Siwon was still at the office when Kyuhyun phoned him and brifley explain about Kangin and what happened at the mall. He sounded distress and mad. Siwon expresses his compassion telling him he can have a few days off if he needed. He hangs up feeling empty inside. Now a headace was slowwling creeping from the back of his head to his temples and forehead. He’s been sitting there surrounded by papers, his life energy draining. Standing up he walked to the cabinet below the window and pulled out a pack of cigarets. He was never a heavy smoker, he smoked mostly during his student years when they went out to party and drink, he never smoked sober. But this last year something changed, it felt like everything just piled up and he was losing control of his life. He opened the window and plesant wind hit his face, calming him down as he exhailed the cigatare smoke. It felt so good.

He moved across the room to turn off the light and the stepped closer to his desk to turn on his desk lamp. The bulb lit up and the rays fell down on the papers he didn’t notice before. Looks like Ren did found Sungmin’s café contract. He takes in another smoke from the cigarette than putting it out, reaching for the papers and skimming through it. Everything seemed ok, but why couldn’t he access the online manager? His name crossed his mind again, Kangin, what was he again? Sungmin hired him recently. Something wasn’t right here, if he came to hurt Sungmin, for sure he was out to destroy her business as well. Nothing was coincidence with that guy, just like how he happened to move in next to Ren!? “, this can’t be good.” He muttered under his breath as he reached for his phone to call Ren. Nervously he started circling around the office with the phone, but there was no answer on the other side. He stops as the pain in his head pulses really hard. “Am I overthinking? Kyu said they caught the guy, so she should be fine, right?” Taking a deep breath he takes his clothes and heads out. On the way to his car he passes a pharmacy and decides to get some painkillers. Standing in the pharmacy he calls Ren again, still no answer. He pays for the pills and a bottle of water. Now sitting in the car, swallowing the pills down he calls again. Feeling tired, knowing what waits for him at home, his head throbbing and now Ren not answering the phone puts him in a bad mood, before he knew it, he parked in front of her apartment.

He's about to step in the elevator when his phone buzzes. A thought crosses his mind, if its Ren he won’t go up. Lately he found it hard to be alone with her, she wakes up all sorts of feelings in him that he hasn’t felt for quite some time now. And he knew that it’s not good for him to think too much about it. Checking the screen, it was his doctor. He slightly rolls his eyes and the elevator opens. Stepping inside he answers the call.

“Heeei Siwon! How are you? Finally, I’ve been trying to reach you -” Cheerful voice came through. “Hello Yunho, I’m fine, what is it?” Siwon interrupts him mid-sentence and keps it short. “Your results are waiting for you for more than half a year now.” “I figured if something was wrong you would have called right away.” Siwon answered. “Well, there was should I say is something worth talking about” doctors voice changed. “Life threatening?” There was a small pause before the doctor denied it. “No, but it does concern your family because your results- ““Hyung-” Siwon cut him off. “it’s really bad timing, I’ll call you back!?” The elevator door opened and Siwon ended the call. Stepping out of the elevator he heard shouts and picked up his pace towards Ren’s apartment.

“Can’t you leave him ing alone?” Sooyoung was shouting and pulling Ren’s hair. “I’m ing tired of you ogling him all the ing time!” Ren was crying and tried to keep her off, but at the same time she didn’t dare to be too rough as the woman attacking her was pregnant. “I told you so many times to get a new ing job!” “Why should I get a new job?” Ren cried in vain and pushed hard enough for Sooyoung to stumbled back and hit the wall behind her. In her hands she held a few golden locks. Her face was read and her make up smeared. She lounged forward, Ren screech expecting her hands on her neck any second now, but before Sooyoung could do more harm, strong arms pulled her away. “What’s going on?” Siwon’s shout made Ren look up. Clearly in shock Siwon’s eyes wandered around the messy surroundings, Ren’s red face and messy hair to Sooyoung’s now limp body and blond hair in her hands. “What happened?” He asked again in disbelief, crouching down he looked at Sooyoung who appear to have fainted. He leaned her against the wall, moved the hair out of the face, lightly tapped her cheek and called her name. Meanwhile Ren was already calling for the ambulance.

“What the happened here?!” Siwon angrily shouted turning his head towards Ren. Who could barely speak. She tried to explain but she was just as confused as he was. “I opened the doors … and she just lounged at me … and … started shouting and …” She covered as her words changed into cries. Siwon laid Sooyoun on the ground on her hip side and folded her arm under her  head for support. Then stepped closer to Ren who flinched at first, his anger freaked her out. Still he helped her up and hugged her tight. “I swear … she just came at me … from nowhere …” Ren hiccupped nuzzling herself into his chest. He caressed her hair, looking at Sooyoung, the confusion and anger was slowly draining away and he couldn’t believe himself as he was thinking that he actually expected something like this to happen. Sooyoung was a ticking time bomb, soon after their marriage it became clear that she wasn’t a fan of Ren at all. And lately all they argued about was how he spend too much time at work, and the main problem was, Ren was there working for him.
