Third POV

"Hmph!" Taeyeon said as she pouted and sat at SNSD's usual lunch table earning a lot of googly eyes from the guys around her due to her adorable act. SNSD looked at Taeyeon curiously wondering what could possibly making her act this way. 

"Taeng, what's the matter?" Tiffany asked as she held the urge to pinch her cute puffed out cheeks as Taeyeon continued to pout and was now mumbling to herself ignoring her surroundings as she was deep in thought. She came back to reality after hearing Tiffanys question looking up straight away looking like a lost little puppy as she looked around trying to recall the conversation they were having but unfortunately nothing came to mind so she just let out a dorky "Huh?" As she tilted her head slightly to the side. SNSD chuckled at her adorableness with Jessica patting Taeyeons head and all of them looking at Taeyeon with adoration, their actions only further confused Taeyeon as she looked down and mumbled to herself although the others also heard "Aigoo wae geurae?" 

They all laughed at Taeyeons cluelessness with Taeyeon now sulking because the girls were teasing her. "Mianhe unnie, we were just wondering if you were alright but you acted so adorably just now we couldn't help but treat you like that." Seohyun said as she and the rest of the girls stopped laughing.

"Huh? Of course I'm alright. I'm just annoyed right now is all." Taeyeon said with a heavy sigh, it's been a week since she and Kris agreed to just be friends for the moment with Kris courting her but the problem was that Kris hadn't been trying to woo her at all. Ever since their talk she can feel that he has been avoiding her, whenever she came near him, him avoiding her seemed to have started after she met his younger sister Sulli. His sister was so sweet, kind and absolutely cute and the two of them hit it off straight away, however it was since then that Kris started to distance himself from her. She couldn't help but think that maybe Kris didn't like her anymore or maybe she did something to make him avoid her?

The girls saw Taeyeon drift back into her thoughts as they tried to figure out what could possibly annoying their best friend? Then they saw something, Kris had just walked pass their class gazing at Taeyeon with a longing look on his face, then he suddenly made eye contact with Taeyeon who then stood up and was about to call out to him but he ran away quickly before she could even utter a single word. SNSD were surprised but the scene they just saw but what surprised them even more was what came next.

"Omg Wu Yi Fan, if you want to avoid me then fine. I won't even try anymore!" Taeyeon shouted out letting all her frustration go before calming down and going back to normal with a happy smile on her face, or what SNSD would call her scheming face. Although they had only met Taeyeon this year they had already grasped what Taeyeon was really feeling behind her calm facade and it looks like this time she was out to get someone and that someone was Kris.

Kris suddenly felt a shiver run down his spine as he looked at his surroundings to find no one, being in his secret hiding place. He's the only one that knows about it and it's a place where he comes to think and to find peace, and right now he needed just that. He recalled Taeyeons dumbfounded face when he ran away from her just awhile ago and he ran his fingers through his hair in frustration.

He was avoiding her due to the advice he received from his sister when it came to girls, she told him to hold himself back from making a move on her as Taeyeon had probably had loads of guys come after her and it would be bad for Kris to act first as he would probably be just like the other guys that have gone for Taeyeon. So he has been restraining himself since then and trying hard not to talk to her but he is reaching his limit already as it's been a week since he got to hear her sweet angelic voice, it's been a week since he got to hold her in his arms, it's been a week since he's been able to see that gorgeous smile of hers or smell that lovely vanilla scent that seemed to always surround her whenever she is near. Just thinking of all these loveable things about her made him want to run to her right that moment and capture her in his arms, never letting her go, just staying like that forever. Oh how he wished he could but he was anticipating the conclusion drawn by his sisters advice "Leave her alone for a while and she will realise she can't live without you Oppa." Her words echoed in his mind as he built up his resolve once more, if it meant that Taeyeon wouldn't want to be seperated from him then he was more than willing to endure this separation for now.

Now that he had prepared himself once more, he stood up and walked to his next class, his class with Taeyeon. He had been skipping that particular class since he had been avoiding Taeyeon but he couldn't skip another one or else his attendance would drop low enough for his parents to be notified and he definitely didn't want that. But what he didn't know was that Taeyeon had planned a certain surprise for Kris when he came to class.

Taeyeon was waiting next to the door out of sight, for Kris to come so she could find out why he had been avoiding her. The door opened and as soon as Kris stepped in Taeyeon jumped on him giving him a kiss on the lips making him turn red and faint while everyone in the class were shocked at what had just happened while SNSD just laughed at the unconscious Kris since he was still affected by her kiss.

"I'm taking him to the infirmary, it seems that he fainted from fatigue." Taeyeon said dramatically with her dorky acting causing laughter to erupt from not only the class but the teacher as well since it was obvious she was the cause for him fainting, the teacher just nodded and sent them off marking them present and Taeyeon dragging Kris's unconscious body to the infirmary much to the surprise of those who saw her as she had no trouble at all with taking the heavy Kris's body to the infirmary.

Taeyeon put Kris on one of the beds and closed the curtains around the bed, luckily the doctor wasn't in or else she would have to deal with him before doing what she wanted to Kris. She then got a bucket of water and splashed Kris with it as she sat on him holding him down so he wouldn't escape again. Kris woke up with a shock as cold water washed over him with some entering his nose causing him to cough loudly, he was trying to get up but then he realised he was being pinned down by none other than the very girl who made him faint, Kim Taeyeon. This wasn't what he was expecting to be their reunion when he could finally talk to him again, the happy and cheerful Taeyeon he was expecting to see was replaced by an angry Taeyeon who was glaring at him making him flinch.

"Well Kris, care to explain why your avoiding me?" She whispered coldly into his ear sending shicpvers down his spine as she then smiled at him with a gorgeous smile however he could feel her irritation behind that smile with the aura he could feel surrounding her.

"W...well I...I was j...just trying to m...make s....sure you wouldn't leave me." Kris stuttered out as he cursed himself for stuttering, however he felt extremely intimidated by her overwhelming aura.

Taeyeon looked at him confused not understanding what he was talking about "Leave? But I'm not going anywhere, why would you think that?" Taeyeon said in confusion thinking of what could possibly make him think she was leaving?

Kris then explained about his sisters advice to him and why he had been avoiding her causing Taeyeon to lose all her energy as she got off of Kris and landed next to him on the bed. "Is that all? I thought I did something to you or that you didn't like me anymore." Taeyeon said exasperated at the whole situation.

Kris jolted at her comments and said seriously "What? My feelings for you would never change, why would you even think that?" Earning a smack on the fore head by Taeyeon as she sat up and looked Kris in the eyes with a frustrated look on her face.

"Aish, you were avoiding me like I was some kind of disease so what else would I have thought pabo." Taeyeon said as she was irritated that he actually tried to scold her for thinking normally about the situation he created. "It should be me saying that seeing as you think that I might leave you. Didn't we already go through this before? I always want to be with you Kris, I feel safe and warm in your embrace and your presence calms me as I know that your there for me always. To think you would make me feel insecure and lonely for such a stupid reason." Taeyeon continued as she caressed his face with a sad look on her face shooting an arrow straight through Kris's heart. How could he be so stupid?

 Kris grabbed a hold of her hand on his face and pulled her into his embrace, "I'm sorry for what I did Taeyeon, I had no idea what you were feeling and just thought of my own selfishness, please don't make that kind of face again, it hurts me to see you like that. You deserve all the happiness in the world and I hope I will be able to give you that happiness so forgive me would you Taeng?" He said as he looked Taeyeon I the eyes with so much intensity she thought she would melt, he was incredibly sincere and serious about his words making her heart beat faster. 

Taeyeon then started moving in to kiss him but he stopped her and said worriedly "I can't handle your kiss yet Taeyeon, I don't want to faint and miss out on this moment." Taeyeon chuckled at his cute worried face and shook her head cutely.

"No can do mister, I'll kiss you as many times as it takes for you to get used to it so you better be prepared." Taeyeon said mischievously as she landed her lips on his and started to kiss him passionately, unfortunately he passed out just 10 seconds into the kiss.

Taeyeon pulled out as she found out he fainted again, she then pecked him on the lips again before snuggling into him choosing to take a nap as she was exhausted from all the worrying she went through.

"Yah, yah, yah! What are you doing?!" Heechul shouted waking Taeyeon and Kris up from their sleep. Taeyeon looked at Heechul sleepily before rolling her eyes saying "Five more minutes Oppa" before snuggling into Kris and trying to sleep again but Kris removed himself from her as he felt the murderous intent from Heechul at that moment and he knew that he was serious as he himself had that same intent whenever Sulli was with a guy.

"Oppa~ come back, I want my pillow back~" Taeyeon whined childishly as she rolled on the bed throwing a temper tantrum as she is annoyed by the disturbance to her sleep. This made Heechul glare fiercely at Kris who flinched at the scary glare. Heechul then went to the sleepy Taeyeon and lay down with her calming her down and shushing her to sleep to which she eventually fell asleep again.

Heechul then carefully got out of bed and took Kris out of the room and then grabbed him by the collar pushing him up against a wall, "What exactly were you doing with Taeng in the infirmary alone?" Heechul said menacingly as he roughly pulled on Kris's collar.

"We didn't do anything okay? I couldn't even if I wanted to since I faint every time she kisses me." Kris explained not wanting to be misunderstood by him as he seems very important to Taeyeon.

"Yah! Don't lie to me, what kind of man faints with just one kiss?!" Heechul shouted angrily at his stupid lie, but then he saw the look of embarrassment on Kris's face, finally understanding the situation as he laughed at him holding his stomach letting go of his collar as he laughed so much until he cried.

Kris began to get irritated seeing Heechul laugh at him for so long saying cooly "Now that you know I'll be going now. Oh and by the way she kissed me and that's why I was sleeping, later." Kris then walked away from the now fuming Heechul as he has had enough humiliation for the day.

Heechul heaved a huge sigh as he entered the infirmary seeing the innocent looking Taeyeon fast asleep, he went to her her hair as he watched her sleep. "Omma" Heechul heard her mumble out catching his attention immediately as she began to cry in her sleep with Heechul trying to sooth her. This was not the first time he had seen Taeyeon cry in her sleep as she called out for her mother, although Heechul doesn't know about her past with her mother, he knows enough to know that she is scarred by her mother and the wound is still open but Taeyeon conceals it not showing it to anyone.

"Taeyeon ah, what happened between you and your mom for you to cry in your sleep like this?" Heechul whispered as Taeyeon was now holding him tightly as she sobbed in his embrace apologising over and over again, with Heechul confused about what she was apologising for.

"Taeyeon, you still haven't gotten over it have you?" Taemin whispered to himself as he was listening in on what was happening with Taeyeon in the infirmary. He then walked away to a quiet place as he rang someone on his phone:

"Yobeoseyo?"

"Neh, Jong Kook, it's Taemin....."
