Hyun Joong chuckled. "What are you?" he cocked his head to the side, appearing to be thinking. "What are you? You are nothing to me my dear, absolutely nothing." A slap landed on his left cheek and he turned a startled eyes to her. "What is that for?"
Cassie edged closer to him, lips drawn tight, eyes in slits. "How dare you? How dare you say that to me? Do you have any idea how excited I was just at the mere thought of being your girlfriend?"
Hyun Joong mused, arms akimbo. "Truth is you are a bloody gold digger."
Cassie staggered back, her face flaming red. "What..."she stuttered.
Feeling slightly guilty, he scratched his head agitatedly. "Look here Cassie, I went to that club that night because I was jealous and I was stupid to bring you home with me. I pushed you away because I couldn't do it." His laugh was short and forced. "I guess I love So min so much that I couldn't bear the thought of being with another girl. I am sorry if I have hurt your feelings but there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. I only wish you could forgive me." he concluded with a bowed head.
Cassie sighed. "I don't know what to say." she said as she ran a finger through her hair. "I guess I was too overwhelmed by your house and what I saw that I fantasize about dating you." She said shamefully, her shoulders slumped. "You are right, absolutely right, I am nothing but a bloody gold digger." She lowered her eyes as tears swelled up.
"I didn't mean to call you that." Hyun Joong said apologetically.
Cassie shook her head vigorously. "You have every right to call me that because that is exactly who I am." She said before turning to face So min. "You are one lucky girl." she smiled at her.
