Surprise Visit
Runaway Angel
“Mark was right. Humans are cruel.” Dahee mumbled. “Up until now, I’ve been surrounded by humans who are friendly and kind but I’ve never encountered a human who is mean and rude.”
The angel heaved a sigh, “Who would have known that this world could be so cruel.”
Then the sound of the doorbell ringing rang throughout the dorm.
Dahee jump startled to the sudden noise. She straightened up and looked around, “What was that?”
The doorbell rang again.
The angel stood up and cautiously walked over to the door, “Who’s at the door?” She took a step towards the door when it rang again. Dahee unlocked the door and pushed the door open, “Who is it?”
She looked up and her eyes widened, “M-Mark!”
The angel warrior stared at her before he grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the dorm. The other angel warriors scrambled into the dorm after them.
“Mark, let go.” Dahee pulled her wrist free from the angel warrior’s grip.
Mark spun around with a frown on his face, “What is going on? Why are you on the front page of the newspaper? Why were you hugging that human?!”
The angel warriors quickly went to Mark’s side.
JB placed a hand on his shoulder, “Calm down Mark. There’s no need to yell.”
Mark inhaled a deep breath.
Dahee looked at the angel warriors in front of her.
BamBam and Youngjae caught her eyes, “Hello Princess Dahee.”
The angel gave them a faint smile in greeting before she turned to look at Mark, who was staring intensely at her.
“Are you going to tell me?” Mark asked with a scowl.
“There’s no need for you to worry about anything, Mark. This matter is being handled at the moment.” Dahee replied.
Mark ran a hand through his hair, “Are you crazy? While I was walking here there were people talking bad about you, Dahee! What I am supposed to do, huh?”
“Nothing. You’re not supposed to do anything.” Dahee said through clench teeth.
That angel warrior stared at the angel in disbelief.
“Princess Dahee.” Jackson called.
Dahee turned her attention to the angel warrior.
“We may not know how big the problem is in this world, but for us angels we just can’t accept this. Princess, I hope that you can understand our point of view on this. We don’t want any harm coming to you and for any of the humans to know that you’re an angel.” Jackson said softly.
Dahee shook her head, “You guys don’t have to worry about that. No one will know that I’m an angel.”
“But those humans know.” Mark growled.
The angel turned to him, “Of course they know. I’ve been staying with them for the past two months and I trust them.”
“And you don’t trust us?” Mark questioned.
Dahee shook her head with a hurt expression on her face, “How could you say that? Of course I trust you guys. Why wouldn’t I trust you guys who have been with me since childhood?”
“Then let’s go back home.” Mark said softly.
Dahee stared at him for a moment before shifting her attention to the other angel warriors, who she knew were all backing up Mark. She shook her head, “Not yet. I can’t go back yet.”
Mark opened his mouth to say something but J
