NYC - club 10:00 p.m

i sat on the leather couch , drinking and passing time until seohyun's arrival ..
wherever my glance fell , i identified korean faces as expected from a private gathering for idols .. 

VIXX and Teen Top were already there , i didn't expect all of AOA members to come since their flight arrival was hours ago so they must be tired , SNSD were coming soon 

the non-asian girls clubbing caught my attention , they had fair skin , light shades of hair and range of colored irises .. they looked fabulous and outgoing , few male idols who were confident enough in their english skills , hit on those girls and got a company for the night , it was their chance to have fun and enjoy their youth , everyone were understanding and didn't give much attention to whatever their colleagues were doing .. 

" i'm late for a few minutes and you are already thinking about other girls ! " i heard nagging seohyun out of nowhere 

" no i wasn't " i said firmly as i glanced her directly in the eyes , i widened my eyes once i left her gaze 

" are you kidding me ? " i exclaimed with a glare as my glance fell on her dress , she totally ignored my request earlier and wore whatever she liked to .. 

her tight blue dress hugged her curves and showed them off , the wide dress' straps did a little job hiding her cleavage , the dress on it's own was lacking but her perfect body made her stand out , catching everyone's breath and eyes 

" thanks , you look handsome too " she considered my frown as a compliment and giggled , she sat meters away but thankfully on the same couch 

i glanced our distance and got irritated " hyun~ah !! " i called her once , twice but the loud music and our meter distance didn't help us get connected ..

i knew that however i tried to get closer to her she'll take the safe distance again and again so i just stared at her side profile while she quietly watched people having fun .. 

she was beautiful as ever and my heart ridiculously raced for her , she looked distant so i had the thrill running through my veins to get closer to her , to get her attention , to get her heart to beat for me again ..

hakyeon the loyal fanboy - the joke that never ends - found his way towards us in a record time as usual ! he didn't even talk to her yet , but i'm here all irritated 

" seo juhyun " i shouted to get her attention 

" wae- yo ! " she threw me a lady like side glance tinged with curiosity 

" i don't like it here " i announced sulky but i'm not sure if she even heard me as hakyeon already got her attention 

" seohyun-ssi , hey " hakyeon said bowing and acting as if he was the most proper guy on earth 

although seohyun bowed back from her seat but the aura around her was on another level .. a fabulous queen , a beautiful goddess that kind of aura she was known for ..

" haekyeon-ssi !! you are here " i said welcoming him too , that's exactly my job tonight getting in the way of my girl's fanboys 

he bowed to me as an extra company and shifted his glance back to juhyun .. i understand .. since she was very pretty , it takes more than a glance to check out all her artistic details , her cute pink lips takes the majority of attention though .. 

" you went blonde ! i have to say it's really beautiful " hakyeon said the flirtation line with a conservative tone , so it would make me the crazy guy if i reacted over this 

" ooooh thank you " seohyun said excited as she touched her hair shyly and threw me a side glance 

" did you have fun in new york ? hakyeon ssi " seohyun was the one who fished topics because she's right now interested in anyone and everyone excluding me 

the guy was sticking to the seat beside her but couldn't dare to sit down as he was getting my ultimate glare ! he could just ignore me but he knows that i could mess up his whole life as a senior hyung 

" yeah , there are a lot of nice places i went to , museums and arts galleries included " hakyeon replied and seohyun widened her eyes in excitement

the smart bastard surely knows how to attract her attention ! 

" museums sounds interesting "  she said in admiration , she continued " maybe i should go visit them the day after tomorrow " 

" the day after tomorrow i can .... " hakyeon was excited enough to cross the line 

but i interrupted him with a dark tone challenging him " the day after tomorrow , I will be already in korea " 

hakyeon froze awkwardly for a moment , while seohyun pouted her lips and touched her hair glancing people at a distance 

" is that so .. excuse me , my friend arrived " hakyeon stuttered as he bowed going backwards before he blends away in the club .. 

" buin~ah " i called her 

she glanced at me with uninterested eyes  " that was mean " 

" clearly he was flirting with you using your hair shade excuse " 

seohyun crossed her arms over her chest as she looked straight forward " at least he noticed i went blonde " 

" i noticed too !! actually the whole world noticed that you went blonde , so what's the point ! " 

" at least he said something about it " seohyun said with a solemn expression looking at people , it's true that i didn't say anything about her going blonde , but she's dyeing her hair almost everyday with a different shade so i thought i don't have to comment every single time she does it 

" i already told you though , your hair is pretty hyun~ah " 

" i don't really remember that you've ever said such a sweet words " she said rolling her eyes acting sulky

" i expressed it rather than just saying it " i said with a smirk 

she laughed out loud mocking " really ! so you already expressed it ! i wonder when was that exactly ? " she gave me a side glance and shook her head slowly unconvinced 

i leaned towards her to whisper in her ear ! she pushed me away " no whispering " she highlighted 

i gritted my teeth looking at her and shouted " i did admire your hair last night " i couldn't continue my words as i found her hand blocking my mouth vigorously

" are you crazy ? " she mouthed the words frowning , her cheeks flaming with red shade 

" how should i have said it otherwise , if whispering is not allowed " 

" yonghwa ! maintain ! " she gave me a lecturing glance and i giggled non stop 

" hyun~ah , it's too cold here , can i get closer ? " i pleaded with puppy eyes 

" maybe you should button up your shirt instead " she rolled her eyes coldly and i giggled

" i'm coming " i acted like moving toward her yet i didn't intend to 

" try it and see what happens ! " she gave me a threatening glance , pointing a finger 

" i'll try to relax you said ! i knew it was a joke anyway " i faked a sulky baby lips and she laughed , my lips curved into a smile unconsciously as i watched her cute laughing

" what should i drink ? " she looked at the drinks on the table clueless 

i poured her a drink immediately and handed it to her " here " 

she held it and stared at it with suspicious " that wouldn't make me act weird later , right ? " 

" let's hope it will " i said hopefully and she laughed out loud 

yuri and tiffany came later , they said their greetings and sat down beside me casually 

" oh who's the gorgeous girl beside you ? could it be by any chance , our maknae ? " tiffany asked teasing

" unieeeee " seohyun whined in embarrassment 

" that annoying -unnieeeee - , she's juhyun indeed " yuri said acting annoyed  

i used a cheesy tone as i said " isn't she always gorgeous ! "

" awwwwww " tiffany massaged her arms from goosebumps effect 

seohyun cutely flipped her hair acting pretty " yeah , i'm always gorgeous " 

tiffany stared at seohyun annoyed for a moment then quietly took out her phone from her clutch bag ..

" are you interested in a sleep-in pictures of gorgeous seohyun ? " she asked threatening seohyun  

" yeah sure " i nodded as i gave my full attention to tiffany's phone 

" unieeeee , DON'T " we heard a shout and got flustered , however seohyun maintained the distance perfectly and we ended up amazed at her deadly perfect self control level 

i ignored her and calmly asked tiffany " let me see "  

" NOOO " she whined again and tiffany stared at her in confusion 

" she's shouting NO yet she's not coming any closer to stop me ! " tiffany said in disbelief confused  

" she'll never come any closer than this no matter what ! i already tried my luck earlier " i said with a depressed tone as i let out a heavy sigh 

" i understand , she's being cautious " tiffany said nodding in understanding and i nodded back , she continued with bitterness " how boring " 

i nodded at tiffany's words acting depressed 

tiffany suggested seriously " yonghwa , just go and have fun with some other girl for tonight " 

" unnieee , stop it ! " seohyun exclaimed 

" i can't do it " i said firmly to tiffany , and seohyun calmed down assured 

i continued " i'm not that good with english " 

" IS THAT YOUR REASON ! " seohyun shouted and slapped my shoulder seriously , it was hilariously painful so i held back a laugh 

" you don't need that much english , a Hi should be enough to start things out " tiffany discussed seriously 

yuri joined the conversation after locking her phone , directing her words to me " see that red headed girl , i heard her speaking japanese earlier .. " 

yuri pointed at the red haired half-asian girl at the bar wearing a tight silver dress , and i nodded in confirmation 

" she's pretty y too , right yonghwa ? " 

" ah yeah " i nodded in confirmation again , my whole attention still on the red headed girl across the bar .. my jaw dropped in a shock once i got aware that seohyun was the one who asked me the last question and i answered totally wrong !!! 

" wow , he dug his own grave " tiffany said laughing out loud and slapped yuri's hand in excitement

" buin~ah .. " i said with a pleading tone and seohyun ignored me looking away and drank her drink quietly ! 

" yong seobang , which one is minhyukii's real twitter account ? " yuri asked so she could follow minhyuk and i nodded " wait " 

i unlocked my phone , as i glanced at seohyun secretly and she glanced back , however i got minhyuk's account and handed it to yuri 

" ok thanks , got it " yuri smiled as she worked on her phone

" yaah !! aren't you going to follow me back ? " tiffany lectured me 

" i'll just follow juhyun's IG instead if i'm craving to reveal our dating news " i said and tiffany chuckled 

" you both are truly ninja couple ... " tiffany fell silent halfway and stood up suddenly with a lightened face 

" hey ! everyone " nickhun said as he approached us 

tiffany went and hugged him happily , we exchanged greetings and i had no idea when did he make it to NY !  

" when is your korean comeback ? " nickhun asked me while tiffany clang onto his arm intimately 

" next September " 

" and what's the title track about ? " 

" Cinderella " i answered while giving him a cold glance , i knew he was going to make an instant joke about it 

" are you plagiarizing our latest MV ! do you really wish to become a 2PM member that much ? " nickhun exclaimed lecturing me 

" how would i plagiarize an MV ! am i a director !? " i replied to him seriously and he giggled  

" plus , yongie already got a vacant membership waiting for him in SNSD ! " seohyun said as a fact and everyone laughed 

nickhun toned down his laugh and surrounded an arm around tiffany's waist " later guys " he said and took tiffany away 

yuri stood up too " i'll go dance " 

" have fun " seohyun said smiling , and we were left alone once again

" minhyukii and yuri have their own connection now .. so it's okay ...  " i glanced seohyun as i started talking  

" yeah i know ! it has nothing to do with us " she confirmed 

" people find them cute together " seohyun continued and nodded assuring herself as she traced her finger across the glass' edge 

" cuter than yongseo ?! no way " i objected and she chuckled 

" yongseo ! that was long time ago ! now you are just glancing other girls shamelessly when i'm just a seat away from you " 

" maybe i'll behave if you stick next to me " i said and tapped the seat between us signaling to her , i was just provoking her but i knew we shouldn't get too close anyway 

she glanced my hand on the seat

" your hand " she murmured gently frowning as she held my hand and lowered her glance getting a closer look at it 

" that was earlier today , when i was filming " i said casually , it was a small abrasion that i didn't give much thought

she held my hand preciously with both her hands and my heart raced 

" you should have had disinfected it " she said creasing her brows 

" it's nothing " i lowered my tone , i was contented that i finally got her ultimate attention to the extent of her not caring about the people around us anymore 

she raised my hand slowly closer to her lips , and i held my breath wondering if she will print her soft lips next or is she merely taking a closer glance ..

" yonghwa oppa " someone called me and got our attention , it was choa from AOA , yuna and jimini accompanying her

that must have been painful , that's what i thought as i intensely glanced the wound on his hand .. 

but then my heart warmed up as i held his hand preciously , it has been a while since i held his hand ..
my fingers' tips the roughness of his palm so i was instantly reminded about how hard is he practicing these days , the thought of him being a hard working man ; fluttered my heart 

unconsciously i got closer to his hand , i nearly printed my lips over his wound when ...

" yonghwa oppa ! " i almost had a heart attack when i heard choa calling for yonghwa's attention ..

i let go of his hand immediately and picked up my drink , i could hear my heart throbbing in my ear louder than the music 

" hey ! " yonghwa greeted them smiling 

choa , jimini and yuna bowed to me and i bowed back 

yonghwa started talking " so you came after all , i thought you'll get tired from the long trip and all" 

" eeeeh no way we would waste a night at NY " choa said 

" yeah we were too excited to sleep " yuna added as she swung her body to the music excited

i had a wide smile on my face , while mentally screaming - thanks for pointing out to yonghwa what kind of ajumma i am - , i was just the type to waste a date in a foreign country to get a sleep 

jimin talked to yonghwa with an awkward smile as she glanced at me " since we're not close to anyone here except you , so we ended up rushing to you  " 

" have a seat please ! " it was me who initiated such a reckless invitation

" unnie is really kind hearted " jimin exclaimed happily and they indeed sat down 

" great " yonghwa murmured as he secretly gave me a glare 

i smiled at him nodding accepting his compliment ..

yuna started talking " yonghwa oppa , can you recommend me places in NYC ? looks like you had fun with the few days you spent here " 

" i don't know , i just went wherever my steps took me " yonghwa said

" that sounds fun ! " she exclaimed excited giving him a sparkling interested glance

i interrupted the sparks in the air as i joined the conversation " hakyeon-ssi was talking earlier about museums and art galleries around here , so i wonder if you would enjoy his recommendations too ! " 

she gave a cute laugh " ah museums !!! " 

jimin added pointing at yuna " yeah maybe you should start with museums if you want to get smarter " 

" unnie !!! i already finished school so it's my time to have fun in life " yuna said nagging jimin

" hyejeong is the one who's having fun here , i'm jealous " choa said pointing at hyejong across the bar , i glanced that direction and saw hyejong clinging intimately onto some man she's sitting with 

" wow her boyfriend made it here to New York " jimin said in admiration 

i was lost watching hayjeong couple acting lovey dovey and displaying affection in public  , they even ended up sharing a passionate kiss 

" even kissing !! " my tongue slipped in a shock 

" yeah , since they're dating ! " yuna said with disbelief mocking my slow thinking 

" ah right " i nodded as i secretly glanced yonghwa who calmly drank his drink 

" yonghwa oppa , your hand ! " choa exclaimed worried as she reached for his hand

" it's nothing " he denied

that scene looks familiar .. 

however choa kept on flipping and holding his hand " that looks painful " she said with agony and i seriously hated the attention she gave to my man , that's exactly what i did earlier as his girlfriend .. 

" why didn't you apply a band-aid right away " choa said frowning 

" for the filming's sake " yonghwa replied looking at me  

yuna finished me off when she said her words " i got a band-aid but it's in my hotel room , what to do !! " she pouted and her exaggerated worried expression got on my nerves  

" don't worry dear , i'm sure he'll never die from such a small scratch " i said assuring her with a mean tone 

everyone froze looking at me , before yonghwa laughs it out and i faked a laugh too to cover up the mess i had put myself into , later everyone faked a smile as if they finally got the sick joke

however i could sense it from their eyes , they thought i'm cold and wondered why would yonghwa fall for a heartless girl like me , betting on their life that they could give yonghwa the love he really deserves if they were in my place instead of me 

" any special recommendations Dr.hyun ? " yonghwa asked staring at me in admiration and smiling sweetly , i could hear the girls flipping tables while watching his sweetness .. 

i flashed him a playful smile " who knows ! "

the girls ignored us and started busying themselves with a variety of topics .. 

yonghwa's hand approached mine under the table , i held his hand and interlaced our fingers together , i loved how right it felt , i wriggled our hands countlessly signaling to him how much i missed his touch and his lips smiled endlessly .. 

" i wonder if we should try out WGM too " jimin said seriously

" now you sound as my dongsaengs " yonghwa said mocking

choa thought about it " it's too awkward for me ! i can't do it "  

" i don't think i will be able to fall for someone unless he's funny and hard working just like yonghwa oppa " yuna said in admiration 

" seriously yonghwa oppa was so sweet there , i watched it twice " jimin said with a jealous pout 

yonghwa denied with a shy smirk ! 

" yeah , he was so lovely back then " i highlighted irritated and yonghwa chuckled again , however i got all kinds of mean glares from his fangirls 

i looked away letting out a heavy sigh , i eventually got exhausted with the mind game competition over my own boyfriend ! i couldn't continue acting mean when yonghwa was just holding my hand sweetly and turning out my harsh words into jokes  

i tightened my grip over his hand as i talked " back then i just thought he was a sweet charming man , he made me comfortable and i thought that's all what i've ever wanted from a man " 

i got everyone attention , the music went mute in my ears and i couldn't hear anything except my voice , i continued " however yonghwa had much more than whatever i asked for in a man ! whenever you're with him he'll make sure you shine brightly as a star in the dark , he'll entrap you with his loving glance in a world made just for two even if the whole world were watching , he's sweet enough to admire your flaws , patient enough to listen to your non sense insecurities and he'll just tell you the words you were craving to hear .. those little and major traits about him will get you hooked and you'll never get satisfied by any other man except him " 

i ended my speech with flaming cheeks , although i wanted to hide his good points selfishly from his fangirls till the end but it was the least i could do for him - telling the truth-

" yeah ! " choa nodded , " he's just that kind of man "

yuna passed her fingers in her hair casually " yonghwa oppa is always there for everyone , we call him when we get depressed and he'll just do magic ! "

" magic ! " i threw yonghwa a side glare and squeezed his hand painfully , he was totally into the girls' speech and ignored me

" he's not called -warm oppa -for nothing , i guess " i said with a mocking smirk 

the hyejong couple passed by us to the dancing ring , at first watching them was my only way to relieve my builded pressure , but later they got everyone attention by their intimate dancing 

" i want to dance too " yuna said with a sulky lips as her glance was fixed on the couple 

i gritted my teeth afraid she might make a move on yonghwa next , and i bet the warm oppa will never reject a colleague's offer .. especially a cute colleague's offer 

i traced my other hand along yonghwa's arm , getting closer and asking him " would you like to dance ? " 

he held my gaze for a moment thinking about it 

" sounds good , but it's quite intimate you know " he said seriously and i was snapped back to reality , what am i trying to do to yonghwa's career just because i got a little insecure 

" right ! , next time let's do it " i said smiling declining the reckless idea and he nodded 

i got quite depressed by the moment , and i wondered why are we even here ! 

neither of us was truly comfortable just for the mere fact of us being together , i bet he would have had more fun without me around ..

" i'll go to the restroom " i told him and he nodded ..

i washed my hands while staring at my reflection in the mirror , i was confident that i'm pretty , got a gorgeous body , a sharp personality too - not sure if the later was a good point though - 

but the girls around yonghwa are pretty and cute too , have model bodies and personalities , they're attractive even for me as a girl .. 

i wonder if he ever starts comparing me to them .. if he ever thought of a relationship with someone else .. someone who could love him more openly , i wonder if my cautiousness is suffocating him .. 

i re-touched my make up and took a deep breath , it was okay because i trust him .. 

i opened the restroom door and went out into the corridor , i widened my eyes when it fell on yonghwa who was just waiting there for me .. 

" you took too long there , i thought you ran away or something " yonghwa said as he approached me with a smile and i checked out the corridor with my glance , there were some foreign people but no one i could identify 

" were you secretly hoping for me to run away ? " i asked raising a brow

" why would i !? " he raised his eyebrows acting clueless

" for you to relax with your fangirls " i gritted the words as i shifted my glance away 

" as expected from uri smart hyun ~ah " he said and held my hand , i tried to escape his hand but he just secured it tightly in his grip 

he continued " her brain stops working whenever she gets jealous " 

" me ! jealous ! " i opened my mouth in a shock and let out a mocking laugh  , " i didn't even consider it " i continued seriously 

" right " he said teasing 

i frowned at him " are you enjoying this ! " 

" i'm enjoying this indeed " he said smiling while his hand worked on my hair , he brought - handful amount of my hair to the front covering my chest 

i bit my lip shyly when i got - the little girl being prepared by her parent for school - feeling 

" let's go " he said seriously and pulled my hand toward the back exit 

" eh where are we going ! " i held his arm as i stopped him 

" don't know " he said casually 

" hey yongie , what are you up to ? " i asked suspicious  narrowing my eyes 

he frowned in confusion then he said " if we're spending time together we should do it the right way , having fun and being ourselves is the least we could do , so why are we here wasting our time !  " 

he continued " i've got plenty of chances to brag about my fangirls later , and my whole life to get irritated over your sticky fanboys , but we're not here miles away from home just to do that , right ? " 

i stared at him for a moment and ended up smiling and nodding vigorously 

" so let's escape this pitiful place for now " he said as he walked toward the exit , and i glanced my watch quickly which showed a 11:40 p.m 

" but yongie , it's NEWYORK ! and it's past 11 p.m now ! i don't think it's safe out there " i said stopping him again 

he turned around and looked at me and thought about it deeply before he says " i bet you watched a lot of non sense movies " 

i pouted my lips unconvinced " but .. " 

" don't worry , we'll make it back to the hotel alive " he said mocking and i chuckled 

" ok , let's go !! " i said excited and tightened my grip over his hand , he smiled back at me ..

yonghwa lowered his cap over his head as a disguise then we went out and walked at the street few steps ..

the street was loaded with bars and night clubs in every corner .. 
it wasn't literally crowded with people but the few people who hanged out there were very unique ! , however i wasn't comfortable walking around as i felt men' glances on my body , it was a bad idea wearing such a tight dress and showing off a lot of skin after all 

i clutched my other hand around yonghwa's arm hiding behind him for security and covering ..

" i think it's better to call a cab " yonghwa said awkwardly 

" yeah , i think so " 

we called for a cab and got inside the car , both of us letting out a heavy sigh , that was scary indeed 

yonghwa looked at me from head to toe " first we need to change your outfit , so we could blend into the streets comfortably " 

" you're right " i nodded 

yonghwa talked to the driver " go to Chanel store ? " 

" sir , it's midnight soon ! high society boutiques close their doors by 7:00 p.m " the driver said irritated 

i could tell from yonghwa's frown that he understood the driver talk 

i talked this time " are there any other stores
