❝A short meet up;

                                  - but it's a lovely one -

Jinri wake up with bright red blush on her cheeks when the memories from last night came in her mind. She admit it that it's not what she expected from her own self to do such things. though she knows that he wanted to kiss her before , but he didn't because of her stupid alarm . 

Her door bell rings and she knows it's Katie because she told her that she wanna come for a visit before they head off to their family vacation , for probably 2 weeks . Katie wanted to come because she don't want Jinri to feel kind of lonely when they leave , the fact that she don't have much friend to talk with , she always come back to Katie . 

But there's one thing she don't know that Jinri haven't told her , she met a new great friend and it's Soojung. they did exchange their numbers and hoping for a hang out sometimes . Still in her nightware , she rush to the entrace door to open it for Katie

"it's almost 10 you lazy bum , don't you have any work to do?" she get inside making Jinri roll her eyes and sigh

"i got home pretty late last night.. no i don't . that's the reason why i'm still in bed" she said and sit on the comfy sofa in her living room

"why did you come late? wait!" she gasped when she remember that 'dinner date' Jinri told her 

"yeah .. that dinner" she sigh as she lay her back on the sofa . 

Katie got up and sit on the same sofa as her and gently pushed her legs away , patted her thighs 

"come on , what happened?" Jinri look down to her sister in law , pout a little . 

She's hesitated to talk about it , but she really really wanna let it all out , that embarrassing yet sweet [for her] moment kept replaying in her mind and she need to let it all out . Katie keep patting her legs and begging like a little girl , Jinri groan but laughing at the same time

"okay okay ... we had the dinner ,we talked and he told me i look beautiful , he even stuttered which was the funniest and i met new friend and i kind of kiss his cheek!" she talk in one breath making Katie drop her jaw 

"i .. i don't think i get ... the last part" she said 

Jinri know she's joking , that look on her face is too obvious. she wanted to hear it again because of the word Kiss . Honestly, Katie did hear the last part , the word kiss really caught her attention though Jinri were talking in one breath and it was super fast

"i .. kiss him .." Katie gasped 

"just the cheek! not lips!" she cover her face with the pillow when she feel her burning cheeks.

"what did he say?" Katie asked

"nothing... but he was smiling" Jinr cupped her face and cover it with her palms . 

The memories kept replaying in her head and the thought of texting him right now is in her mind. but worried plus kind of shy to text him first after what she had given him last night. She really did took it to the next level , but she realise that it was all wrong , for her she thought it was a bad move.

The fact that he didn't text her right after he drop her off made her think that he don't have anything interest on her , compared to her . He doesn't like it ? she thought. 

"maybe you should just text him" suggested Katie 

"no . of course not. i don't want to make myself look desperate!" Katie laughs whilst patting her lap 

"well .. if you miss him .. you should" she got up from her seat to the kitchen leaving Jinri blushing

"new destination?" asked Soojung as she sit on the couch next to Minho who just end his call . 

"hm . yeah , i'm going with Taemin to Melbourne for 4 days . this time , it's real" Soojung laughs before resting her head on his shoulder 

"4 days huh.. hm" she hum , thinking of what she going to do for the rest 4 days . 

Probably head back to her parents' house but that'd be so boring . She'd spend most of her days in the house because of her mother . she got so worried everytime Soojung tried to do some work or going out . it's her first grandchild , of course she's worried. 

"oh you can go and hang out with Taemin's girlfriend" said Minho making Soojung eyes widened

"his girlfriend? already!?" Minho laughs at his wife's funny look 

"no , but they do look like a couple aren't they?" Soojung smile whilst nodding her head . 

It's true , Soojung even thought they're already together when she first met Jinri during that night. the fact that Taemin really look at her like he's looking at his precious girl really did make Soojung think that Jinri is actually Taemin's girlfriend. And yes the way he talk to her , how soft and sweet it was. 

"yeah.. well yeah maybe i can call and make a plan with her , if she's not that busy" 

Jinri told Soojung that she's a furniture designer , just like what she'd told Taemin. yes she felt bad for lying but the thought of telling them now is never in her mind. maybe she will , but maybe she won't.. she's not sure about it yet. 

"so when will you leave?" she look at her husband as her hands rubbing on her baby bump . 

Minho smile when he turn around to look at his wife , he caress her hair before looking down to her baby bump. it grew even bigger now and how excited he is to finally see his first child . 

"tomorrow morning" 

"early morning?" she look up to her left , Minho nods . 

"you know what i wanna do?" she said with a cheeky smile on her face,  Minho chuckle a little , knowing how cheeky she'd get. 

"what?" there's smile on his face as he tuck her hair behind her ear . 

Soojung smile a little before getting up , getting closer to her husband and whispered something to his ear

Katie just left the house after the long lunch talk , she even cooked their lunch because Jinri doesn't feel like doing anything in the kitchen. Sometimes she gets too lazy that really irritates Katie , but that's just her . 

And now she's all alone and how fast the time flies , it feels like it's just 12 in the afternoon but she's wrong , it's almost 4pm. She got a meeting tomorrow morning and they'll probably ask her to go somewhere else again. and of course she wouldn't mind about it , she'd done this for the millionth time. 

Looking down to her phone , and heave a sigh.

"maybe what i did last night was a mistake , i shouldn't have done it" she murmured to herself 

"why are you so stupid! ergh" she lay back on her couch and heave another sigh . suddenly her phone ring make her shot up

She look down to her phone to look at the text notification . 

"it's him.." she quickly unlock her phone and read the content

She replied back , still couldn't believe that he actually texted her first. the thought of him texting her was definitely not in her mind even though she really wanted him to text first . and he did! Jinri just couldn't stop smiling whilst staring blankly at her phone. 

Her phone ding once again 

"he's here? but why?" 

Summerhill sometimes took more than 20-30 minutes to get here , and she knows he doesn't have any schedule to fly , that's what he told her before. 

"what is he doing here? there's nothing much here in Crystalmill" she said to herself . well for her , for Taemin Crystalmill is way better than Summerhill.
