Chapter 6

I awoke to the sound of my cell ringing in my ear.

"Hello."

"Minzy get to the hospital now!"

I sat up straight at the sound of Dara's frantic voice.

"Whats happening?"

"The Vice Presidents dead. Hurry." She hung up the phone without saying anything more. 

I glanced at the time on my screens display. 4am. I had just gotten home three hours ago.

I got out of bed and hurriedly threw some clothes on. I was ready and out the door in 10 minutes.

I was calling the cab before I even got outside. I really needed to get a car.

The ride to the hospital was agonizing as I racked my brain on what could have happened. He was stable. He was in one of the best hospitals in Seoul and he had an armed guard. What could have possibly gone wrong?

I ran into the hospital and took the elevator up to the VP's floor. A guard was standing there as soon as the elevator doors opened. 

"ID?" He asked.

I showed him my badge and walked around him. The floor was dessrted. At the end of the hall infront of The VP's room door a body laid on the floor with a white sheet covering it. That must be the card. My hands clenched into a fist as I stepped over it and entered the room.

CL, Dara, and Congressman Lee was gathered around The Vice President's bed.

I walked over to stand beside them. The Vice presidents eyes were closed and his skin had that ashen gray look that dead people get after an hour or so.

"How?" I asked no one in paticular.

"Someone disabled the security cameras. It seems Officer Shin and The Vice President was injected with a substance that killed them. Someone obviously didnt want him speaking." Dara said.

Nothing in this operation was going right. We all continued to stand there looking at his dead body. I think we were all in disblief that he was actually dead. That
