someone else from SHINee.” Minho adds.

“REALLY?” Key bursts into laughter.

“Really?” Taemin says reaching the peak of his embarrassment. 

“Oh no. I can’t really remember who I picked.” Naeun says quietly.

Taemin covers his face, knowing Naeun is lying to try to make him feel better. A million thoughts go through his mind of who it is, and he feels his face flush. He balls his hands into fists. 

Minho and Key laugh at Taemin’s honest display of embarrassment. A sight they’ve seen before.

“I didn’t mean it like that Taemin.” Minho adds.

“I know I know.” Taemin says, burying his face in his hands.

“Who is it?” Key asks the heavy question.

Minho covers Taemin’s ears. Naeun sees his upset state but also sees Key’s eagerness. Does she try to become closer to the hyungs to help Taemin’s discomfort.

“I just picked the person who I thought.. from looking at them on stage.” Naeun says carefully.

“Exactly. Who?” Key presses the subject, while Minho covers Taemin’s eyes. Taemin’s mind going crazy, not wanting to know which one of ’s Naeun is attracted to.

Naeun hesitates, feeling Taemin’s discomfort.

“Can you mouth it?” Key asks, Minho’s eyes going wide in anticipation.

Naeun mouths it.

“Oh really?” Minho says.

“Oh! I really couldn’t see.” Taemin says happily.

“Ah. Jonghyun.” Key says unconcerned about Taemin’s discomfort.

Naeun’s eyes immediately go to Taemin. His mouth drops in shock.
“Oh really?” Taemin looks at Naeun.

“Just... just from looking on stage.” Naeun sputters.

“Ahh... I see.” Taemin says while the hyungs go crazy in laughter.

Taemin’s confidence goes down. How can Naeun like him if she was attracted to Jonghyun? He’s not like him at all. She probably doesn’t like him. She is probably acting.

“But you two are already married!” Minho says.

“Yeah there’s nothing I can do about it now.” Taemin’s eyes start to lose focus. 

“You’re okay, aren’t you?” Minho asks.

“You two look good together, anyway.” Key adds.

“I don’t know what to say.” Taemin says expressionless.
“Do you like being married?” Minho asks trying to change the subject.

“Yes. I do. I like, you know, how should I say this.. like doing all the things I’ve.. imagined and like..”

Key interrupts with his laughter.

“Are you usually this bad at speaking? This is shocking!” He says.
“Do you get shy when you think about it? What has been your favorite date?” He asks to push Taemin’s buttons.

Taemin looks down and smiles.

“Today was really fun!” 

“You went bungee-jumping right?”

“Yes, together.”

“Did you do it together, while hugging?” Minho asks excitedly.

“No.” Naeun says. While Taemin’s too embarrassed to speak.

“You should have done it while hugging!” Minho says while looking at Taemin.

“ah.. I don’t know.. hugging is.....” Taemin stammers.

“Is it embarrassing to even talk about it?” Minho says with a sly smile.

“No.. it’s just..”

“WHY CAN’T YOU SPEAK PROPERLY! SPEAK PROPERLY!” Minho teases.

“...hands...” Taemin sputters.

“hands.” Minho does an imitation of Taemin’s embarrassed state.

“No. It’s just that... it was difficult to hug. Difficult to hug? What am I saying?” Taemin laughs at himself. 

“Don’t be nervous Taemin! Why are you nervous?” Minho teases.

“I don’t know what to say...” Taemin says timidly.
Taemin knows why he’s having difficulty speaking, because it’s the first time he’s introduced the hyungs to a girl he likes. He knows they know it too and that’s why they’re teasing him endlessly.
