❝Hello Cannes;

                                  - first day in Cannes -

Taemin arrived at his hotel that he'll be staying at for 6 days , 4 points by Sheraton and how great and beautiful it looks as he stepped in the hotel lobby with his luggage in his hand , pulling it with him to the check in counter. Minho is staying at the other hotel just few blocks away from his place and they will meet up at 1030 for a late dinner. 

"check in sir?" the receptionist asked 

"yes" he nods as he placed his passport on the counter together with his check in details . 

He look around , admired the interior of this hotel . he honestly couldn't wait for his adventure in Cannes and he will definitely write it all down , his memories and everything in his precious journal. 

"okay this is your room key , level 13 , number 1301" she said as she give him the room key together with his passport . 

"thank you" he take it from the counter and walk away to the huge lobby lounge . He took out his camera and take few snaps of the interior and the people who's having fun at the lounge. he smile 

"may i help you with your baggage sir?" the butler asked 

"oh no it's fine. mind if i ask , where can i get the best steak or any food around here .." 

"for tonight sir?" 

"yes tonight , are the restaurants all open at this hour?" 

The butler excused himself for a moment as he run to his desk , taking some templates and came back to him . 

"here's some suggestions , in case if you needed them . if you want to have a nice steak or our food . you're lucky enough because the place is just 10 minutes away from our hotel" 

"by feet?" he asked as he take the templates from the butler's hands . 

The butler nods .

"sweet" he said as he got into his room , a huge bed greeted him with a super large bathroom at the other side , he call it a glass bathroom since most of the partitions in the bathroom are glass . 

The butler helped him with the luggage and he thanked him before giving a small tip for him. That bed looking so tempting to him right now , and honestly jetlag has taken over him ever since he got to this hotel , with the sweet scent in this room , he couldn't fight it honestly . 

His phone rang and reads Minho's name on the screen. he pick it up 

-so , you're going out or not?-

-i don't know , jetlag has taken over my body- Minho laughs 

-why don't we head for a nice breakfast tomorrow , by the beach- Minho suggested . 

-sounds great but i'm not going to promise you that i'll be up at 7 or 8 in the morning- he chuckle a bit . 

-alright then. sleep well captain- 

He chuckle after he ended the call . looking outside the window and the view just blew his mind . even though he barely see the beach , but the lights from every corner and the little party that's been held few block away from his hotel makes it even look more lively at night. 

He take a sit at the study desk , taking his bag closer and take out his travel journal , taking out his passport that has the boarding pass slid in between the pages. He tapped the boarding pass on the blank page with the word Cannes on the top . 

Arrived in Cannes . the journey went all smooth with no serious turbulence. A day in Cannes starts tomorrow ! 

He took out his phone and type a text 

-mom , i'm in Cannes , safe and sound . will find something good for you :) x-

"how's the flight going honey?" a soothing voice on the other line gives a sweet smile on Minho's face 

"it was good. we did not expect it to be that great tho. as always , Taemin did a great job with the landing" he said received a soft chuckle

He misses his wife everytime he fly , but Soojung always supported him even though there's a time he actually couldn't take his job because he kept going away , leaving his wife alone . and there's a time where his wife hurted herself whilst he was away and he almost wanted to come back as soon as he touched down

He met his wife 4 years ago  and they got married early last year when both of them had decided that it was their time to tie the knot , being together for 3 years is more than enough when they found themselves linked to each other , having the greatest time together without having too much arguements and they don't want to take it any longer , being in love after marriage is much better , that is what Soojung said to him 

That is the day he had planned to propose to her .

He couldn't explain how great he felt when he first met Soojung in Greece. they were a total stranger and how he accidentally bumped into her whilst he's trying to take the nice view and Soojung almost fell down from the stairs . Their eyes met when he got hold her wrist , prevent her from falling down . 

There's a slight blush on her face when their eyes met .

And of course , him being such a gentleman , he helped her when he realised she got a slight cut on her knee. That is the moment when they had a little talk and little talk turns into a long conversation until that time when h
