A week or two went by after the situation with Naeun. Everything was going along pretty great. Minzy, Kai, Sehun, and Soojung would go out each week on Friday, either for pizza, bowling, or the movies. Occasionally they'd go to each other's houses to eat—guess what? Pizza!
Of course, they end up having pizza no matter what they did. As the following weeks flew by, Minzy was really happy with her relationship with her friends and her boyfriend. She was happy she ended up with Jongin, because she didn't know what she'd do if she hadn't. If someone told her three months ago she would be the girlfriend of Kim Jongin, she'd hit them upside the head. Everything was perfect, but something felt off… "Hey, has anyone seen Naeun lately?" Jinri casually blurted at lunch. Minzy nearly choked on her turkey sandwich. "What?" That was it. "Has anyone seen—" "We know what you said, Jinri," Sehun rebuked. "Well, it's been a long time since she's been in school," Jinri stated. "This isn't like her." "Maybe she's busy in' someone's or something," Soojung spat. Minzy nudged Soojung's arm as hard as she could. "Soojung!" Soojung flinched rather nervously "What? She probably is!" she replied, rubbing her aching arm. *What COULD Naeun be up to?* Minzy thought to herself. *There's no way she could be sick for this long unless she has something serious.* Jongin looked like he wanted to crawl in a hole and never come out at the thought of Naeun. "The school is better without that psychopath." "Agreed," Sehun stated with a mouthful of potato chips. Soojung frowned. "I really hope she isn't doing anything…" "Like what?" Jinri asked. Soojung chugged the last bit of her water. "Minzy, Jinri, come to the bathroom with me. We need to talk." Minzy's stomach flip-flopped. "Okay." "What's so important you have to say that you have to go to the bathroom with just them?" Jongin wondered, slightly offended for being left out. "Girl stuff, you don't wanna know," Soojung replied as she dragged Minzy and Jinri to the bathroom. Once the trio arrived to the ladies' room, Soojung crinkled her nose from the smell, as did Minzy & Jinri. "I didn't want to say this in front of Jongin," Soojung explained, "he'd be too upset." "Okay, what's wrong?" Minzy asked anxiously. Soojung sighed. "Naeun… she's been texting me the past few days." She pulled out her glittery iPhone and looked through her messages. "She's been acting… strange." Soojung handed her phone to Jinri. Jinri held Soojung's phone as Minzy read over her shoulder. "Oh my god…" Jinri breathed. "Minzy, can you believe this?" "No…" Minzy whispered, anger boiling up her blood. Naeun: Soojung tell me where Minzy lives. Soojung: Why do you need to know? Naeun: I need to ask her for help on math assignment. Soojung: Why don't you just ask her yourself? Naeun: She's mad at me for sleeping with Jongin-oppa. Soojung: Don't call him that, he's Minzy's boyfriend, not yours. Naeun: Not for long. Soojung: What? Naeun: Nothing. Soojung: If you need help on
