CH 21 ~ ACE
I'm Trapped (Discontinued)
You sat in the car nervously as you waited for the members to arrive. Sitting there alone you thought back to what Mr Kim had said the night before. " I have warned you that something like this would happen one day. Now that the news has broke out you have to fix the problem. Come to the company tomorrow, I'll call in Hyukjae and we will all talk." You didn't want to be in the same room with Mr Kim if Eunhyuk will be there. He still doesn't know about the blackmailing and the stuff in the past. You can't even imagine how he would react if he did. You don't want him to think irrationally and throw away his dream just because of someone like you. You reached into your bag and took out your phone. You have a way to get rid of Mr Kim but you need to find a way to use the evidence you have without jeopardizing Eunhyuk's career. Also there was the whole other issue with Krystal. You pressed your forehead against the cold glass window and let out a heavy sigh. How can everything go wrong in such a short period of time. You were pulled out of your trance when you heard a bunch of girls screaming. You craned your neck and saw everyone crowding around the entrance. You slid down your seat even though the windows were tinted just to be safe incase someone caught a glimpse of you when the boys come. You heard the door slide open and the voices outside were magnified even louder almost deafeaning you. Once the door slammed shut you turned around to find yourself face to face with Luhan. " AHHHHHHHHH" he shouted falling back into his seat and you clutched your chest surprised at his sudden outburst. " Luhan hyung you scared the living daylights out of me!" Sehun said. " I didn't know someone was in the car already," he said. " Sorry about that," he added afterwards. Finally composing yourself you let out a small smile. " It's fine. But why are you guys in this van?" you asked confused. Suho leaned forward so that you could hear him better, " Super Junior sunbaenims had to take the other car incase fans followed them to try and see if you were in there waiting for them. So we switched vans until we get to the company." You nibbled on your bottom lip. So I guess I won't be seeing Eunhyuk beforehand then you thought to yourself. " It's okay, we'll be here to entertain you!" Chanyeol said giving you his huge grin. You smiled at him but noticed Kris staring at you from the back seat. Your eyes locked on one another before he broke it first looking out the window. You wondered why he was looking at you so intensely. The managers were last to climb in before the car started pulling out of the airport. You looked out to scenery outside as the boys behind you started breaking out into laughter and conversations, leaving you to collect your own thoughts. Little did you know that Kris was watching over you.
Arriving at SM all the boys loudly stumbled out of the van and you followed their lead into the building. They all bid you goodbye and you made your way to Mr Kim's office alone. You saw Eunhyuk sitting outside with his head in his hands, walking over you gently his hair and he looked up at you. " ____" he said embracing you. " Everything will be okay. I promise." You nodded wanting to believe him but you knew things were far from being okay. You held his hand as the two of you made your way into Mr Kim's office. You stopped walking remembering how you were on your knees begging Mr Kim to let you stay with Eunhyuk the last time you were in here. Eunhyuk squeezed your hand and tugged you gently to follow him. Mr Kim was sitting on the couch sipping from his mug not bothering to even look up. " Have a seat," he said putting his drink down on the table then clasping his hands together in his lap. Eunhyuk seated you down still holding onto your hand as he sat beside you looking at Mr Kim. " So you both know why I called you in here today," he paused finally making eye contact with you. " News broke out that Eunhyuk is in a relationship. This has blown up all over the news and netizens are talking about it everywhere." He took a deep breath and cleared his throat. " So what do we do now?" he asked you coldly. Eunhyuk who was oblivious to everything that has happened between you and Mr Kim spoke up first. " We could wait until this whole thing dies down, I'm sure there will be other news that will take people's attention away." " Hyukjae it's not that simple. There will be people who will keep hunting you down until they get the very last detail about your relationship. And what will you do when they ask you about it on shows?" Eunhyuk bit his lip and hesitated. Mr Kim stood up and walked over to the window that over looked the city, looking out into it. " There is a simple solution to this whole mess." You braced yourself knowing what he was going to say next. " Break off your relationship. Then we can issue an official company statement saying that Krystal was just joking and that ___ah is just a friend of yours." Eunhyuk looked at you than at Mr Kim. " Can't we just say that without breaking off our relationship? It's not like anyone would know the truth. We'll just get Krystal to admit that she was playing around and didn't mean it." " We could do that. But there will be a higher risk now for someone to catch the two of you together. Then how would we explain things? It would be much easier for your career and yourself if you just cut off ties from her." You stared at your lap not knowing what to say. Eunhyuk stood up, " Mr Kim I know you are trying to think of what's best for me, but you can't say that about ___. It's not her fault that this whole mess happened, if you had to blame someone it would be Krystal," he said defensively. " Everybody makes mistakes. I will talk to Krystal later about this matter but right now the focus is on your relationship." " Well I am not breaking up with her." You felt reassured that Eunhyuk was defending you but at the same time felt guilty for being such a nuisance to him. You slightly tugged on his jacket and Eunhyuk looked down at you. You pleaded with your eyes telling him that maybe he shouldn't be so forward to Mr Kim but he just gave you a slight smile. " Even if you lose fans? This is not just about you Hyukjae. The rest of your members are going to be affected, and Super Junior as a whole as well." Eunhyuk's mouth slacked as he tried to find the words to say. " I'll give you some time to think about it. I hope you eventually come to your senses and pick the right choice." Mr Kim turned around and looked straight at you, " Same goes for you Miss ___." He gave Eunhyuk one last look before making his way out of the room. The door closed with a bang, echoing off the walls inside the quiet room. Eunhyuk sat down beside you without saying a word. You reached over and held his hand trying to comfort him. " Eunhyuk-ah," you said softly. His dark brown eyes looked up at you. You could tell that he was already stressed about what to do with the matter and you felt as if someone took a knife to your heart. " Maybe we should-" he cut you off by pulling you against his chest, holding you close to him. " It's okay. I'll talk things through with him. I won't let you leave me again." You pulled away and looked at him. " Eunhyuk…Maybe we should take a break," you whispered after much thought. Eunhyuk's eyes widened in alarm and panic started to seep through. " Not break up. Just time apart from each other until everything is resolved. Things will be complicated if we're always together," you explained to him. He tightened his grasp on you and his expression hardened. " I don't want to be apart from you. What if you won't come back? We just fixed our relationship and now you want to leave again?" You traced his palm with your thumb and said, " Eunhyuk. I will come back. Didn't I promise you that I will always trust and never leave you? I will keep that promise." He let out a sigh before hugging you again. " Wait for me. Everything will be okay soon. I'll protect you." You nodded. Even though you were the one that brought up the idea of the break, inside you didn't want to leave him. You didn't want to feel that emptiness of being alone again after being in his warm embrace. But sometimes we sacrifice things for the other when we are in love. For now you'll just have to be strong and wait.

The next day you woke up and looked to the empty space beside you. The fact that you're going to be alone for awhile finally seeped in and you suddenly felt really lonely. It was only the first day, you can't be like this. Determined to stay positive you quickly scrambled out of bed and got yourself ready for the day.
With a mug of freshly brewed coffee you sat down at the kitchen table booting your laptop to life. You checked your emails and browsed the web, watching funny videos that made your mouth hurt from laughing so much. You saw that one of your close friends from Canada was online and decided to message her since it has been awhile.
Hey :)
Hey! Wow it has been awhile ____! How are you?
I've been good, how is everything in Canada?
Oh you know, the usual: Cold and Snow. I bet you miss all of this eh?
Well we have our fair share of that here so I think I am good.
How are things in Korea? Have you gotten a bf yet? If you do and didn't tell me I will be very angry with you ^-^
You laughed at her comment. Even after not talking to her for awhile, everything seemed to pick up from when you last talked. But you haven't told her that you were dating Eunhyuk yet and right now is probably not the best time to tell her. After much thought you decided to play it safe for now.
Things are fine. But you'll have to come here and see for yourself. Now does this fine lady have a certain man in her life?
Does unofficially marrying myself to Cho Kyuhyun count?
You almost spit out your coffee but managed to swallow it down before any damage was done. You totally forgot that she was a huge ELF.
I'm sure Kyuhyun-sshi would love to know that he's married to someone that lives halfway across the world.
I wish… I'll never meet him. I envy you for living so close to them

Speaking of Super Junior though, have you heard the news about Krystal and Eunhyuk? I personally don't know why everyone is so upset, I'm happy for him. It's about time he has a freaking girlfriend. Krystal is probably just jealous and has nothing better to do with her life
You wanted to reach into the screen and hug her. If only she knew how much her words meant to you at this moment.

She signed off before you could say anything back. The still same old girl who's always late for everything. Thinking back on what she said you were curious about what everyone was saying about the problem. You will probably curse yourself later but you looked up Eunhyuk's name into the search engine and pulled up some articles. Most of them were talking about who you could possibly be and why SM hasn't say anything about the issue yet. You scrolled down to the comments and read a few:
Who the hell does this girl think she is? Krystal is so much better. She has the looks the talent and everyone likes her.

You stopped reading and slowly closed your screen. So all of Krystal's fanbase hates you. How is it possible to even hate someone that you don't even know? You tried to not let their mean comments hurt you but you're just another human being. You have feelings and knowing that people hate you hurts deep inside. A knock on your door pulled you out of your pit of hate and you got up to go see who it is. As soon as the door was opened 2 bodies came tumbling in and fell in front of you. You looked up to see Kris staring back at you alarmed and before you could ask why he was here the two bodies finally untangled from the ground and got up. " ______AH!!" someone shouted and pulled you into a bone crushing hug. " YAH DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THAT HURT FALLING ON TOP OF ME?! YOU'RE LIKE A HEAVY LOG" another familiar voice shouted. Whoever hugged you finally let go and you saw that it was Chanyeol and Chen was standing beside him fixing his hair. You were speechless but managed to spit out, " Why are you guys here? Wait how did you know where I lived?" " We ran into Eunhyuk Sunbaenim and he said that you probably needed someone to come and keep you company," said Chanyeol with a huge grin. Chen nodded his head in agreement. " Guys I appreciate the thought but-," you were cut off by Kris who finally spoke up. " Just let them be. They won't take no as an answer. Trust me." You looked at him skeptically still wondering why he was here, unless he was planning to try and keep you company as well. Kris noticed your gaze and let out an awkward cough running his hand through his hair. " I uh..I came to make sure these two doesn't cause trouble," he explained. You noticed he had a bag behind him but didn't get a chance to ask him when you noticed the other two was gone. You invited Kris in and the two of you walked into your living room to see Chanyeol and Chen wresting on the floor. " GIMMIE THE REMOTE!!!!" " NOOOOO I FOUND IT FIRST" " YOU STUPID TREE JUST GIVE IT TO ME!!!" Kris let out a sigh and walked over there breaking them apart. " You guys give me a headache," he said returning the remote to you. You laughed already feeling better already.
The guys ended up staying with you for the whole afternoon. You had a karaoke contest with Chen who you never noticed had such a beautiful voice and it was no surprise that he won every game. Then a dance battle broke out between Chen and Chanyeol who ended up dancing to girl groups instead of their own songs. It was a fun afternoon, there wasn't a moment when you weren't doubling over laughing or staying still. Kris sat on the couch for the whole time just observing the 3 of you goofing off and having fun. The other two tried forcing him to join along but he would give them a cold stare and they would back off right away. You wondered what he could be thinking about just sitting there.
Chanyeol and Chen were passed on the floor, with their legs tangled together. They looked like two little children who was having so much fun and exhausted themselves to sleep. You slowly pulled a blanket that you retrieved over them and made your way to the couch where Kris was still sitting. " I never thought I would see the day that those two are fast asleep," you said laughing. " I enjoy these moments. Once they're awake they won't shut up," he replied massaging his temples with his eyes closed. You looked over at him observing his face. You never noticed how round and pretty his eyes were and his soft pink lips. He actually has a soft side to them that you would never see under his cold front. He unexpectedly opened his eyes and caught you staring at him. You looked away, flushed and embarrassed that you were just observing another man. A moment of silence passed on by and you didn't know what to say first. Thankfully Kris started the conversation. " How are you keeping up with the whole Eunhyuk situation?" You let out a sigh. " I'm okay…I guess. I decided we should have a break so things will be much easier for him" " But wouldn't that mean it would be harder on you?" he asked. You looked over at him. " I would do anything for Eunhyuk, even if it means I have to suffer alone." " You don't have to suffer alone…You could always come talk to me." You weren't sure if you had heard right until he continued, " I'll be here if you need someone." " Uh..thank you," you weren't sure why he was being so nice to you, afterall you just met a few days prior but just having him here gives off a calming aura. He leaned to the side and retrieved the bag that he brought with him. He pulled something that resembled a stuff animal out of it and set it on his lap. " This is ace" You stifled a laugh. You would've never thought in a million years that someone like Kris would carry around a stuff animal, more so name it. " Annyeong ace," you said to the Alpaca. " A fan gave this to me and ever since it hasn't left my side. He's like a son to me" he said. You felt bad but you couldn't contain your laughter anymore and it came out louder than expected. You clasped a hand over your mouth to force yourself to stop. " I'm sorry. It just seems out of character for you," you said apologetically. " That's true but when I feel like I can't talk to my members about stuff I would spill all my thoughts to ACE. He keeps me company at night when I miss my family,and I'll hold him close just to have that physical attachment to something." You suddenly felt bad for him. " So I want you to keep him for the time being. Seems like you need someone by your side to comfort you when you're alone," he said handing ACE over. You took him and felt how soft his fur was. " Is it okay? He seems really important to you," you said. " I'll be fine. I've been opening up to my members more now, so I still have them. Just take good care of my son for me" You smiled. " I will."
After that talk Kris woke Chanyeol and Chen up who was still half asleep and dragged them home before their manager wondered where they went off too. You made some dinner for yourself and enjoyed the meal alone but you had ACE sitting across from you at the table. Cleaning everything up you got yourself situated in bed pulling ACE against your chest. " It's okay. I have friends who are there for me and a boyfriend who loves me more than anything in the world. Everything will be alright," you mumbled to the plush. You noticed that it smelled like Kris and oddly enough that scent seems to soothe you and slowly your eye lids got heavier and you drifted off to sleep.

Donghae made his way to Mr Kim's office to see if he could somehow convince him to change his mind after what Eunhyuk told him last night. He stood outside the door about to knock when he heard voices inside of the room. He recognized Krystal's voice and Mr Kim who was talking to her.
" I talked to them yesterday about the issue. Seems like Hyukjae is dead set on not leaving her"
" Can't we force her to break up with him?"
" I made ____ break up with Hyukjae in the past. But unfortunately he got into that accident and she came back. But she should know that if she doesn't leave him for good, things will get more complicated for her. I've already warned her"
" But wouldn't that hurt Eunhyuk and Super Junior?"
" Don't you worry. I won't let anything happen to the band, if anyone were to get hurt it would be her."
Donghae had heard enough. He slowly walked away and pressed his back against the wall near the elevators. So that was the reason why ____ left Eunhyuk. It wasn't her choice at all. It also seems like Krystal is in on the plan with Mr Kim. Donghae looked at you like a little sister and his protective side took over. He clenched his fist and tried to pace his breathing. How could someone who they all had looked up to do something like that. He heard foot steps down the hallway and Krystal turned around the corner. " Oh oppa? You're still here?". " Yeah I was going to go talk to Mr Kim," Donghae replied back trying to be casual as possible. " Let me guess, about Eunhyuk Oppa? Mr Kim seemed pretty serious when he talking about it." " I see.." " Well I don't blame him, it's all ____'s fault that Oppa has to go through so much. Without her everything would be so much easier." Donghae stood silently trying to calm himself down. but Krystal continued talking. " Like doesn't she know that she's being a huge bother? Eunhyuk could do so much better and-" " Shut. Up." Donghae spitted out. Krystal stopped talking and looked at him. She has never heard Donghae so mad before about anything. " Wae Oppa-" " Do you really think that this is ____ah's fault?" He looked up at her. She stumbled over her words trying to give him a response. " Well I mean yeah because-" " If it wasn't for you, none of this would've happened. Are you really that low enough to go mess with someone else's relationship? I thought so much more of you Krystal. But clearly you're just another pretty face with no heart at all. You better leave them alone or else you'll have to deal with me." With that he entered the elevator and left Krystal standing there dumbfounded.
This was one SUPER LONG update :') I am so proud. But I just had a lot of things to put into it. So there is SO MUCH happening in this chapter. What is going to happen between the couple now that they're on break? What is Mr Kim planning to do next? Why is Kris being so nice to her? SO MANY QUESTIONS :3 But I kinda love Chanyeol and Chen. They just make me happy aha. Also a new character is introduched in this chapter as the friend. We shall learn more about her in future updates. ALSO Donghae figured out the missing pieces in the puzzle. OHHH SNAP. I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOYED THIS CHAPTER. IT'S ABOUT TO GET MORE INTERESTING.
