Breakfast was surely awkward, both didn’t know what to say but pretend they are busy eating to say anything. “Thank you for the breakfast,” Jessica got up after finishing her breakfast as fast as she could. She wanted to avoid the awkwardness, the confrontation because that Jessica hated the most. “Are you off to school,” obvious question which Donghae asked. Again, it was another method to keep the conversation going.

He didn’t mind confrontation but he was scared of talking about it. The somehow got nervous even thinking about it, talking about it would make Donghae feel even more nervous. Jessica nodded as she took her bag to get up to go, “So bye.” The girl didn’t know what to do next, each second she was loosing her cool and become this love sick puppy. Jessica didn’t know how what else to say next so with that she gave him a smile and left. 

Stupid, stupid, stupid was all Donghae could describe himself. Sure he didn’t plan to confess so suddenly but he should have had some idea on how to treat the situation. He has been crushing on Jessica for years, in those years he could have a least thought of a way to confess to her. He hated how awkward he treated this situation. He could tell Jessica was going to die with the awkwardness. 

So Donghae decided to take the day off school, he wasn’t in the mood to do any work. He just wants to think and reflect on his actions and find new ways to not make interactions with Jessica so awkward. He needed to nap it out, so Donghae went to the bedroom and laid on the warm cozy bed. He didn’t sleep instead he thought of implementing ways to talk to Jessica without making it awkward.

Jessica exited out of the last lecture for the day. She honestly didn’t want to go to school but if it was to avoid the awkwardness and Donghae then school would be the prime destination for her. Not once did she listen to the lecture talk, she didn’t even open her book to write. She just sat in her classes looking out in a distance, thinking what to do next.

Her mind was in some place else, thinking about all things related to her husband. As she approached the college gates, Donghae who was behind it could see Jessica walking towards it holding her books to her chest. When it was the right time Donghae quickly appeared in front of Jessica. 

Normal people would react by showing their excitement seeing their love interest, however this was Donghae and Jessica. Jessica suddenly grew frightened of Donghae’s sight and Donghae screamed back because her scream feared him. The two look like idiots in front of the highly sophisticated college students that attend Jessica’s prestigious school. “Ya what are you doing here?” Jessica yelled at Donghae.

“I’m here to surprise you,” but Donghae ended up being the surprised one. “I didn’t know you would be so scared,” Jessica just glared at him. There is hit her, their awkwardness isn’t a big issue. They just forgot how they usually would treat themselves. If they interact normally before they confessed then they wouldn’t be so awkward around each other. “More like scare me, I thought you were some murder!” Jessica brushed herself off trying to recover from that embarrassing moment.
