For sixtwentyone

~Infinite Secret Santa 2013~ *Santas Revealed!*
Hug-zoned

For: sixtwentyone
Pairing: GyuYeol
Prompt: GyuYeol seeing each other again after years of a long distance relationship.

"Choco Java Chip, Grande, for Sungyeol-nim?"

A brunette looked up from his laptop the moment he heard his name being called from the counter where his drink for the day sat waiting to be claimed by him.
Sungyeol rose from his seat and approached the barista that prepared his drink. He took hold of the cold beverage and did not forget to say his thanks before turning on his heels to get back to his seat.
Placing the sweating drink beside his laptop, Sungyeol took a moment to wander his eyes in the interior of the café. He has been a regular of the establishment for three years now, frequenting the place every night.
Being a three-year patron he was, Sungyeol took note of the changes the café had. The once white mono-block tables were replaced with mahogany table tops paired with cushions instead of metal chairs. Even the barista who once was named Boohyun was already replaced by a guy named Woohyun.
Sungyeol tilted his head. The baristas' names were oddly similar. Now that he thought of it, he looked back at the counter only to find the barista also looking his way-- or rather at the window beside him. He heard this Woohyun calling out a 'Hyung' and found Boohyun walking into the café after a few seconds. They must be brothers. They looked similar, too.

Shrugging his shoulders, Sungyeol sipped on his drink and went back to his laptop. He checked the time and saw the analog showing him that it was already 10:00PM in white characters.
He still had thirty minutes more.
Sungyeol grabbed his bag that laid limply on the other side of the table and took out his earphones. He plugged it into the jack at the side of his laptop and had his forefinger run over the trackpad. He scanned over a few files and programs as he searched for any form of entertainment to kill time. He still had enough time.

Enough time to calm his rushing blood as the excitement built up inside him.
He was growing anxious by the minute hence the need of any form of entertainment to distract his thoughts and will himself off from checking the time every damn second. He continuously browsed his folders until he came upon his downloaded videos and ended up choosing to watch an old drama.
Sungyeol eased himself onto the cushion and rubbed his palms together when a particular scene that unfolded before his eyes have been utterly familiar. The male protagonist had to leave his lover behind for an overseas opportunity. The female protagonist even cried rivers of tears as she said her goodbyes to the man he loves and even told a promise that she'll be waiting for him just as the love of her life went farther for his final boarding.
Sungyeol's lips started to quiver as he felt his eyes started to sting. He tried his best to keep his emotions at bay. He was aware that he's easily drawn into tears whenever there are sentimental and heavily emotionally coated scenarios but this one was an exception.
Sungyeol genuinely sympathized with the female lead. Heck, he was in the same shoes three years back. The thing was, he was able to cope with the longing and loneliness due to the existence of a certain angel.
His angel that he left at home.
His angel that was already sleeping, clad in paired pajamas.

Sungyeol smiled as the image of his love sleeping emerged at the forefront of his mind; the reason why he always left home at night and stayed at the café for the sake of not disturbing the sleep of his precious one.
Sungyeol stopped himself from daydreaming and focused back on the drama. Just as the male protagonist made a call, probably to have his final goodbyes with the damsel in distress, Sungyeol's phone rang from inside his bag.
Sungyeol inwardly snickered at the preposterous thought that brewed in his brain as he opened his bag and rummaged it's insides in search of his phone. The device continued to ring and it's screen incessantly blinked as he took it out of his Givenchy.

Before he tapped the receiving icon, Sungyeol's brows knitted together in confusion when the caller ID showed the name of the person he has been waiting to call.
"Hello?" he answered, "Hyung, weren't you supposed to video call me on Skype?"
Hearing shufflings on the other line, Sungyeol assumed that the other person must have switched his bag on the other shoulder. "Hello? Where are you, hyung?"
"Oh. Sorry about that. I got to move some things here from the office."
Sungyeol missed this. He missed the voice of this particular man. He missed the times when he could listen to it personally and not being over the phone.
"I'm using earphones now since I have stuff with me. I still want to see you, though."
Sungyeol bit his lip as a smile attempted to creep out of his face. He had to hold back, though. He's in public. He could never afford to humiliate himself by smiling without anyone in front of him.
"Me, too. I miss you," he whispered.
The man on the other line breathed in deep before he softly spoke, "I miss you more," he paused, "Why are we whispering?"
It was Sungyeol's final straw. He actually broke into a grin, his gums and teeth showing, not caring at the surreptitious glances of the few people near his table. He whispered back into his phone as he covered it's bottom, attempting to amplify his breathy talking into the receiver, "Because I feel like doing so?"
Sungyeol heard the older man's chuckle on the speaker, letting its vibration travel from his ears to the entirety of his body, making the hairs at the back of his neck stand in complete attention. "Anyway, we can't use Skype tomorrow. More like, I can't call you tomorrow."
"Why? Are you going somewhere?" Sungyeol asked as a pout made way on his pink lips, "You know that I'll be missing you even if it's just a day."
A long pause emerged between the two.
"Jagiyah~ Don't pout..." the man on the phone prodded.
"How did you know I'm pouting? You can't see me there in London." Sungyeol complained as he jutted out his lip more.
Sungyeol sighed as the familiar feeling of sadness crawled into his chest. But before it could completely envelope his heart, small arms wrapped around his neck and felt the warm body of its owner on his left side.

"Mommy, don't be sad," the child said as he cupped Sungyeol's face in his small hands, "Sunji will be sad if Mommy is sad."
Confusion and perplexion was an understatement if a person was to look at Sungyeol's visage. Why was his son in the café? What was a six year-old kid doing outside their home past his bedtime? Sungyeol could only gather the boy in his arms and placed him on his lap. "What are you doing here? Who brought you here?"
The little boy just giggled which added fuel to Sungyeol's worrying. "It's a secret Mommy. Big boys don't spill secrets. Just wait." the boy sing sang and ended his phrase with a loud smooch on Sungyeol's cheeks.
Sungyeol raised a brow at his own son. Since when did his boy become secretive and mysterious? He also realized another important thing, why did his baby kiss him on the cheeks?
Sungyeol perched the boy on his left thigh and asked, "Honey," he started, "Why did you not kiss Mommy on the lips? Why on the cheeks?"
The boy puffed his cheeks as he tapped his forefinger on his lips that he got from Sungyeol. He looked as if he was in a deep thought on what to tell his mom. After a few moments of mental deliberation the boy faced his mom with round eyes and spoke with conviction.
"Because I'm a big boy already and I will only kiss my girlfriend on the lips. That's why Sunji will only kiss Mommy on the cheeks starting today."
Completely scandalized at the statement of a six year-old, four footer boy, Sungyeol could only gawk at Sunji. Who taught my baby that?
Sungyeol started to cross out names from his list of friends who have played with Sunji. He swore to himself that if ever he would be able to pinpoint whoever took a portion of his child's innocence will be definitely eradicated on the face of the Earth. Everything tuned out in Sungyeol's ears. But a single statement made his auditory senses crystal clear.
"Daddy owns Mommy's lips. Sunji can not kiss Mommy on the lips anymore," Sunji stated as he looked down on his lap as he fiddled the hem of his pajamas, "But I want to ppoppo Mommy on the lips, too."

Sungyeol's cheeks flushed pink at his little boy's remark, "Who told you that?"
The brunette gently shook the boy on his lap, urging Sunji to tell the truth. The boy playfully shook his head as he gave his mom a toothy grin before covering his mouth with his small palms.
Sungyeol was about to drill his wiggling forefinger on his baby's tickle bones when he remembered his husband's phone call. "Omo!" he exclaimed as he hurriedly reached for his phone and was glad to find that his husband haven't hanged up. "Sunji-ah, you want to talk to Daddy?"
Sungyeol stared at Sunji who only spread his lips wider as if he was the Cheshire cat.
"We already talked a lot before we got here."
A familiar voice answered the hanging question.

To Sungyeol, the world stopped before his eyes as he witnessed his little ball of energy ran off his lap and surged to the man who stood by the café's entrance.
"Daddy!"
Sungyeol continued to stare and watch until the handsome person lifted his son up into the air and into his embrace. He did not have any idea where he found the strength to stand up from where he was seated when he practically couldn't feel his whole body as if his grey matter switched to auto pilot to hoist his slim frame off the cushion. He tried to stable his bearings yet he ended up with jelly knees when the man he longed to touch took long strides to be in front of him.
Sungyeol was sure that he's already crying, judging by how his surroundings looked blurry in his eyes. He could smell his favorite perfume. He was now an arm's length away from him, unlike the past three and almost a half years, his husband had been miles away.
The man spoke, still smiling as his eyes disappeared into thin slits, "Am I not going to get any kiss?"
Sungyeol did not hold back as he lunged himself into the warmth that he had missed so much, "Sunggyu hyung."
Sungyeol embraced the brown haired man tighter and tighter, not wanting to let go, making sure that the other was real and was not a figment of his imagination. He soon felt Sunggyu's chest rumble out a chuckle which made him look up and drowm into the orbs of the other.
"Since it's been three years since the last time I kissed you, and all I get is a tight hug," Sunggyu surmised, "Am I being hug-zoned by my own wife?"
Sungyeol started to wave his hands as he stuttered reasons out of his mouth. His senses went overdrive when he inhaled his husband's musky scent, leaving him stumbling on his own words.
"Wha-- No! Ofcourse, I want to kiss you! It's just that i missed you so much... But you were in London while on the phone a moment ago, but now you're here. And then because I missed you so--"

Sungyeol's verbal rampage were ceased when he felt a pair soft lips against his own. The kiss was gentle yet it conveyed the bottled up feelings that were now released for a certain brunette to know how much he was treasured and loved by the brown haired man.
Sungyeol's eyes fluttered close and permitted his senses to take over. He felt those lips distance away and was replaced by warm puffs of air. He was still in a haze when he heard someone giggle somewhere from his right side.
"Mommy looks funny," a little voice said.
"You think so? But I think Mommy looks pretty like that, though."
"No," Sunji dragged, "Mommy looks co... Consitpated."
"Did you mean, constipated, buddy?" Sunggyu reiterated to the boy who was perched on his left arm and the boy vigorously nodded.
Sungyeol was able to gather his self back together but he was too late to save himself from his own humiliation.
"Hyung!"
