Chapter Thirty One

Mina tried to relax in the bath water as she scrubbed her body mindlessly, the pain of the rough brush no longer stinging. The rough bristles cut into her raw skin, leaving faint streaks of red up and down her body. She needed to scrub off all the dirt, all the marks, all the touches from him. The numbing pain seeped through her skin as she stared into space, trying to remain herself that it’ll only get better from here or so she could only hope. As hours passed her tears started to fall from her eyes, the pain coursed through her. With shaking hands she pulled up her knees and wrapped her arms around them, placing her head on the her knees; broken sobs escaped her lips. She was so immersed in her thoughts that she didn’t hear the knock on the door or the door opening.

“Mina?” Woo Bin’s asked, with a waver of anxiety in his voice as he saw her frail figure.

Mina continued sobbing, the bath water now at a cool temperature; it’s been hours now that she’s been in the bathroom. Woo Bin placed a hand gently on her shoulder but she only flinched at his touch, her head whipped to look up at him. The pain etched into her eyes, every little splinter of hurt shown through them.

“You’ve been in here for hours, it’s time to get out.” Woo Bin said softly, his chest constricting from seeing the look in her eyes.

Mina shook her head as another tear rolled down her eyes, she couldn’t find it in herself to speak. Her voice was gone, she was so terrified of this man before her that she couldn’t even mutter a single word to him. Woo Bin rubbed the back of his head and let out a big sigh, he grabbed the towel and wrapped it around Mina before picking her up. “You’ll get sick, the flight will be here in another three hours.” He placed her with care on the bed and tucked her in, he sat down next to her after; only to have her face the total opposite way.  Woo Bin took another look at her before getting up and packing up her belonging before they had to leave for the flight.

Another hour rolled by with Mina laying there, staring at the white walls; this place held so much happiness but all she could think about now was the terrible things that also happened here. She needed Jiho beside her right now, she needed his comfort; his warmth, his scent, *him*. Right then her phone rang, the familiar melody playing softly; it took her a moment to realize that the call was from Jiho. She looked at the phone and wondered if she could even speak to him right then, she felt as if she would shatter if she were to hear his voice.
