The Forty-Sixth Tale

I couldn't remember much. Only a bright flash followed by silence. My ears tingled and everything went slow. I think I saw Jaebeom Hyung. But everything was either blurry or white. I heard the faint sound of sirens and I think I tried to get up. I couldn't move. 

"Jackson!" Jaebeom Hyung? " Jackson! Yah, Jackson Wang!" My chest ached horribly as I took a breath in. "Jackson, can you hear me?" I nodded weakly and blinked several times. My vision was slowly coming back and I could see rumble, ruins everywhere. 

The building had collapsed and dust covered the whole area. Looking up at Jaebeom, I struggled to sit up. A stabbing feeling caught me in my stomach. I glanced down at my chest and my eyes widened at the sight. 

Blood. 

I looked over at Jaebeom Hyung. By now my vision had returned entirely. 

I wasn't the only one who was wounded. I leant over and grasped onto Jaebeom's tainted shirt. "Hyung..." He smiled and my head. In the most soothing voice he spoke to me. "It's okay Jackson, help will be here soon." 

Jaebeom's injuries were worse than mine. You could just by looking at them. I could never imagine the pain he suffered. He was right though, help did come. People wearing red rushed to aid the once stuck under the rubble. They ran all over the place, but no one came for us. 

I clutched onto Jaebeom's shirt tightly. I was so scared. Scared; I didn't know what was happening. Scared; I was in so much pain. Scared; Hyung was hurting too.  

I screamed out for help, but my voice came out as whimpers. I could feel Jaebeom's hand still calming my head. It began slowing down. 

That's all I remember before blacking out.  

It's been seven years since the accident. And yet..

I still miss him so much.
