There's Something I Can't Stand About YouJawook’s POV
I banged on the door louder, harder this time. I was sure to wake the neighbors but I hardly cared. Just as I anticipated Krystal snatched open her apartment door and looked at me with fiery eyes. She pulled me into her apartment before the people next door could look out to see what was happening.
“What are you doing here?” She harshly whispered which made me laugh. She wanted to be discreet even in her own home. “Aren’t you supposed to be with that Jongin girl? Did you win her over?”
My laughter turned hysterical and soon I couldn’t stop. I collapsed onto Krystal's couch and laughed til my heart’s content while she folded her arms and stuck out her chin.
“Don’t tell me…you couldn’t do it.”
“I couldn’t.” I confirmed; my laughter vanished as quickly as it started, and now I could only feel bitter. Krystal scoffed.
“Useless manager.”
“We are both completely useless people. Krystal, give up on Kai. Leave him and his girl alone.”
“No!” She screamed. “Why do I have to give up just because you have so easily? I'm not weak like you.”
“Aren’t you tired?” I ask her sincerely. Seeing her so worked up over one person who had little to no interest in Krystal made me feel bad for her.
