Author's Pov.

"What are you doing here?" asked Nara.

"What do you mean what am I doing here, I came here to have fun" smirked Daehyun.

"Omo, is that you Daehyun?" 

"Miss Kim? Oh.. Annyeonghaseyo, how's everything?"

"What a surprise seeing you here and everythings fine, thank you. Why don't you come join us? suggested Nara's mother.

"Mom, I don't think tha-" Nara spoke until she was cut off. Nara's mother shot her a glare, which made her stay quiet. Daehyun and Nara's mother happened to be real good friends since they worked at the same place, which was why they knew each other. They agreed to sit together hoping to make the atmosphere more fun.

"Why don't you both dance together?" suggested Daehyun's mother. "Yeah, that'd be great" added Nara's mother.

"Yeah uhh mom I don't think so" chuckled Nara at the idea of them dancing together."Oh you're dancing" assured Nara's mother. 

Suddenly her mother stood up and dragged them both to the dance floor. "I bet you're enjoying this" spoke Nara. "If I said I wasn't, I'd be lying" smirked Daehyun. Daehyun then started to pull Nara closer to him."What are you doing?" asked Nara, bewildered at the sudden action. "Shh..it's to piss those guys off, I don't like the idea of them staring at you. Only I can do that."

"Pssh...whatever" scoffed Nara. Soon enough they were dancing to the rhythym of the music. Daehyun kept locking gazes with Nara which made her feel very nervous.

"You look really beautiful tonight" stated Daehyun. "Thanks...you too."

"You mean handsome right?" questioned Daehyun. "Ohh right." Nara blushed in embarrassment.

"Hey after this, want to go somewhere? Our parents will be getting drunk so we can escape for a while" asked Daehyun. Nara stood there contemplating whether to go or not. What could go wrong? thought Nara.

"Sure, let's go." After the final song, they both dismissed themselves from the dance floor. Just as they were heading to the roof, Nara snuck a bottle of apple cider. "Alright, let's go!" exclaimed Nara.

The air gave a hint of tranquility as it hit them. "You think you'll be able to finish that?" asked Daehyun. "of course!" replied Nara. Stealing the bottle and running around the roof, Daehyun tried his best to stay out of Nara's reach. "Give that back!" demanded Nara, while chasing him down. Gripping the tip of his blazer, she was able to slow him down and retrieve the bottle back. Without a second thought, Nara chugged half of the bottle. 

All of a sudden, Daehyun noticed a slight change in Nara.

It turned out that the bottle she chugged down was not apple cider but liquor. "Pabo! Do you know what you just chugged down?" asked Daehyun, while regaining the bottle back again.

Giggling and nodding, Nara started to come closer to Daehyun. "Daehyun....Daehyuunie, she sweetly called out to him. Do you like me?" 

"Of course I do" answered Daehyun, slowly stepping back. "Kiss me" requested Nara, already face to face with Daehyun. "As much as I want to...I can't" he replied, gently pushing her away. Pouting with tears forming in her eyes, Nara started to cry. "Liar! You don't like me."

"You're really complicated when you're drunk, you know that?" Daehyun complained to her.

"Why doesn't anyone like me" she started to cry out even louder.

"Aissh, don't complain later on ok?" said Daehyun, pulling her in for a kiss. It was a rough yet tender kiss. This marked their second kiss, under the starry night that day.
