Gong Minzy was always a shy girl. Not very popular, but she had a good group of friends and didn't want it to change: until high school, when Minzy had none of her friends in her any of her classes and is forced to make new friends. But it doesn't matter to Minzy; she wants to do well without distractions.

Kim Jongin was somewhat popular; only for his looks. He's also known for getting on people's  nerves sometimes. He's been through a lot in his life, and all he wants is someone special in his life.

When Jongin laid eyes on Minzy for the first time, he fell for her instantly. As for Minzy, well… she thinks otherwise.

When Minzy learns about Jongin's past, she feels sympathetic and guilty. She decides to give Jongin a chance, but when rumors spread, Minzy can't take it. She would hate to break his heart, but she wants to go with her own.
