“______-shi, you should get up now.”  My mom said. I was still sleeping and I don’t want to wake up. “Eomma, wae? It’s so early in the morning.” I mumbled. “Ani, you should get up now. Because I have a surprise for you. It’s waiting downstairs.” “Surprise? What surprise?” I asked as I got up from my bed. “Are you that Excited, huh?” My mom chuckled. “Oh hey yo  ___-shi.” Kyuhyun waved  as he went inside my room. I bowed at him.

“Come on, _____-shi.” Mom held my wrist and we went downstairs. “Ta-da!” She then pointed at the box. “What’s that?” Kyuhyun followed us. “Can I open it?” I asked.

“Omo,it’s beautiful.” I gasped as I saw the gown. “Did you like it?  Your appa and I bought this for you. And wait, there are 2 more gowns there.” She pointed at the two  boxes.  “Seems like eomma prepared a lot of gowns for you.” Kyuhyun smiled. I opened the two remaining boxes, and my jaw dropped when I saw it.

“Wow, eomma, thank you for these beautiful dresses.” I hugged her. “Chinmanaeyo, sweetie, I bought these because I know  these are what you’ll need for tonight’s pageant.” She said as she hugged me back. “Oh, ____-shi, what time will the pageant strart?” Kyuhyun asked me. “Ah, It’ll start at exactly 6:30 pm.”  “So, you have to prepare now.” Kyuhyun said. “Your brother is right, you should prepare.” Eomma said. “So, what will I do, eomma?” I asked her. “Just go and take a shower and I’ll tell you later, Ok? Oh, and wear a dress.” Eomma said.

After  taking a bath, I went to my closet and search for a nice dress. “Hmmm, I guess I’ll just wear this.”

“Are you ready?” eomma asked as she saw me. “ Neh, eomma, but, where are we going?”  “We’ll go to the salon.” She smiled at me. “And I’ll be your driver.” Kyuhyun said as he walked towards us. I’m really thankful because God gave me a very caring eomma now, well, even if she’s not my real mother, he does take care of me, and it’s a relief to know that Kyuhyun is getting along with me now.

“Kaja.” Eomma said as we got in the car. After a 30-minute drive, we stopped at a salon.  This salon is really beautiful, unlike  other salons that I’ve seen before.
