Angel Warriors
Runaway Angel
“Daehyun oppa, where are we going?” Dahee asked as she looked around.
Daehyun shrugged, “I don’t know but we need to find a shop that sells mittens. I don’t want your hands to freeze.”
“But how are my hands going to freeze when you’re holding them?” The angel questioned.
Daehyun blinked then looked down at their hands that were still connected. Heat rushed into his cheeks as he cleared his throat.
“They’ll get cold when I’m not holding them so you need to be prepared for that.” Daehyun stated.
“Even when you’re not here and I’m with the others, I could hold their hand and keep my hand warm too.” She argued.
Hearing that, Daehyun felt a pang in his heart. He didn’t want any of his other members holding her hand like he was at the moment. He wanted to be the only one who was able to hold her hand like that.
“No, you can’t have the others hold your hand. Only I can.” He blurted.
Dahee blinked at him in surprise. She had no expected for Daehyun to say something like that.
Daehyun finally realized what he had just said. "Uh, what I mean is that..."
The angel let out a small laugh, "Daehyun oppa, it's okay. I understand."
The idol turned to the angel and stared at her, "You do?"
"I'm not sure but I won't hold any of the others hands besides yours if that's what you want." She smiled softly.
Daehyun felt his heart flutter when she said those words. He didn't know why he had said such a thig earlier, but he certainly wasn't regretting it.
"Thank you Dahee." Daehyun smiled.
Dahee giggled, "You're welcome Daehyun oppa."
"Should we keep going?" Daehyun asked.
Dahee nodded.
"Mark, there are so many people here. How are we supposed to find Princess Dahee in this huge crowd?" JB asked.
Mark shook his head, "I don't know but just look for her. I have this feeling that she's here."
"Are you sure?" Youngjae asked.
Mark nodded, "I'm sure. I was right when we went to the mall and now here."
"So we're going to have to spilt up again?" Jackson asked.
"Yes. That's the only way we can look for Princess Dahee." Mark replied.
"And you're going alone, right?" BamBam asked.
Mark looked at the six angel warriors and nodded.
"Alright, we'll call when we fid a trace of Princess Dahee." Yugyeom stated.
Mark smiled, "Thanks guys."
"What are friends for Mark?" JR chuckled.
"We better get started. If not, we might not be able to find Princess Dahee." Jackson ushered.
"How about this one? It's cream and red with a heart on it." Daehyun picked up the pair of mitten for the angel to see.
Dahee nodded her head, "It's nice, don't you think so?"
Daehyun laughed, "Of course. I think it suits you."
The angel looked at the mittens, "You think so?"
Daehyun nodded, "I do."
"Miss, you should listen to your boyfriend. They match you." The owner beamed.
Daehyun's ears turned red hearing the word 'boyfriend'.
Dahee blinked at the owner, "Boyfriend?"
The older man nodded and pointed to Daehyun, "Your lover here."
Dahee turned to Daehyun and her cheeks immediately tinted pink.
The owner laughed seeing how shy both Dahee and Daehyun were. "Young man, are you going to buy those mittens for your girlfriend?" He asked.
Daehyun nodded and pulled out his wallet. He quickly paid for the mittens and bowed. The idol grabbed the angel's hand and walked away.
The owner shook his head with a smile on his face, "Those are match perfectly well together. They're both shy about their relationship yet you can see that they have feelings for each other. Ah, young love."
"Uh, Daehyun oppa?" Dahee called.
Daehyun turned to look at the angel, "Hmm?"
Before Dahee could open , two figures in the distance caught her attention. Her eyes widened in horror as she stared at them.
*BamBam and Yugyeom...if they're here then that means...Mark is here as well.* Dahee scanned the area and saw no Mark.
Even though there was no Mark in sight, the thought of Mark seeing her sent shivers down her spine. It was both good and bad because she had missed Mark but she didn't want him to take her home. She didn't want to go home...just yet.
"Dahee, is something wrong?" Daehyun asked as he searched her face in concern.
The angel snapped out of her thoughts and gave the idol a lopsided smile, "No everything's fine. Um, how about we get going Daehyun oppa."
"Are you sure? You look like you'd just seen a ghost." Daehyun commented.
*It's worse than a ghost Daehyun oppa.* "It's nothing oppa." She lied.
Daehyun nodded, "Alright, so where do you want to go now?"
"Back to the dorm." Dahee quickly replied.
The idol blinked at her, "Already."
"Yes." *I don't want to take any chance of Mark finding me here. I also don't want you to be harmed, Daehyun oppa.* Dahee sighed.
"Are you sure? There's still more places here for us to visit." Daehyun looked around.
Dahee looked up at the idol and saw that he really wanted to spend some more time here. She didn't want to upset him, so she nodded her head.
"Alright, we can walk around but I think I'm going to need one of those too oppa." She pointed to his mask.
Daehyun blinked at her, "You want a mask too?"
The angel nodded in reply.
Daehyun laughed, "Okay then. We'll go buy you a mask."
"Dahee, where are you?" Mark mumbled as he scanned the streets with his eyes.
His heart was pounding against his rib
