  "Apparently Kai is going to be there at the dance" A girl announced as she sat in front of Kendall's mirror doing her make up.  All the girls in the room scream at the statement of Kai's presence at the dance. All the preteen girls screamed except Kendall who was standing behind her friends observing her friends cover their faces with make up.    Back then Kendall has just turned 13, nothing much has changed about her from her 18 year old self. She still has a long black hair that went down to her lower back and compared to her 18 year old self her physical features have changed a bit.    Personality wise, she has not changed at all. She was outgoing and had a lot of friends, belonged in many clubs at school but dedicated her time as a dancer. "So what if he will be there?" Kendall laughed it off nervously trying to sound confident. Kendall confident? Not even close, she was to excited at the same time she was nervous, nervous to meet up with her crush. 

A few days before Kendall was asked to the dance by her crush Kai, for awhile she has had a crush on him, after many months of following him behind a bush, trying to talk to him and acted like she saw him nothing but a friend, Kai finally asked her to the 8th grade dance which is an event on tonight. 

"So? Kendall, minhyun was told by, Jinuyk who was told by sohee, was told by jang hyun that Kai is going to confess to you" One of Kendall's friend squealed.    A bunch of 10 preeteens hogged Kendall's mirror and closet, preparing for the dance. Kendall wasnt that kind of girl, she simply applied some foundation and a light color of make up and step back to let her friends get ready for their first ever dance.    "But he totally likes you! How are you friends again?" one of Kendall's friend asked. Kendall shook her head, "No, my mum and his mum were best friends in college but now they hardly talk, also we dance at the same dance studio" Kendall explained to her friends truthfully. Kendall was shy talking about her crush, only because she herself cannot believe that she likes a family friend. The relationship between Kai and Kendall was nothing more then friends who still have that awkward touch with each other. For them it was awkward to even talk to each other but at time they ad their moments, where their hands would touch simultaneously.    After getting ready they headed downstairs to be taken to the dance by a mini bus her father hired. Before leaving the house her mother pulled her back from the others. "I'm picking you up at 10 like it or not" Kendall mother ordered. "10? mother the dance finishes at 11" Kendall argued.    "I don't want you staying up late, you still have homework to do tomorrow. If it wasn't for your father I wouldn't allow you to go to this dance".    "Whatever, just ruin my social life mum" Kendall gave her mother attitude. This was not the first time, however her mother has been a pest for her, excluding her from a social activities and dancing, giving Kendall no choice but to walk away from her mother before she says something else.    The girls arrived at the dance, arriving in style. Upon arriving the dance they began dancing right away, but stopped when a group of guys approached their group. Kendall's friendship group was very popular in their school for being the nice popular girls. Along with Kendall and her popular group of friends, every school also has the popular group of guys and of course it was Kai's group. Kai's group headed their way to Kendall's group.   Being 13 year olds they were shy to even interact with each other. But their friends knew their feelings for each other and with the help of their friends Kendall and Kai were pushed to the middle, forcing them to talk.    Nothing much has changed about Kai to, back then he was also still awkward especially around Kendall. "uhhhh... y-y-you.... look pretty tonight.." Kai struggled to get the words out of his mouth. Kendall just smiled and thanked him. Before Kai could say anything he was stopped by the DJ on the stage playing a slow song. "Ahhhh..." Kai panicky sighs.    Again the two were pushed by their friends, making Kendall land on Kai's chest. Kendall just smiled and bowed before Kai's friend grabbed Kai's hands and placed it on Kendall's waist. Kendall flinched as the felt of Kai's manner hands were felt on Kendall's waist. Her knees started to get weak as the boy she has liked for months is touching in such a way. 

Kai on the other hand is beginging to sweat, even though in nervousness. Kendall couldn't let her hands just dangle on her side, so she awkwardly placed them on Kai's shoulders. Along with the music the two swayed to the music trying to avoid eye contact. It wasnt long for the two to get comfortable with each other, especially when their friends left the two and slowed dance with other people.    The two didn't say anything to each other, but before the song finished Kai took the chance to kiss Kendall on the lips. His sweet lips touched Kendall's making Kendall feel and feeling, a feeling she has never felt before.    Yes this was Kendall's first kiss, same applied to Kai who planted the kiss. The kiss magic, no movement was made, it was nothing but a peck that lasted longer then it should have. Kendall was the first to break away making a more of an awkward atmosphere then before the kiss. Kai just looked at Kendall surprise, even though he was the one to make the first move he was surprise himself at what he just did. It not planned but he was just caught in the moment.    Embarrass Kai apologise many times but Kendall forgave him, besides she was glad that it was Kai that stole her first kiss and no she dosen't care at all. It was when the song finished when the Kai's friends all took him away from Kendall, leaving Kendall all by herself. Kai tried to stop his friends but his strength wasnt enough to let go I the stein hold his friends have one him.    Kendall's friends approuched Kendall who was watching Kai get dragged away. She did not fight back, because she knew it was just a joke between his friends and him, also she's to mesmerised by the kiss.    Kendall's friends all screamed seeing the kiss between her and Kai, being 13 year olds of course the first kiss was a big deal. So Kendall explained everything to her friends in the female bathroom. They all screamed when Kendall describe the heavenly kiss. Once explained it they all left the bathroom to enjoy the rest of the dance, but they were stopped when Kai's group of friends were hanging around the But it was Kai who grew confidence and asked Kendall to follow him before taking her hand and dragging her outside the hall where the dance was held. Without a word Kai took Kendall to a bench next to the schools track and field oval. This developed an even more of an awkward silence. "Ahh... Kendall I need to ask you something" Kai dragged on, finally saying something.     Kendall was to scared to say something so she just nodded indicating Kai to continue talking. "I love you..." Kai finally took the words out of his mouth. He's been wanting to confess to Kendall for awhile now, but he never got the guts to. Even now he is secretly dying of nervousness.    Kendall thought about it, she was going to say something when someone stopped her.... her mother. "Kendall! it's 11pm now" Kendall's mother yelled. Kendall about to answer Kai's confession bowed her head in disappointment upon seeing her mother approach her. "Kendall! come on let's go, it's 10" Kendall's mother took Kendall by the wrist.    "Mum!" Kendall pulled back."It's only 10 I said pick me up at 11 when the dance finishes. I can't go home now, I need to finish something!" Kendall pulled back her wrist. "Don't give me attitude" The heartless mother pulled back to. "Fine!" Kendall stood up but bends down to Kai's level. "Meet me tomorrow at the dance studio, ill be there the whole day" Kai wh
