Chapter Thirty-Three

The next day Mina woke up and still felt like the world was still crumbling around her, but it made her feel better when she felt warmth around her. Two arms pulling her in; into the depths of Jiho's warm chest. A small smile cracked on her lips as she turned her body around to look at Jiho's sleeping face, as peaceful as always and as handsome as ever. Mina ran her fingertips over his facial structures, tiny fingers tracing his temple to his jawline.

Mina let out a sigh, how did she ever get lucky enough to find such a man in her life? A man that loved her and devoted himself to her, just thinking about it made her heart swelled. This was real love, something so rare in the world. Two people meeting and mutually having the same feelings as the other; at the same time. It was some what magical; no matter how corny that sounded. And out of all the girls that Jiho could have to himself, there he was in bed with her; holding her close and keeping her safe.

Mina leaned up to place a gentle kiss on Jiho's lips, making sure it was soft enough so she wouldn't wake him up. After her kiss she just laid there and watched him, how his face scrunches up cutely when something happened in his dream made her giggle a little; he was more than what she ever asked for. Mina could smell his scent again on her, the scent that she loved to inhale so much; it was like a drug and she could never get enough of it. After an hour Jiho finally stirred and opened his eyes to see Mina looking at him with sparkling eyes, was she watching him this entire time?

The thought of her studying his face while he was sleeping made his face hot, he didn't know why but he suddenly felt shy. “Good morning handsome.” Mina whispered, a smile already on her beautiful face. Jiho couldn't help but have a smile spread across his face as well, he gave her a morning kiss and tasted those sweet lips that always made his heart race.

“And good morning to you my beautiful wife.” Jiho replied back as he pulled her closer to snuggle, her head pressing against his chest; she could hear his rapid heart-beating. Which made her even happier because he still felt the exact same excitement she did when they started this relationship.

They laid there for a few more minutes before Mina reluctantly detached herself and got up to prepare for the day, she had work after all and couldn't miss so many days. But the plans were changed when she was fully dressed in her work attire, Jiho had told her that he already called her in to miss another day because they had to go to the hospital.

Mina was kind of scared to go to the hospital because what if there was something wrong with her like some type of dangerous sickness that'll make her leave Jiho's side forever? Her stomach began to feel queasy again and that same old dizzy feeling overcame her body. Jiho looked at her with concern as they drove to the hospital, it was painful for him to see her sick. He grabbed her hand in his and gave her a encouraging light squeeze, which was something she really needed; the stress level immediately fizzling down.

They arrived and checked in and within a few minutes they were in the doctor's office, Mina and the doctor exchanged information to what have been happening to her and for how long. After a while the doctor decided to do some check-ups on Mina's body and as Mina sat with Jiho waiting for the results the tension in the room was high.

Jiho smiled at her reassuringly and told her that everything was going to be okay, leaning her head on Jiho's shoulder all she could do was hope that he was right. The doctor came back with a large envelope in her hands and a big grin on her face, which meant the news was going to be good.

“Congratulations to the both of you, you guys are going to be bringing a child into this world.” The doctor smiled at the lovely couple as she gave them the large envelope.

“How long has she been pregnant?” Jiho asked excitedly, bringing a child into the world with Mina was one of the things he hoped for and now that it's true he couldn't help but be super happy. His heart swelled just thinking about how it would feel to be the father of a wonderful baby boy or a beautiful baby girl.

“It's been several weeks now.” The doctor smiled at the couple as she began to type information about the check-up into the computer.
