Once Ren reached his home, he had to begin his work. That essay was due in 7 days. It was a lot of work too. Ren slammed his door and headed to his office. Once he reached it he dropped everything on the table. He then headed to his room. He easily took his shirt off. He then shivered when the cold air hit his bare chest. He cursed when he ask himself why it was so cold. He then ran down the steps walking to the kitchen, finding the heater.

It was 55 degrees in his room.’’ Why did I turned my heater that low?’’ he asked himself.  He then quickly his heat. Once he heard the hit kick on he stood on the vent to feel the warm air. Once he felt warm he forced himself to go up to his office and begin work. Ren sat on his chair, sinking into it. He then lifted the top of his laptop to turn it on.

It showed his previous work. He minimized the work and began a new document for his father’s essay. He began to type furiously. When it was around 12 midnight he was able to finish ¼ of the essay. He groaned when he realized that he didn’t finish much. Ren then looked over at his phone. He forgot that he turned it off. He then pushes the button on the top to bring his phone to life.

 Once he turned it on, he found txt messaged from his brothers and June. He also found a message from Hee Jin. He smiled to himself. He then looked at her message.

Hee Jin’s text messages

‘’ So how was the meeting today?’’

‘’Are you going to come over again?’’

‘’ Why are you not answering my messages? You’re probably asleep. Well talk to you later! Good night!’’

Once Ren finished reading her messages, he couldn’t help but smile. He then looked at his brothers messages.

Aron text messages

‘’ Hey, I heard about the meeting. Did dad already speak to you about it?’’

*Yes he did spoke to me about it.* Ren thought.

Minhyun text messages.

‘’I’m bored. Can I help you with anything? I have a feeling that you have a lot of work to do.’’

*I do have a lot of work. But how can you help me when your not even interested in business?* Ren thought.

Baekho text messages.

‘’ Ren! I’m hungry!’’

‘’ Do you have any food?’’

‘’ If you do message me J’’

Ren shook his head.’’ My brother just called me for food.’’

J.R text messages.

‘’ My life . I’m so bored!’’

Ren then laughed to himself when he read J.R’s message. All he wanted to say was that his life and that he was bored. Ren wished that he was J.R. He had nothing to do like the others. Ren then scrolled to the bottom of his phone to read June text message.

June text messages.

‘’Hey, I wanted to know if you are still awake? Do you mind going out to have a drink tonight?’’

Ren thought for a moment. He would have said yes but it was late. He then typed’’ Sure, It’s a little late. If you still want to go, then we can.’’

Ren was not really tired yet, he just wanted to have a break from his work. Ren then saved the work he finished and began to head to his room. He then the lights and jumped on his bed. It felt so soft. Ren then looked at his phone again. Should he txt Hee Jin too?

Well it was late. He didn’t want to wake her up.

Ren fell asleep after 1 past. He thought that he may receive a txt from June, but then again it was midnight. Ren stretches when he heard his phone ring. Ren felt for his phone. Once he found it, he groggily answered.

‘’This is Ren.’’ he mumbled to the phone.

‘’Ren you are still asleep?’’ asked a girl.

Ren groaned.’’ Who is this?’’ he asked as politely as he could.

‘’Who do you think this is?’’ the girl asked.

‘’Listen I really don’t have time to play around.’’ Ren said wearily.’’ So if you don’t have anything to say, then goodbye.’’

The girl huffed.’’ Well you sure are grumpy this morning. You can’t even recognize my voice. It’s Hee Jin, you dummy!’’ she yelled.

Ren slowly opened his eyes, when he heard her name.’’ I’m sorry. I’m just really tired.’’

‘’Ren, it’s already in the afternoon. Did you just now awoken from your sleep?’’ asked Hee Jin.

‘’Ne.’’ Ren answered.

Hee Jin sighed.’’ Hey I’m going to come over. Is that okay?’’ she asked.

Ren hummed for an answer.’’ You do know where the key is?’’

‘’ Yes, I do know where it is.’’

‘’Let yourself in.’’ said Ren as he hangs up his phone. He then looks at his time.

Ren groaned once more before closing his eyes. He didn’t care what the time was, he was too tired.

30 minutes later

Hee Jin arrived at Ren’s. She looked for his spare key in the pot, where a key was hidden in the bottom of it. Once she found the right pot she felt for the key. She then put her fist in the air when she found the key. She slips the key into the door knob and turns it to unlock the door. Once she hears a soft click, she then pulls the key out, retuning it back to the pot. She steps in taking off her shoes.
