The Second Tale 

The world was falling apart.

Countries had stopped dispatching their troops; they weren't of use anymore.

Nuclear weapons were launched in their place, killing hundreds and thousands of people.

Towns, cities and villages, where all isolated—abandoned. Dead.

She cried silently as she hugged onto him tight, burying her face far into his chest.

They couldn't escape. They were both too late.

Himchan blinked the tears away.

They were going to die in a few minutes.

They lost all hope of surviving. 

They lost all hope of living.

But everything was going to be alright, he reassured himself, because a more proper life was waiting patiently for them on the other side.

Everything was going to be alright.

They will be together...
