It took a lot of time to finish her study mostly because Gyuri felt she only obligated to finish it because of the promise she and Jiyoung made. Jiyoung kept going back and forth to see her just to make sure she's doing her paper seriously although it clearly showed that Jiyoung slowly attached to Gyuri. Their moments mostly spent by bickering and nagging, but Gyuri felt happy ven when they both quarrel just like this morning. 

"Come here"

"Nope"

"I said come here"

"I don't wanna"

"Just get out of the bed for heaven sake, Park Gyuri"

"You need to give me the keyword first so i can move"

"Gosh, you're not a robot"

"I'm your Baymax"

"Nope you're not, just get out of the bed already"

Jiyoung kept on pulling Gyuri's arm just to make her get out of her bed, but Gyuri kept insisting as she held the bedpost. Jiyoung lost her cool so now she cupped Gyuri's face and gave her a longer kiss on the lips. 

"Now get out"

"Okay"

Gyuri grinned widely and left the bed willingly, she put her arm on Jiyoung's shoulder who was rolling her eyes to the side as they both walked to the living room. Jiyoung sat on the couch and Gyuri smiled softly as she saw breakfast is ready in front of them. It somewhat looked unappealing but for Gyuri it still cute so she took the sandwich that she believed Jiyoung's the one who made it. 

"Does it taste bad?"

"Hm, how should i say this?"

"Not good?"

"Hm, it's my first time i eat this kind of sandwich. So, uh...."

"Just tell me already"

"It's....a little salty.."

Gyuri looked at her fiance as she tried hard not to laugh because the sandwich taste really bad. Jiyoung pouted and ate the sandwich to taste it herself. Jiyoung ended up letting out her tongue and looked for water.

"Yah, it's too salty"

Just by seeing her fiance reaction Gyuri couldn't help but laugh, she even fell from the couch while holding on her stomach.Gyuri stood up and patted her head gently. 

"It's okay, it's still edible"

"I made it since early in the morning i even read the instruction..."

"You can learn more baby, i can wait"

Gyuri smiled and cuddled her fiance on the couch, trying to sooth upset Jiyoung. Jiyoung cried quietly on Gyuri's embrace. Gyuri didn't even notice it until she felt her shirt got wet. 

"Aigo, baby Jing it's okay. I'm not mad or anything"

"I just want to do something for you"

"You've done a lot for me, you just failed to notice it"

"I'm bad at cooking..."

"I told you, you just need to learn more. Even if you're bad a cooking i will still eat it because your effort that is count baby"

"Geez, stop being a smooth talker"

"Aigo, i'm just trying to cheer you up, moreover what's wrong with being sweet?"

Gyuri chuckled when Jiyoung kept hiding her face on Gyuri's chest. Gyuri held Jiyoung face and kissed her lips softly. She grinned widely when Jiyoung blinked rapidly and her face got red.

"Uh, i guess you need to go revise your paper today"

Jiyoung tried to change the subject of the attention as she didn't like it how Gyuri stared at her with eyes full of love since she felt all shy. Gyuri grinned and stood up, she nodded and went to the shower soon after. Jiyoung clean up the table and put the sandwich away. She sighed heavily, still upset about the result of her cooking. 

"Why can't i be like Nicole unni? Should i call her?"

Jiyoung held her phone and stared at the screen, she hesitantly dialed Nicole's number and her dry lips. 

"Hello, this is Nicole"

"Ah, hello Nicole unni"

"Hi, Jiyoung~"

"Um, i wanna ask something"

"What is it?"

"I...uh...how to make good sandwich? I followed the instruction of the book but i still failed"

"Eh? Really?"

Jiyoung could hear Nicole giggled on the the phone, she even could hear Hara laughed out loud. She felt more upset but someone came and hug her from behind. Jiyoung startled at first, she turned her head around and saw a smiling Gyuri behind her. 

"Ugh, why are you here?"

Jiyoung covered her phone so her voice couldn't be heard by Nicole. Gyuri kissed her cheek and went to her room immediately, leaving clueless Jiyoung who was staring blankly at her. 

"Jiyoung ah"

"Ah, yeah"

"I thought you aren't there"

"I'm still here, you can continue unni. I'll write it down"

"Sure, first........"

Jiyoung wrote down all the steps and nodded everytime Nicole gave her some explanation about the details. She's focusing wrote down on her note that Gyuri shook her head and giggled softly after she wore her clothes and prepared to go. She ruffled her fiance's hair and bid goodbye, but Jiyoung only nodded not even looked at her.

Gyuri walked out of the professor office with a gloomy face, she walked slow when Youngji passed her by. Youngji stopped and approached her with a worried expression. She called Gyuri while waving her hand several times in front of her.

"Unni, Gyuri unni"

"Huh? Oh, hello Youngji ah. What is it?"

"Are you okay unni? You look gloomy"

"Ah, uh...."

"What's wrong?"

"It's just...."

"Did your paper got rejected again?"

"Uh, no"

"Then what is it that bothering you?"

"I'm just thinking about something else"

"So it's not about your paper? I thought you are gloomy because of that"

"Nah, i just get the sign from the professor and i'm about to sign in for thesis defense next week"

"Woah, really? Congratulation unni"

Youngji hug her and patted her back as she felt happy for her, but Gyuri only smiled faintly. Youngji looked at her with a frown in her face, she's confused why Gyuri didn't seem that happy at a moment like this.

"My fiance is going back to Korea next week, i'm not sure if i can ask her to stay any longer here since she's busy with her work lately. I'm not even sure whether to tell her this or not"

"Just tell her unni, she need to know this"

"But...."

"Just do it unni, if she loves you she will delayed her departure for you i'm sure"

"She'll probably do that but i'll feel guilty for her neglecting her job"

"Don't be unni"

Youngji tried her best to convince Gyuri, she looked so serious that Gyuri chuckled softly when she watched Youngji's facial expression. Youngji pouted as she felt like she's being laughed at.

"I'm sorry, it's just your face look so funny right now"

"You're so mean unni"

"I'm sorry, l'll buy you your favorite food for cheering me up earlier. I'm so hungry i didn't eat properly this morning"

"Uh...you sure it's okay unni?"

"Why?"

"I'm just,..."

"Why? What is it?"

"Ah, it's nothing unni. Let's go"

Youngji shook her head and linked her arm with Gyuri, she smiled slightly as they both walked to the cafetaria. Jiyoung held her bag tight, she turned around and walked to the opposite direction of Gyuri and Youngji. She walked out of the campus secretly and drove her car back to Gyuri's house. Her mind was full of thoughts as she kept on replaying the scene what she saw earlier.

Gyuri came home late since she's personally bought a bucket of flowers for Jiyoung, she walked inside the house with a wide smile as she kept on calling her fiance's name.

"Baby Jing, i'm home"

 "Babe"

She got inside her room while searching for Jiyoung, her maid came in a hurry and gave her a letter. She sat on the edge of the bed and read the letter. 

Hi babe, sorry i didn't told you about my departure this morning, i forgot that i need to go back to Korea today since i have a lot of things to handle there. I'll make sure to call you when i reach home. Take care and good luck for your paper. 

Gyuri folded the paper back and laid down on the bed, she covered herself with blanket as she tried to sleep. The maid came and knocked on her door telling her that the dinner is ready but she's not answering. just refused to talk so she only covered herself more inside the warm blanket. 

It's been a week since she hadn't see her fiance, she's now in front of the room where the thesis defense will be held soon. She kept on looking at her watch and tried to breath slow since she's so nervous. Youngji who's standing beside her just rub her arm slow as she tried to calm Gyuri. 

"You ready unni?"

"More than ready, let's get in now"

"Let's go, and good luck for both of us"

"Youngji hwaiting"

"Gyuri unni hwaiting"

They both smiled at each other as they cheered one another, they stepped into the room with nervously. Youngji came out of the room after an hour since she's done early, she looked around and found someone stood while waving excitedly at her.

"Yah, Youngji ah"

"J...Jackson? Why are you here? I told you not to come here" 

"Yah, you're such a mean girl. What's wrong with me being here? Ah, i see. You're ashame that you date a person like me"

Jackson looked at her feeling upset when Youngji tried to hug him but he just hug himself in defence. 

"Don't you try to touch me"

"Aw, come on Jackson don't be mad. I'll buy you cheeseburger after this, how is it?"

"Promise?"

Jackson looked at Youngji with those puppy eyes made Youngji can't help but laugh. She showed her pinky finger so Jackson put his finger too on her as they made a promise. Youngji laughed when Jackson back to being silly boyfriend as usual, she was busy talking with Jackson when a hand tapped her shoulder so she looked around. 

"Uh, do you know Park Gyuri?"

"Huh? Ah, yeah i'm her friend. Who are you?"

"I'm her fiance"

"Eeh? Y...You are here? But...Gyuri unni said you won't come..."

"I lied actually. Oh, I'm Kang Jiyoung by the way"

"I'm Heo Youngji. Nice to meet you"

Jiyoung and Youngji giggled as they heard each other name.

"Youngji and Jiyoung, sound like a twins"

"I know right? What a coincidence"

"Jing? Why are you here?"

Jiyoung turned around and saw Gyuri frowned at her, she could sense that Gyuri looked upset. Jiyoung bowed to Youngji and Jackson after she bid her goodbye and took Gyuri to somewhere else. 

"You told me that you won't come here while we talked on the phone this morning"

"I'm sorry i lied"

"You lied? You freaking lied?"

Gyuri raised her voice as she started tear up, Jiyoung looked at her feeling guilty. She knew Gyuri really needed her since morning, she even begged her to come this morning but she lied that she couldn't come because of her job. 

"I can explain this"

"What else that you need to explain to me?"

"Babe, listen..."

"You're so cruel, i was so nervous all day today and you weren't here when i need you the most"

"I...."

"Is it fun to play with my feeling, Kang Jiyoung?"

Gyuri tried to pull out her ring but Jiyoung stopped her, she hug her tight. Gyuri tried to let go of her hug but Jiyoung hug her more. 

"Let me go"

"Just listen to me first, please"

"What else that i need to hear?"

"I prepared our wedding ceremony today...i...planned it since last week...actually.."

"You're, WHAT?! What are...."

"Let's get married today"

"Like right now? I mean...we need our parents to come"

"They're waiting for us on the church"

"What about my clothes?"

"We just need to come to the church and the people i hired will do the rest, the wedding dress and flowers, even the foods i've prepared, it all"

"What is this? I...I don't know how to react to this. Is this a joke?"

"I'm being serious here, let's get married okay?"

"But...."

Jiyoung looked at Gyuri deeply, she nod slow. Honestly she didn't expect this, she just followed Jiyoung to the elevator after Jiyoung talked to Youngji and asked her to bring her friends to come to her wedding party.  Youngji excitedly nod and tried to call her friends. 

"Why are you still crying? You're not happy?"

Jiyoung wrapped her arms on Gyuri's waist, she shook her head slowly and hug her tight. 

"It's just....too sudden...i'm just...too shocked...that's all"

"I love you, i know i'm not usually show how much i care for you but believe me you're always on my mind 24/7. I'm just not good at showing my feeling, i just hope you know...that i can only think of you all this time"

"I know, i love you too baby Jing"

"Next time, i won't allow you to cry again. I'll do my best to make you smile everyday for the rest of our life"

"A..are you proposing right now?"

"Shhh, can't you stop asking the obvious question"

Gyuri chuckled as she glanced at Jiyoung who looked as red as tomato. Gyuri hug her more as she felt excited to get into a new journey that await them later.

"I love you baby Jing, don't forget that"

"I..I know...geez, stop talking"

Jiyoung walked to the parking lot while holding on her fiance's hand tight, Gyuri couldn't help but to more by talking sweet.
