*Flashback*

In their ugly school uniform, all the kids at Chunseon Junior High School ran into their classrooms just before the last bell rang. Thirteen-year-old Kwon Jongin made it inside just in time. Before the teacher got the class settled, tending to his own business; a group of Kingkas and Queenkas (which were actually just ulzzang wannabes) were all huddled around, just a few desks from Jongin’s. When they saw her they began snickering. They were obviously talking about her but she paid no mind.

“Hey, Jongin,” Called out one of the students to grab Jongin’s attention. She looked up and saw that they wanted her to come over. She hesitated at first but did so.

“What is it?” She asked.

“Nothing, just…”

“Just what?”

“Haven’t you heard?”

“Heard what? Stop wasting my time and get to the point already.”

“Sohyun’s been telling everyone that you and him…”

“…What?”

“I knew it wasn’t true!” A girl shouted jokingly. The group laughed while Jongin stood in awe.

“What are you talking about? What did Sohyun say?”

“Is it true that you’ve been with Minwoo and Junsu as well?” Someone asked.

“At the same time?” Someone else blurted.

She couldn’t believe her ears. Just what the hell was Sohyun spreading? And she would have ran out right then and there but class had already started and Jongin had to wait. Come the 15 minute break, though, she surely caught him at his locker, just laughing his off with some friends as though he wasn’t saying such ugly things.

“KIM SOHYUN!” She went up to him and gave him the usual punch in the gut that was daily for Sohyun. He doubled over while the males he had been standing with snickered and didn’t bother to help.

“Ow! What was that for, I haven’t been doing anything lately.”

“Spreading rumors about me huh!” She screamed with an unusual screech at the end of her voice. Sohyun laughed even though he shouldn’t have. “You said stuff about me and you?”

“You , it’s called a joke.”

She punched him again in the arm. “Nothing was funny about it. And what’s this about me, Minwoo and nugu…Junsu? You’d think I’d stoop so low even for the likes of you?”

“What are you talking about now?”

She slapped him this time. “This time you’ve gone too far!” She said.

“Yah. What the hell? You know what, I’m not even going to waste my breath, you easy .”

“What did you call me?”
