Minwoo held out his hand and you stared at it confused. Then you heard the crowd whispering.

You shook his hands and the crowd started clapping. Claire looked pissed off and shocked. Then after it was time for people to vote. You saw Claire take Minwoo’s hand to talk somewhere.

The votes started getting counted after a while, that was a special night for you. Then you crossed your fingers when they were announcing who would have won.

Principal: Thank you all who came tonight. And thank you all who voted. Our future president it-

He opened up the envelope.

Principal: Miss Park Seohyun!

Everyone started clapping and you got really happy. After the news, the twins came over to congratulate you.

Youngmin: Seohyun-ni! Congratulations!

He ran to hug you

You: Youngmin! Ahaha. Thanks!

Kwangmin: Ahaha, congrats dongsaeng!

You: Thank you!

Youngmin: Yah! We’re going to treat you tonight since you won! Where do you want to eat?

You: No! You guys don’t have to treat me!

Kwangmin: We don’t have to, but we want to!

You: No! No need!

Youngmin: We should celebrate with some BBQ !

You: Oh alri-

Kwangmin looked to where your attention was. You were looking at Minwoo who was a couple feet away. He smiled and walked away.

Kwangmin: Minwoo!

He looked back.

Kwangmin: I think you 2 should talk for now.

You: What’s there to even talk about?

Youngmin: There’s a lot to talk about. We’ll just eat some bbq next time!

You: But Youngmin! Kwangmin!

Kwangmin: Congrats.

Kwangmin hugged you, it was like the first time he hugged you. Youngmin looked surprised.

Youngmin: No fair! I want a hug too!

Youngmin went to hug you then they both left. Minwoo looked a bit confused.

Minwoo: Congrats…

You: Thanks…

Minwoo: How have you been?

You: Good. Very good. Especially without you.

Minwoo: Oh, I see.

You: Thanks for earlier, but I didn’t need it.

Minwoo: Hmm?

You: If you pity me or if you think that helping me would make me forgive you, you shouldn’t even have bothered.

Then you started walking away, Minwoo took your hand.

Minwoo: It wasn’t because of that.
