The Lonely CrabThe Tenth Tale
He sat on his desk. The room was quiet. The students could only hear the scribbles of the chalk on the board.
But he was different. He heard more. He saw more.
Hoya had his head down. He knew that they were there. They wouldn't leave; like a dog to its owner.
Hoya looked up at the board, then hastily looked down again. They were here. At least three.
Hoya sighed. "Please, leave." He mumbled to himself arousing other students around him.
He continued on. "I said, leave now, please!" The teacher turned around.
"Did you say something, Mr. Lee?" Hoya stared at his notebook.
"Leave!! Don't you know what that means?!" Hoya shut his eyes tightly.
The teacher gasped. "I beg your pardon?!"
"No! Stop it!! Leave me alone!!" Hoya abruptly stood up.
He was wrong. There were at least eight. His eyes were wide.
Spirits. Ghosts. Dead people.
"Mr. Lee, whatever is the matter?!?!"
"Just leave me alone!!!" Hoya ran out of the class. Eight shadows followed him.
