Every inch of my body hurts, my chest felt so heavy that I’m having a hard time to breathe. Strikes of thunders deafened my ears as the rain started pouring.

She opened as if she wanted to say something but decided not to. I looked at her but she kept avoiding my eyes.

Funny that the teardrops felt so warm on my cheeks, I can’t see clearly anymore, the mix of my tears and the rain blocked my view. I bit my lip.

Amber looked at me with saddened eyes, “Krys…” lifted her hand and tried to wipe my tears away.

I swatted her hand, got up on my feet and walked backward.
