double update ~ part 2 

the moving in day ~ FNC 6:00 p.m - CNBLUE practicing room 

jonghyun tuned his guitar while mumbling " hyung is late " 

" i sent him a text and he said he's on his way to FNC " minhyuk responded while reading Krystal text 

(( me , shinhye unnie , amber and others are having a gathering tomorrow , would you like to come ? ~ from krystal )) 

minhyuk lips twisted into an excited smirk as he replied right away 

(( of course i'll be there  )) 

" so what happened exactly ? " jonghyun narrowed his eyes questioning

" dubu died yesterday " jungshin said with a low tone

" you're kidding me right !!! what an awful timing " jonghyun shouted shocked 

" poor seohyun~ah , her comeback stage is tomorrow too " minhyuk said and let out a depressed sigh 

" seohyun was really attached to dubu , i bet she's having a hard time these days " jungshin voiced worried 

jonghyun murmured " i bet hyung will have to deal with it too " 

" he'll have to take care of her since she's his girlfriend and it was his gift too , let aside the timing " minhyuk explained 

" and that's exactly why i don't date seriously , it's nuisance " jonghyun said coldly , he continued " it's so hard to be commitment at all times , and to the same exact girl whatever her mood was !! "   

" well , it's just because you didn't find your own hyun yet , hyung " minhyuk said teasing  

" and i think he'll never find her with that attitude " jungshin said with uninterested tone  

" huh ! look who is talking !! " jonghyun said mocking 

the boys heard a knock on the door and the next moment the secretary opened their door accompanied by CEO han 

" sajanim !! " they boys were alerted immediately by his presence 

" ah please don't mind me , so how is the practice ? " CEO han went and sat down on the couch casually 

the boys froze for a moment before they get a hold of their minds 

" we're doing fine " jonghyun said smiling 

the CEO nodded in understanding " good , September is sooner than what you think " 

" yes , sajanim " the boys responded and he nodded before he asks " so where is ... " 

" sajanim ! your face looks brighter today ! i wonder why ! " minhyuk voiced with a charming smile interrupting the CEO 

" ahahaha ! really " the CEO smiled contented as he glanced the mirror across the room , he continued " i just bought that cosmetic when i was in France and ..  " he paused halfway and cleared his voice 

" so where is .. yonghwa ? " the CEO successfully asked this time 

" eh he's not here ?! " jungshin acted flustered as he looked for yonghwa everywhere and under minhyuk's drums set 

the CEO narrowed his eyes " i never thought that yonghwa would fit under the drums set " he said the sorrow joke and the boys laughed it out 

" you never know what hyung is up to " minhyuk said with a wide smile 

the CEO stood up to leave solemnly " i'm not sure when will you start practicing seriously for the comeback , but i hope .. " 

yonghwa opened the door and went in , he noticed the CEO and greeted him 

" oh , sajanim you made it here personally , what a bright day seeing you and all " yonghwa said cheerfully 

" you made it here finally " the CEO highlighted raising a brow 

" seriously FNC café isn't my favorite ! i had to go all the way to Starbucks to buy my americano .. if i knew you were here i would have had brought yours too , my bad " yonghwa said casually 

" don't worry about it " the CEO responded as he took a steps past yonghwa to leave with a stiff expression

" sajanim !! " yonghwa shouted stopping the CEO and getting his attention , he continued " i just made a deal with mammoo member - for domino collaboration - , her company accepted the offer too ! i think her voice will add to the song " 

the CEO thought about it for a moment before he nods " that sounds good , you've worked hard yonghwa " 

he patted yonghwa's shoulder nodding and yonghwa smiled , the CEO pointed a finger at yonghwa contented " i really like that idea , you did well " 

yonghwa bowed thankful , and the CEO left the room humming with a bright mood  

" i'm not sure how you did it , but that contented CEO was flaring in anger a moment ago " jonghyun said in disbelief 

" it's because i'm such a genius " yonghwa said with a smirk 

" if it wasn't for you being FNC golden boy ,he would have had thrown you out by now " jungshin lectured 

" but that was so close hyung , you have to be more cautious " minhyuk said with a worried tone as he frowned at yonghwa 

" don't worry boys , i can handle him well " 

" so how's seohyun doing today ? " jungshin asked 

yonghwa pressed his lips together as he sank into the couch " well , she's a little depressed , actually really depressed .. " 

they heard another knock on the door 

" annehesyo " the young handsome man made his way into CNBLUE practice room bowing deeply 

" jonwoo !! " yonghwa got confused as he saw the trainee visting them out of no where

" i just heard about you practicing for a new album so i thought i should congratulate you " the young boy said awkwardly 

yonghwa went toward him and shook his hand acting important " thanks for your support , you should work hard too " 

" i heard that your group will make their debut soon " jonghyun said and jonwoo nodded 

" i think we'll make a public appearance this year , but i'm not sure when will we debut though " jonwoo said and the boys nodded 

" good luck " minhyuk said 

all the possible topics between a trainee and sunbae ended , so jonwoo broke the awkward silence " mmm .. i was wondering , since SNSD Lion heart comeback is tomorrow , does that mean CNBLUE comeback will coincidence with SNSD comeback again ? "  

yonghwa raised his gaze slowly glancing him before he replies calmly " i don't think so ? " 

" arghhh that's too bad !! " the guy clinched a fist in disappointment 

" what did you say ?! " yonghwa questioned at loss 

" it's just fun watching CNBLUE & SNSD interacting " jonwoo said excited and yonghwa narrowed his eyes glancing jungshin in confusion 

 " i'm afraid i'm interrupting your practice so i'll leave now " he said and bowed several times 

yonghwa stared at the young guy as he recalled his connection to SNSD , or more precisely his connection to seohyun ! he's the trainee that made a cameo appearance that night at the garage with seohyun .. they looked close too - closer than how a trainee and a sunbae idol could get - 

yonghwa shook his head as he smiled mocking his own weird thoughts .. 

jonwoo froze halfway and turned around asking yonghwa  " so how is seohyun-ssi doing these days ? " 

yonghwa's smile faded as he looked at him in confusion " why seohyun ?! " 

the guy chuckled " nothing , just because you're YONGHWA hyung i thought you would know how is seohyun-ssi doing ! " 

yonghwa stared at the guy from head to toe with a blank mind which didn't help to assort what kind of intentions would that trainee have ... 

" i think .. she's fine ? " yonghwa answered him with a questioning tone , questioning jonwoo intentions rather than seohyun's state 

jonwoo smiled cheerfully " thanks hyung , i'll go now " he went outside and closed the door 

jonghyun asked confused " so how did he know about dubu loss ! " 

" eh , who said he knows ! " minhyuk said unconvinced 

" i mean why would he ask about how seohyun is doing otherwise !! " jonghyun explained his point of view 

" that might be just a coincidence " jungshin suggested

" that was weird anyway " jonghyun murmured as he stood and started adjusting his guitar 

yonghwa wore his guitar and reasoned calmly " nothing weird, he just met seohyun once at FNC so now he's acting like a noisy fanboy " 

" aha ! so that what was it about " jonghyun nodded with a half opened mouth 

" yeah , that's it " yonghwa confirmed with a confident tone

3:00 a.m yonghwa's apartment

i returned back to my apartment 3:00 a.m , i could have continued practicing at FNC but i almost forgot about my invitation to seohyun to live with me , the least attention i could give her is to return home at the end of the day 

i took a light steps toward my room checking seohyun out , the lights were off except for the nightstand lamp which gave the room relaxing illumination , seohyun was already asleep hugging a pillow , i watched over her for a moment sleeping peacefully

 my heart was confined the whole day with a worried thoughts about her emotional state , although dubu loss was a major heart break for her but i knew she was smart enough to handle her emotions the right way .. 

" i can feel your stare even with my eyes closed " she mumbled

" you didn't sleep yet !! " i shouted shocked 

" i'm trying to " she said with a sleepy tone hugging her pillow tightly and closing her eyes more forcefully 

i went and sat on the bed edge as i looked at her with sympathy , i passed my fingers through her hair gently  " how was your day ? " 

" it was okay " she replied half heartedly still closing her eyes 

she rolled over the bed getting closer to my spot sensing my heat

 " i've been missing you since the moment you left " she murmured before she open her eyes gazing at me quietly with a sparkling eyes , i got aware of my irregular breathing pattern as i gazed at them

" you should've had called me " i said with a gentle tone although i knew she would've never done it anyway 

" how is the album preparation going ? " she asked with calm low tone 

" i told the CEO about my collaboration and his face brightened " 

" that's good " she said looking at me with a half hearted smile and my heart broke , it was 3:00 a.m and she had a schedule the next morning so it wasn't possible to cheer her up right at the moment with any means 

" i brought you a half gallon of your favorite ice cream , but i bet you'll never eat it this late " i said giggling trying to cheer her up

she talked with her eyes closed " how thoughtful !! you knew i wouldn't but brought it anyway to tease me tonight , right ? " 

" no , i was planing to tease you tomorrow " 

she let out a heavy sigh acting in pain " thanks , i'll enjoy it after the comeback " 

i giggled as i leaned and printed my lips on her forehead  " i'll work in the other room and keep it low " 

she nodded " okay " 

" good night " 

" night~ "

i walked out of the room depressed , what was that just now !! she looked like a dead fish lying there and i couldn't even cheer her up  

~ one hour later ~ 

i yawned with a sleepy eyes and glanced the watch on the laptop's screen 4:00 a.m , i leaned my back on the couch to relax , today was seriously a long day ..

i lost count of the places i had to rush back and forth in between , and i couldn't even taste the warm feeling of living together with seohyun for the first day nor i could help her to cheer up her depression .. i shut my eyes tightly thinking how i missed her 

 i heard a gloomy steps , so i flickered my eyes open and found seohyun ghostly walking toward me watching her own heavy steps , the gloomy aura that surrounded her was no joke .. 

" you didn't sleep yet !! " i shouted the same exact line again 

she let a sigh as she sank into the couch leaning on my shoulder " i tried to " 

i buried my nose into her hair and reached for her hand interlacing our fingers together " why are you so restless tonight ? " 

" i think i'm just worried for the comeback " she said with unconvinced tone

i knew it wasn't the truth .. seohyun was the type to sleep earlier whenever she gets more worried about a schedule

" should i buy you another one ? " i mumbled against her crown suggesting to buy her another pet , if that's could bring happiness again to her life , why should i let her suffer this much 

" no !! i don't want " seohyun denied vigorously right away then she lost her energy again as she nudged her face deeper into my arm and talked " i don't wish to live this heartache again , losing something after loving it so much is so painful " 

i took a deep shaky breath as my heart swelled with depression , even when we're together we could feel dubu empty spot in our day so how about seohyun's day spending it all alone , it must have been awful living her day reminding herself over and over about the difference that dubu presence would have brought to that exact moment .. 

my arm sensed a heavy sigh from and i wasn't sure if it was out of depression or sobbing , i could expect either since it was her second day after her painful loss 

" hey ? " i questioned as i looked for her face behind my arm 

" sorry , i'll be fine " she mumbled clutching her hands into my shirt securing her hideout like a self reflecting child , she looked so fragile that moment and eventually i made my own vow not to hurt her again for whatever reason 

i surrounded my arm around her back hugging her " should i bring jingie from busan temporary " i suggested as i caressed her back 

she shook her head denying " no " 

i was at loss of what to do to wrap up such a night , the air was heavy with depression that suffocated me too eventually 

" hey , hyun~ah .. i know i'm no where near dubu's level in your heart , but can you give me another chance ! i'll work harder "  

she glared up at me frowning " what did you just say ?! " 

" i was just asking , should i bring jingie from busan temporary ? " i rephrased acting clueless and she laughed  

" did you finish your work already ? " she asked seriously

" i'm not sure , i think i'll need more time " i said with a low tone in exhaustion 

" oh ! okay i'll go rest for now " she responded flustered as she wriggled to stand up
