Feet tapping on the floor in the airplane as she waits for the plane to land . she's 10 hours away from yesterday after the last call she had with Taemin and that sudden surprise really made her heart pounding hard. She knows everything is not okay , the way Minho's voice talk to her , she knows that he's trembling 

and she heard Taemin's voice at the back and his mother's crying voice. she refused to think that his father is no longer here with them , she refused to say that because she wanted the best for her guy , for his family.

The plane is landing and she heave a sigh of relief after a long flight , she's finally here and she will head straight to Taemin's parents house because that's where they all now even though it's 6pm in the evening. Minho told her they will be there at his house and Taemin doesn't know that she's coming back because he was so busy . 

Jinri didn't complain because obviously his family needs him for than she need him. 

Taking off her seatbelt , she got up first and take her hand carry bag on the top and waited as the pilot park the airplane to their gate. Obviously she could not wait any longer and she still hoping for the best , a relief news about his father. 

She waited right in front of the air crews as they then open the aircraft door slowly and thanked her . she rushed out from the gate towards her luggage carousel. Letting out a groan when her luggage is not even out yet and her uber is waiting outside the airport to get her to Southlea 

Ever since she boarding the plane , she never call nor text Taemin because she knows that even though he wanted her to be there , he will still be mad that she cut her job . obviously she go everywhere , travelling around the world is actually for her job and she can't simply cut her schedule . but at this point , at this state . this is an emergency . Travel Magazine can totally give her days off . 

Finally her luggage is out and she quickly take it with her and rush towards the arrival gate . Seeing her name on a piece of paper from her uber driver , she quickly tell him that she needs to be quick because Southlea takes probably an hour or 2 to get there if the traffic is bad

"is the traffic okay tonight?" she asked as she get into the uber. "there is a slight traffic jam 1km from here, but i'll try my best to get you there" said the driver before dashing off from the airport . 

It took her an hour to get to his parents' house and the taxi stops before a range rover car which she knows that it belongs to Taemin. she felt relief that he's here because she's afraid that if she get here and he's not even at his parents' house. she paid the uber and get out from the taxi with her huge luggage next to her . 

Taking a long breath before making a step forward but she stops as she look down to her feet . She knows something's not right. The house is bright yet there's no sound of 'excitement' or 'happy' ones like the one she used to hear everytime she got here. She look up when she heard a loud shreeking noise from her front 

To see him walking out from the house in his jumper , walking down the deck towards the bench that's facing the lake back there. Jinri saw the look on his face and it made her heart crush into pieces because that look explains everything. his body language speaks everything and she got the answer right away. 

his dad is gone

She hates the fact that she didn't get the chance to say goodbye or meet him on his last day . she hates the fact that she didn't get the chance to talk to him and hates the fact that no one will listen to her like his dad . because everytime she sit down with the old man , she listen and talk back to her just like how her late father used to do . 

And now she'd lost two incredible fathers . 

Taemin stops before the bench and look up when he thought he saw something, his eyes met Jinri's who is still standing there with her hand on her luggage . she saw his feature changes when he saw her there . there's surprised and yet there's a little glimpse of sadness on his face. Jinri let go of her luggage and put down her bag as she rush towards the house deck 

Walking up the stairs and stand few steps away from him. 

"Taemin.." she utter out when she saw his eyes fill with tears and this is her first time seeing him like this. "Taemin i'm sorry" but he just shake his head a little and look down to his feet. Jinri walk towards him and take him into a warm hug . he don't cry. but there's tears filling in his eyes . 

"Taemin?" a voice came from the back and Jinri look from her shoulder to see his mother coming out from the house , looking for her son. she gasp a little to see Jinri here and Taemin turning around after he pull off the hug as he trying to hide it from his mother . the fact that he's still having tears in his eyes when he clearly said to his mother that he's all fine . 

"when did you get here?" she asked and Jinri walk towards her , looking back at Taemin who's giving them his back and hands on the handrail on the deck. a long sigh was heard from him but she didn't ask more. "just now. i'm sorry i couldn't be here during the fun-" "it's all good Jinri. do not worry" 

although she's giving her that sweet smile that all mothers give to their children , Jinri knows that she's still not okay that the fact her husband is no longer around to make her smile or laugh like she used to. "are you hungry? do you want to eat anything?" she asked but Jinri shake her head to her 

"are you okay?" she asked and Taemin's mother just smile and nods "i am. i know he want me to smile and not to be sad all the time" she said and look to her back to see Taemin who's still giving them his back . Jinri look at him as he breathe in and out , taking the fresh air and hug himself before turning around. He didn't say anything as he walk passed them and down the stairs to get Jinri's luggage and bag that's on the ground and
