Chapter 1

Naeun’s POV

Hello everyone, my name is Son Naeun, I live in soul with my mom and dad, I don’t have any sibling means I’m just the only princess in the family,

And my motto: “Never believe in love once you get hurt because of it”

“Naeun, daughter… are you ready for school?” mom ask and knock on my door,

“Yes mom” I replied while brushing my hair,

“Meet you up on the living room” she said again,

“Alright, I’ll be there!” I said back,

Then I heard footsteps walking away,

I sit on my chair in front of my mirror,

By the way, this is my last year being a senior high, and for more information my school name is Palace Academy, school for elites, there are two highest section in seniors…the Star Class and the Special Section, the two rival sections… and I belong at the Star Class. I am also one of the Campus Princess and I really hate it, you're a campus prince or princess when you belong to the top 10 of the school and fortunately I was on the top 2. In class I'm popular as the ‘Ice Princess’ because of my cold approach to everyone, they also said that they see a block of ice surrounding me. *sigh* But I don’t care what they are thinking about me, the only thing I want is to graduate and live my life as others do without believing in… LOVE.

It’s been 2 years since that day happen, since the day I first believe that love wasn’t real, that love will just hurt everyone.

I stand up, get my bag and once again look myself at the mirror before going downstairs,

Taemin’s POV

Hi there everyone, my name is Lee Taemin, currently transferred in Palace Academy and one of the Campus Prince, yes you’re right I maybe a playboy but I have my brain and I won’t tell you what top am I *wink* but in class I am known as the ‘Casanova Prince’, I love playing with girls anytime I want, or I call girls as ‘toys’, I know girls there will hurt their feelings but I don’t care, all I want is to make myself happy and the answer was being a Casanova. 

And love? *smirk* Stupid are people who believe in love… it is just mere attraction to somebody. Love is a game. I'm the player and girls are my toys. Girls heart are made to be broken... and it's all worth it. 

My Motto: There’s no such thing called LOVE,

Don’t worry, I have a complete family, I just don’t want to believe in love.

Why?

Girls will never take me seriously, they’re all flirts! They just want my looks and my fortune. I will never find someone like mom. She’s different from everyone. Got it? D-I-F-F-E-R-E-N-T

“Son, are you ready for school?” I heard mom ask,

“Yes mom, just a second” I replied while applying a gel on my hair,

“Ok, wait you up on the kitchen”

“Ok!”

And now, I get my bag and hurriedly go to the kitchen,

“Mom!” I greeted mom and kiss her on the cheek,

“Hmmm?” she ask,

“What’s for breakfast?” I ask,

“Just egg and hotdogs” she said,

I frowned, we have a big company, luxury cars, big houses and this is what will I get for breakfast?!

I’m not a kid anymore,

“Don’t frown, you look ugly” mom said and gave me a glass of milk,

“Whatever” I said and drink my milk,

“Son… promise me not to do that in Palace Academy” mom said seriously,

I’ve got transferred there because of me being a playboy, many cases in my old school where I skip classes just to go on a date,

“Got that mom” I said in a bored tone,

I heard mom sigh as if she’s not satisfied on my answer,

Well, if girls chase me there, it’s not my fault anymore.

“Tch, you said that before, but you keep doing it” I heard dad said,

I turn,

“Dad!” I said and smile at him,

He’s once a Casanova before, and now an ex-Casanova,

“My boy has grown up now” he said and pat me on the head like what he always does when I was just a little boy,

“Where’s Key?” mom ask, he’s my older brother,

“Still sleeping” dad said and sits on the chair beside mom,

When you see them, they look happy together, their eyes were full of love when they stare at each other… but why can’t I believe in love? Why?

[School]

“Taeminnie, be good” hyung said and waved at me,

He’s so childish, he even send me to school because he said he wants to see me on my first day here… he’s treating me like a child,

While walking…

“Oh my, he’s so handsome”

“I wonder what section is he!”

“Omo, he’s one of the Campus Princes!”

“Isn’t he the transferred student from Dream University?”

“The Prince of Casanova’s?”

Eh, so someone also know me here being a Casanova?

Aren’t I too popular?

Well, never mind I just go to my section which is the Star Class,

Naeuns’s POV

“Bye yeoshin!” Eunji said and gave me a peck on the cheek,

Eunji is my best friend, she has a lot of nicknames to call me,

I just nod and smile at her, she’s the one and only friend that I have,

While walking…

“Hey, look dude, she’s so beautiful”

“Pretty”

“Gorgeous”

“Bro, she’s one of the Campus Princess!”

“The ‘Ice Princess”

“She’s really a princess”

“Yeah, truly have the beauty of a goddess”

If only looks can kill, they are all dead now 1000x, they are so irritating… I am a person not a goddess, I don’t have magic’s like them, and yes I am a princess but just only in our house, here in school I don’t want to be called a princess because I don’t wear gowns and live in a castle,

I just continue walking leading to my section which is the Star Section,

*open door*

Everybody look at me and then they began whispering again, Ugh! Why don’t they treat me like a normal person?! Oh well, I know all of them and they all know me… but there is one person that I don’t know, he’s sitting in the middle and girls are surrounding him,

Oh well, maybe he’s a transfer student,

When I was about to look away he look at me then our eyes met,

I gave him an expressionless face though he smile at me,

Tss, I don’t like this guy.

I look away and just sit on my chair which is in the front row,

Taemin’s POV

When I enter the room all eyes were on me… I feel like a super star.

Then when I sit in the middle row… exactly in the center, many girls as usual surrounded me.

I was having a good time when the door open and…

I saw that girl, she’s beautiful especially her hair is semi curly; she’s simple and elegant at the same time,

*smile at her* she will be one my collection too… one of a kind toy.

She just looks at me with expressionless face and rolled her eyes on me,

Oh man, is she acting ‘hard to get’?

That style won’t work at me… I will have her,

It’s so boring; the professor didn’t come so here I am in the cafeteria,

[Break Time]

I saw her seating alone,

“Hey” I said and put my tray on the table,

“Yes?” she ask not even looking at me,

Maybe she’s too shy to talk to someone as handsome like me *smirk*

“May I know your name?” I ask,

This time, she looks at me,

“No need” she replied with her usual expressionless face,

I bet she was the popular ‘Ice Princess’, right?

“I just want to be friends with you” I said in a romantic voice,

She looks at me with a fierce gaze,

“I don’t need one” she said,

“Playing hard to get?”

“Speaking about nonsense. You're an example”

My expression suddenly changes. Those girls early in the morning we're right when they say that this girl is hard to tame. It's like taming a lion and a tiger. But even though... I have my plan. Plan on trapping her on my cob of web...

“Oh really?” I ask,

“Yes” didn’t she have any emotion at all? Why is her voice and face so emotionless?!

“Then… let’s make a bet” I challenge her,

She just looks at me with her poker face,

“What was that?” she ask quickly,

Naeun’s POV

Is he challenging me or what?

Tch, I’m always on the ‘Go’

“When I beat you in the ranking of the honor students, were gonna date”

I look at him and smile… did he really mean that?

I rolled my eyes. No one can beat me on the ranking of the honor students… no one can, just the top 1 in the school. And I don’t know who he/she is and as far as I can see, this boy is not that top 1 student.

“Are you serious?” I ask him,

“Of course… why wouldn’t I?” he ask back,

Then, I will show him what he wants to see, and I’ll make him realize that he should never challenge me.

“Fine, better luck next time”

After I said that I gave him my words and my signature that I’m agreeing with him.

Taemin’s POV

“Better luck in advance huh? You’ll see what you want to see ice princess” I whisper and smile likes a fool,

“Hello there transfer student” someone occupy the seat of ice princess

I smile at the girl; she smiles flirtatious at me. Gotcha! 

“Hi there, pretty lady”

I sit beside her and put my arms around her waist and started kissing her.

Naeun’s POV

I was looking at Lee Taemin with that girl,

“A Casanova will forever be a Casanova” I sigh and look at my book again. We have a quiz tomorrow so I’ll better be ready,

“Hi Na-Naeun” I look up

“Who are you?” I ask with my usual cold tone,

“I…I, ummm you know…I”

“Speak! I hate people who can't speak properly” I said and look at my book again. That was a record, I didn’t speak in a sentence with 6 or more word, you’re lucky if you can make me talk to you with 6-10 words. I heard him sigh,

“Please make your test perfect tomorrow, and take this. Hope you like it!” he said it very quickly and run away with cheeks so red.

I look at the basket full of sweets and a rose on the center of it, he must have put efforts in making it.

Eunji will like it than me, so I will give it to her when I came home. *sigh* That’s why I hate being popular, everyone will treat you special.

“I’ll make you ashamed Casanova” I grin and look at the book once again,

Taemin’s POV

“Hey Taeminie, can you help me solve my math problems?” I heard hyung ask,

Tss, mental problems is the right word.

“Your older than me, how can I suppose to know about your lessons?” i retorted back. -_- I'm not his maid to answer those freaking math equations for him.

“Please? I know you really have a brain”

I push him and look at the math problem his solving.

Too simple…

“Oh great, this is too easy” I said and pull the pen on Key’s hand. I can't believe i'm solving this for him!

“I can’t believe you have a brain in this kind of things, I thought you only know how to womanize” he said, amazed.

*spank*

“Ouch, that hurts!” he complained and hold his head,

“Good for you. Just shut up and let me solve this math problem!”

He smile and gave me a piece sign “Ok”

*solve solve solve*

“Phew! Here is it Key” I gave the paper to him and throw the pen somewhere,

“Hey, my pen!” he said and crawl wherever I throw his pen. I stand up and just walk away,

“Wow, he’s really the best in math problems” he added.

“You just don’t have a brain”

“Hey! What did you say?!”

“Rest in peace”

“Mom!!! Taeminie is so rude again!!! Huhuhuhuhuhu” he said while faking a cry,

Seriously, is he really older than me? Or I am older than him?

Hmmm, anyway, Ice Princess is cute...
