Sohyun's POV

There we were. Together and alone, finally getting to the conclusion of this unlucky fate we shared. I didn’t want to hate Jongin anymore, it was too tiring. It was harder than loving, which ironically, I thought was one of the worst feelings ever. The heartache and frustration, I couldn’t go through with it again. I’ll make sure to change things, even if she hasn’t.

Jongin, anxious as always, hopped from seat to seat that surrounded the small stage I performed for fans earlier that day. I got back on stage, this time with an acoustic guitar and I sat in a stool. Jongin looked at me, huffed and finally stayed in one place.

“You can play the acoustic? You never told me.” She said looking almost disappointed or sad. Jongin played the guitar growing up, it was one of her favorite things to do.  I bought an acoustic once before I joined the industry, but I was terrible at it. I didn’t have the nerve to ask Jongin for help.

“Would I tell you?” I asked, “Would you have listened?”

I strung a few strings on the guitar getting a soft tune. When I became an idol I was able to gain a variety of skills, which lead into me perfecting my guitar skills. While I tuned the instrument Jongin continued to act childish.

“I don’t suppose you can sing now too…can you?”

I shushed her, finding the mood was set right for expressing myself. I sung a little bit and watched Jongin closely. As the lyrics began to structure a foreboding story we were both too familiar with, she looked at me, almost profoundly.
