Seoyeon couldn’t believe her ears. Did L just really confess to her? I mean, she’s known his name since they were in grade school because they’ve been in the same class and going to the same school since. It would be weird if she didn’t know the people in her classroom, you know that I mean.
And besides, why was he suddenly confessing to her? Was it because he finally knew her identity? Because she was from the Yoon family, is that why?
“Myungsoo-ssi,” Seoyeon started. There goes the formality again. L frowned upon hearing that. “I think you’ve gotten your feelings mistaken. We’ve been in the same class since grade school and all, but I don’t think you’ve gotten your emotions…correct.” Seoyeon explained.
L pinched his eyebrows together, “What?” Seoyeon looked into his eyes, “I’m sorry but I can’t accept your feelings. I don’t know why you’re all of a sudden confessing to me, but I think you’ve mistaken your feelings for me.”
She averted her eyes and looked over at the pool. Then she turned back to L, who was just standing there stunned. Seoyeon bite her bottom lip, casting her eyes down. She then spotted her shoes that L was still holding.
“Seoyeon,” L started softly. Seoyeon snapped her head up and looked at him. He stared into her eyes making her unable to move like his gaze hypnotized her.
“My feelings for you are real. I’m not mistaken about my feelings for you. I have really liked you for a long time. I’ve been also watching you for afar.” L accidently blurted. That snapped something in Seoyeon.
She stared at him in horror. He has been watching her from afar? What in the world was that supposed to mean? Was he…stalking her?!
“You’ve been…stalking me?!” Seoyeon asked in disbelief. L looked away ashamed. *. Kim Myungsoo, you just sold yourself out.*
Seoyeon couldn’t believe it. He had really been stalking her. Then it hit her. All those time that she felt like someone was watching or following her was true! It wasn’t her imagination.
“No wonder you followed me that day.” Seoyeon muttered. L’s ears turned red in embarrassment. “I was just-” “Stalking me then I know that now.” Seoyeon cut him off. “It’s not that. I have my reasons of doing so.”
Seoyeon turned around, “I don’t want to hear it. Myungsoo-ssi, you seem like a nice person, but I don’t think its right for you to stalk people like this. It’s wrong…and creepy.”
L felt like she had stabbed his heart and instead of pulling the knife out, she deepened the cut. “Seoyeon-ah,”
Seoyeon shook her head, “No, please don’t call my name.” She turned back to face him. “I know you might be hurt by my harsh words, but I can’t let this continue on. This happened once already and I don’t want to repeat history, so please leave me alone.” With that, she snatched her heels from L’s hands and walked away.
L watched Seoyeon walk away with a heavy heart. Oops. Did I say heavy? I meant broken heart. He watched her leave with a broken heart that seemed to be impossible to mend back together then something hit him.
“What did she mean by ‘this happened once already’?” His eyes then widened. “Oh ! Someone talked her in the past like I was…no wonder she was so scared. But who…?” Then his eyes narrowed. “It better not had
