It was only after he returned home that he realized the locket was no longer wrapped around his wrist.
 He searched every inch of his house twice, coming to the conclusion that it was lost. Amber couldn't
 have taken it. Her hands went no where near his wrists the whole time they talked, and he knew after
 remembering her that she was not one to take other peoples things. All these memories now flooded 
his mind, and there was no one to answer them. What had Amber meant by 'I can't tell you much 
without it being dangerous to you.'? Why was it dangerous if he remembered anything? The tree of life 
and ENDO had been sitting in his memories without Lay even knowing about them, it was as if he had
 never forgotten either of them. Lay struggled trying to remember what he had forgotten, as it was clear
 to him now that there was more to his 'simple urban life' than what 'Suho and the gang' had told him. 
He pulled on his hair in frustration at everything he didn't know, and at the fact that he had lost the rose
 locket. His one link with the mystery girl, and it was gone. It felt like he had lost another part of
 himself along with it.

"Yongguk really went too far, didn't he?" Zelo asked another boy - Youngjae - who was listening to 
music. The latter shrugged, nodding his head to the beat.

"That 'Lay' guy wasn't listening, so he roughed him up a little." 

"Still, we weren't even meant to hurt him at all. It was just supposed to be a warning." Zelo replied, 
fiddling with his hands.

"So what if we did, he looked fine to me last I saw." another man by the name of Himchan piped up. 
All six boys lived in a small, abandoned apartment near the centre of town. This was only their temporary
 residency, of course.

"What, when did you last see him?" Zelo asked, leaning forward.

"A couple days ago when I went out scouting. I didn't take any action because I wasn't told to by Boss,
 of course." He replied casually, polishing a switch blade with an old rag. "He looked like we hadn't 
even touched him." Zelo's eyes widened slightly.

"Really?" he asked. "I would have thought bruising or something? No scars? Cuts?" Himchan shook
 his head.

"Nothing." he replied. "Like nothing had happened to him at all." Zelo shook his head.

"That sounds like 'Lay' alright...Are we too late?"

"I hope not." Youngjae replied.

"We'll make sure we're not." Yongguk emerged from the dusty kitchen, a can of beer in his hand. "There's
 always Plan P."

"You know that's a last resort." Daehyun, another man said. "Plan B was to verbally convince him to
 give up, but that was aborted and turned into Plan A last night. Let's try to stick to Plan B from now 
on, ok?" Yongguk growled lowly, but knew better than to get on the wrong side of Daehyun. Plans B, 
A, and P had been formed at last minutes notice, as soon as Lay's location had been pinpointed. They 
weren't foolproof - as had been demonstrated by Yongguk earlier - but they were all the warriors had.

"So then what if he continues?" Zelo asked.

"Then we visit him again." Yongguk replied. "Simple as that." Daehyun sighed.

"It's always violence with you, isn't it?" He said. Yongguk stood up abruptly from the stack of newspapers 
he used as a seat, hands balled into fists. He didn't say anything, but his actions spoke louder than words. 
Zelo placed a cautious hand on his senior's arm and shook his head as he saw some thick ivy creeping 
through the floorboards.

"At least Zelo knows his place..." Daehyun smirked, adjusting his glasses. Yongguk growled, his knuckles
 turning white as he sat back down in his chair. He hated how Daehyun always treated him like an idiot.
 It wasn't like he was the leader of their squadron anyway.

"Whatever, we'll just have to keep a close eye on him to make certain he doesn't remember." Himchan 
said, placing the switch-blade down on the rag that lay in a heap on the floor. "I do think however, that
 we should move on to plan A."

"Why?" Zelo asked. "He's the kind of guy to be swayed by words, isn't he?"

"He is," Himchan said, straining his voice in effort "But this time it's different. He already knows too 
much for words to put him off." Himchan stood up, walking over to Yongguk.

"Now you're talking..." He mumbled. "In this case, violence is the answer."

"Not violence." Himchan replied. "Tactical fighting. And this time, we don't run no matter who shows 
up."

"Helloooooo?" Several knocks at the door and a loud call snapped Lay out of his thoughts.

"Anyone there?"

"Maybe he's not home..."

"Coming!" Lay called from within his house, running to the door in his fluffy house socks. He opened
 the door with a smile, knowing exactly who was at his front door.

"Hey guys! I-"

"WHY DIDN'T YOU GO TO THE DOCTORS TODAY!?" Ryeowook tackled him to the ground, Lay
 flinching at his friend.

"Get off him, you idiot!" Hyoyeon ripped Ryeowook off of Lay by his collar and helped Lay up. He
 shook his head with a frown, feeling a little shaken.

"You said you would go by yourself, but you never showed up!" Ryeowook pointed at Lay accusingly, 
Kyuhyun hitting him over the head.

"Wookie said he was walking past the doctors clinic today and the receptionist came out to ask him if 
he knew if Lay was still coming to his appointment - which was scheduled for two hours previous!" 
Hyoyeon yelled. "You weren't picking up your phone or anything!" Lay sighed. His phone had gone 
off a few times while he was looking for the locket, but h had ignored it. It looked as if he had been 
found out now. "Lay, we trusted you... Why didn't you go?" Lay sighed with a pleading look in his 
eyes. He knew his friends would only look down on him if he told them the truth, but lying was the 
last thing he wanted to do.

"I met one of my old friends today..." He said, calmly and quietly. The other three instantly softened.

"How do you know they were... How did you remember?" Kyuhyun asked softly. Lay smiled lightly.

"She told me all these things I couldn't remember, and then she told me about ENDO... And I remember
 them now!" he said happily. "I remember Amber and Sulli and Onew and everyone else! I wish I could 
see them all again."

"Was ENDO your dance group before you lived here?" Ryeowook asked. He knew Lay's fondness
 for dance. Lay frowned.

"No, they were just my friends, and they were really powerful."

"Powerful..?" Hyoyeon asked. She began to look at Lay with uneasy eyes. "Lay, please don't tell me 
this was another one of your hallucinations..."

"No I swear! Amber asked me how ENDO was doing on 'my planet' and told me she had died there but 
she has a second life here!" Lay said, trying desperately to make them understand. As soon as he had
 finished talking, he realized how crazy he must have sounded to his friends. "No... I-"

"Lay... Please stop this." Hyoyeon breathed. "Didn't we say this already? It's really worrying us..."
 Hyoyeon looked ready to cry. She didn't want to think her friend was going crazy. "First this girl, 
then that life-tree and now some girl who died on 'your planet' but is still alive here? Lay can't you
 see that doesn't make any sense?" Lay looked pleadingly in Hyoyeon's eyes.

"I know it sounds crazy, but it's true..." He said quietly. "Please belive me, I wouldn't make this up..."

"With the things you've been up to lately, I wouldn't be surprised if you did..." Kyuhyun replied with a 
concerned frown. Lay sighed and looked down at his feet.

"We're making you another appointment for the doctors, and you'd better go to this one!" Ryeowook 
said, angrily pulling out his phone.

"Guys, come on! There's nothing wrong with me, just look!"

"Maybe not physically, but maybe we should make you an appointment for a psychiatrist as well!" 
Ryeowook retorted, suddenly turning away when the phone picked up. Lay breathed out in frustration
 at the lack of support his friends were giving him. He understood that they were frustrated with him 
because they didn't understand what he was trying to say to them, but it was like they weren't even trying
 to understand.

"You guys..." Lay said slowly. "You don't have to belive me, but at least support me. That's all I ask. 
Right now, you guys aren't acting like friends should."

"Why, because we're concerned about you?" Hyoyeon asked, shaking her head. "If we weren't worried 
about your behaviour then we would be even worse friends. You're important to us Lay, and we just want
 the old you back."

"So do I..." Lay mumbled, knowing full well that the 'old Lay' he was talking about was very different to
 the one Hyoyeon was talking about. He closed the door softly, not wanting to discuss the matter any 
further and rested his back against the door, sinking to the ground after he heard his friends walk away.
 He hid his face in his hands and let out a shaky breath as he tried to grasp the situation. He knew that he 
as telling the truth, and so was Amber, no matter how far-fetched it sounded. It wasn't just a hunch, it was
 fact that resided within Lay's mind and memories.

As Zelo walked down the cracked pathway outside the main centre of town, he heard voices that sounded 
almost familiar.

"I can't believe he just shut the door like that!"

"We were only trying to help him... What's his problem?"

"It's not like him though... Maybe we were a little too harsh." One blonde girl bit her lip, looking up at a taller
 brunette male.

"You mean maybe Wookie went too far." the male replied, to which was met with a death glare from the other 
man. Zelo had to double-take. He had seen these people somewhere before, he just didn't know where.

"I did not!"

"Look, you're even freaking that kid out over there." The taller male replied, pointing at Zelo. His eyes went 
wide and he looked around for somewhere to hide. He wasn't meant to be out by himself, much less attracting 
attention.

"I am not!" The smaller man stomped over to Zelo and grabbed his shoulders, looking into his eyes. Zelo flinched,
 a look of sheer surprise on his face. "Am I freaking you out!?" He half-screamed. Zelo looked more scared 
than before and ducked under his arms to try to escape, but ended up running into the girl in the group. 
Luckily no-one fell down, but Zelo apologised anyway, his face going red. The girl smiled and shook her
 head, laughing lightly.

"Don't worry about it! There's no need to apologise." She said. "What's your name, anyway?" Zelo looked
 up shyly, unsure as to whether or not he should reveal his name. He decided to tell her his rank-name, given
 to him when he became a warrior.

"I go by Zelo." He replied.

"Hi Zelo! I'm Hyoyeon, and this is Kyuhyun and Ryeowook."

Hyoyeon.

Zelo's face went a little redder.
