"Oh. I see..." You trailed off. A few seconds after you said it, your eyes bulged. "Wait-what?! M-mate?!"

D.O. shrugged nonchalantly. "Yeah..I met my mate."

You beamed fake-excitedly. Somehow, your heart dropped into your stomach and was consumed by it's acids. You shivered at the image and focused on D.O. "Oh! That's great...who is she?"

He scratched the back of his head and looked away. "I can't tell you that." He replied quietly. A small tint of pink appeared on his cheeks.

You shrugged and gave him a small smile. You twisted your fingers anxiously underneath the pillow that was laid in your lap and noticed Sehun shifting on the sofa besides the one you sat on. An awkward silence swept into the room, and the seven of you just stared at each other.

"Well.." You cleared your throat. "How is she like? You can at least tell me that..right?" You added on for confirmation. D.O. exchanged glances with Suho, who shrugged and gave you a warm smile.

"I'm sure D.O. doesn't mind. He's just too shy to talk about her." He chuckled, and ruffled D.O.'s hair with a brotherly aura surrounding him. D.O. smacked his hand away. "Stop it, hyung." He muttered, then looked up at you. His eyes were wide, shiny, and full of something you couldn't understand. Was he finally warming up to you, though?

"No." He grumbled.

Your eyes softened, and you sighed internally. Did you have to use a special weapon to get an answer out of him? You waited a few seconds for him to surrender. 

D.O. sighed. "What do you want to hear?" He inquired with a defeated tone. Behind him, Chanyeol held his hand out and Baekhyun reluctantly slapped a few bills of won on his outstretched hand. Kai snickered, and high-fived Chanyeol, who split the money between them. Sehun rolled his eyes and buried his face into a nearby pillow.

You smiled. "How is she like?" You repeated, and lifted your legs onto the sofa to sit criss-crossed. You leaned in excitedly, and his eyes widened. You didn't notice him move away.

"U-um...she's alright.."

Sehun's head shot up and gave D.O. a glare. "Hyung! Alright?! Who do you think you're talking about, she's a freaking ange-"

"Yah, yah." Suho scolded. "Sehun, don't be so disrespectful."

Sehun's lips tightened into a thin line, and he looked away. You blinked at him. Had they already met this girl? Sehun seemed to really like her. That same feeling of your heart being dissolved in your stomach acid came back and you put pressure against your thumb with your forefinger.

"She has long brown hair, and the most beautiful hazel eyes." D.O. described, and tapped his chin. "She didn't really like me at first, and I don't think she does now. Though, she's starting to talk to me more...and she's called me 'Oppa'."

You nodded, and gave his hand a small pat. "I hope she and you get closer." You said softly.

"I would like that." He agreed, and you stood. You stretched, and let out a small yawn.

"Well, I'm going to go and freshen up." You decided, and rubbed your eyes. Suho nodded.
