Jongup’s POV

When I arrived in front of my dorm after my outing with Ha Yi (yes I managed to come back to my dorm even if I was completely disoriented after her kiss!!), I plastered a normal expression on my face, not wanting them to question me in case they detected something strange on my face…like a foolish smile for example.

After that, I walked in the dorm. As soon as I crossed the threshold of our flat, I noticed that it was abnormally silent except for some whimpers. I immediately walked towards our living room to identify the source of the sound. When I reached the living, a very strange sight was awaiting me! Zelo was listening to his mp3 player while dancing (as usual), Daehyun was writing lyrics (as usual), Youngjae was reading a comic book (as usual) ……..but Himchan and Yongguk hyungs were definitely not in their usual state. They were both lying, Yongguk on the couch and Himchan on the carpet and they were both whimpering pitifully. Himchan was holding his nose, his nostrils oddly filled with absorbent cotton stained with blood and Yongguk was massaging his temples and looked visibly in pain. I looked at the scenery in front of me and my brain immediately started piecing things together! These dummies!!! I couldn’t believe they organized a new plan behind my back.

I cleared my throat to indicate my presence and everybody turned their attention towards me except for Zelo who was still dancing. Youngjae stood up, nudged him and so he removed his earpieces.

“Hey Jongup! Where were you? You didn’t tell us you were going somewhere tonight after the mall!” The giant asked innocently.

“Oh please! No need to act all innocent with me!” I glanced at him.

“You seem grumpy Jongupie! Did something happen at the mall? Or after?” Zelo continued to provoke me.

I decided to ignore him and turned my attention towards my two oldest hyungs.

“I hope I didn’t hit you too strongly! Hyung, your nose seems really weird now that I punched you right in the face. And you Yongguk Hyung, I HOPE I DON’T TALK TO LOUDLY! YOU SEEM LIKE YOU’RE HAVING A SEVERE HEADACHE.” I shouted just to take revenge.

Yongguk winced in pain while the others all looked at me with wide eyes. Did they really think I wouldn’t notice anything? I’m not that dumb!

“Don’t get angry! We did it for you and Ha Yi. Himchan and Yongguk even accepted to beaten up just for you!” Daehyun tried to explain.

“We didn’t accept to be beaten up by Jongup! You just didn’t tell us that he was almost a professional fighter.” Himchan protested with a nasally voice.

“Okay okay we’re sorry for you Himchan and Yongguk but I’m sure that our plan worked considering the fact that Jongup just came back home exactly four hours after the moment we left him in that park with Ha Yi!” Daehyun argued.

“I thought you agreed to inform me before coming up with a strategy involving me and her.” I cocked an eyebrow, ignoring Daehyun’s previous remark.

“Of course we agreed but then we thought about it and decided that it was stupid to inform you beforehand. You’re way more natural if you don’t know. I’m sure you wouldn’t have hit Yongguk and Himchan so strongly if you knew that it was them. But since you ignored that it was a plan, you just beat the crap out of them very naturally.” Youngjae explained half laughing half serious.

“Hey!!! I think Jongup made a point. We should have told him about Zelo’s plan because if he had known we were the persons attacking Ha Yi, he wouldn’t have used all his strength to defend his girl…..who was not really in danger.” Yongguk managed to talk despite his headache.

“Stooooop! Let me ask a question and then we’ll decide!” Zelo announced. “So Jongup, where were you? You were with her, weren’t you?”

I nodded.

“More details please!” Zelo asked once again.

“Do you know what privacy means?”

“Oh please! You could at least tell us if my ….our plan worked?” Zelo gave me a pleading look.

“Okayyy it worked!” I sighed. “After the park, I brought her to our coffee shop, we talked while eating almoni’s delicious pastries and then I walked her home.”

After my little confession, they all clapped loudly and whistled. Even Himchan and Yongguk managed to forget their pain momentarily to participate to this loud celebration. To avoid their crazy antics, I left them and locked myself in the bathroom!

Aish these guys! I don’t know if I should thank them or beat them once again.

Lee Hi’s POV

 I was at the gym, exercising while listening to music when someone interrupted me hitting my shoulder lightly.

“Hi Ha Yi!!” Dara Unni said enthusiastically with her signature bright smile.

“Hi Unni!” I said, removing my earpieces.

“Do you mind if I exercise with you?” She asked.

Even if she was a sunbae in this agency, she was always so careful and so polite with everyone.

“No no, I don’t mind. You can stay of course.”

“Cool! But as you already know, I love talking when I’m doing sports so be prepared.” Dara laughed.

I laughed as well, feeling this usual comfortable sensation when I was with her, as if she was my older sister.

“So how do you feel these days? Your schedule must be more comfortable now that you ended your promotion for “Rose”. Talking about “Rose”, I don’t know if I congratulated you for your successful round of promotion with this song. You did really great. We’re all very proud of you at YG.” She smiled at me.

“Thanks Unni! You’re so nice with me. Okay so I’ll try to answer to your questions one by one. I feel great these days. You’re right when you say that my schedule is more comfortable. I just have some voice training every now and then and yesterday, I filmed a commercial. But my schedule allows me to attend school these days so that’s really cool. I loved studying before I started my singing career and so I want to continue my education. I’m too young to stop school.” I explained.

“I understand. The idol life is very demanding and you have to abandon so many things to realize your dream so I’m glad if you can keep on doing the things you like.” Dara said seriously.

I could see in her eyes that she also experienced lot of hardships when she debuted with 2NE1. We both stayed silent during few seconds and during this time, the background music changed and “Torn” started playing.

“Oh I love that song of yours but I still can’t believe YG accepted this collaboration with an idol from another agency. So unusual of him!! Anyway, Daehyun’s voice and yours blended so perfectly in this song. And your stages with Daehyun and Jongup were beyond perfect. The 2NE1 members and I never missed one of your stages and we couldn’t help but spazz at your chemistry with Jongup.” She confided.

At the mention of his name, I couldn’t help the blood from rushing to my cheeks. Dara gave me a surprised look when she noticed my flushed face.

“Hey girls! What are you talking about? Can I join you?” Minzy suddenly appeared out of nowhere, distracting her Unni momentarily.

“Minzy-ah, perfect timing! We were talking about “Torn” and about Ha Yi’s special stages with Jongup and Daehyun but I noticed something very suspicious.” Dara explained to her junior.

I could already feel that I was doomed.

“Suspicious? Tell me more!” Minzy asked her Unni while starting running on the treadmill next to mine.

“So we were talking about Ha Yi’s collaboration with the BAP guys but when I pronounced a particular name, she blushed heavily.” Dara started.

“Oh so cute!! Who are you crushing on Ha Yi?? Tell me!! Tell me please!” Minzy turned her attention towards me with a puppy look.

“Minzy-ah, she reminds me of you when you couldn’t help but blush when we were talking about Taemin! Fortunately you don’t blush anymore. That would be very embarrassing now that he is your boyfriend.” Dara winked at her maknae.

I almost tripped, not believing what I just heard.

“You-you’re dating Taemin? The Taemin from SHINee?” I stuttered.

“Yes! It’s a secret but I’m sure you can keep a secret!” She placed a finger on her lips.

“Ye-yeah of course.” I struggled to talk, still shocked by the revelation.

“Don’t be so shocked! The SHINee members have a singular charm which is difficult to resist, don’t you think Unni?” Minzy playfully teased Sandara.

It was now Dara’s turn to stumble on the treadmill but she managed to regain her balance.

“Ye-yes I guess!” She tried to avoid Minzy’s eyes.

“Oh so you don’t mind revealing my secret but you don’t want to reveal yours. I see!” She said aloud before adding something. “She’s dating Minho!” She finally whispered to me.

I coughed at this second sudden revelation.

“Gosh, I didn’t know you were allowed to date …. And I couldn’t imagine you could date idols from another agency!” I whispered, not wanting to attract attention from the other people present at the gym.

Dara and Minzy laughed.

“I had to wait the end of my dating ban to date Minho!!! So freaking annoying!” Dara replied more seriously.

“How did it start?” I asked, curious to know more.

Dara considered my question during few seconds before answering.

“I don’t really know! When he debuted with SHINEE, I wasn’t a 2NE1 member at that time. I didn’t pay much attention to this new group because the members looked very childish to me. Then we debuted and I saw him on music programs or on variety programs and noticed that he grew up handsomely. He wasn’t that cute kid who sang his love for noonas anymore but he looked like a real protective man. Little by little and without noticing, I fell for him even if I didn’t know him personally. I loved him from afar until that precious day when I filmed a CF with him for “Etude House”! We had to film a romantic commercial for that cosmetic brand and so we had to be very closed for some scenes. I thought that he was a really great actor because he really seemed to care for me when we were filming. But later that day, before I left the filming set, he confessed to me. That was probably the happiest day of my life. But as I said, we had to wait for the end of YG dating ban before becoming a couple.”

“Wow that sounds so romantic!” I exclaimed, amazed by Dara’s story. “And what about you Minzy?”

“Hey little girl!! Don’t you think you should tell us something about either Jongup or Daehyun? Because you’re definitely crushing on one of them, aren’t you? If you tell us, I’ll reveal how Taemin and I started dating.” Minzy proposed an agreement.

I thought about her proposition. I really wanted to keep my secret but not as much as I wanted to know Minzy’s story.

“Okay I’ll tell you!” I gave up. “It’s definitely not Daehyun who I consider as an older brother……… It’s Jongup!” I finally revealed the identity of my crush. “He’s like the sweetest and most handsome guy ever. I first met him on music programs and he immediately caught my attention!”

“Wow love at first sight!!! Daebak!!” Dara interrupted me a bit too loudly. “Sorry! Continue!” She whispered.

“At first I was just intrigued He looked shy, discrete and handsome of course. After one of my first stages, Ha Na, one of my back up dancers confided me something very important: Jongup said in a radio program that amongst all the artists, I was the one who caught his attention. This information made something clicked in my mind and I started paying more attention to BAP and to Jongup specially. Like you said with Minho, I saw him multiple times on music programs and year-end events. One day, he even came to my high school ……but it was to meet Zelo! Then, I met him when I attended their concert. I fainted at the end of the concert and he came to check if I was okay. Of course, I met him several times for the promotion of “Torn”. He saved me once while people were trying to rob me …….and we almost kissed.” I exposed everything, looking straight in front of me.

As I didn’t hear any reaction, I looked to my left and found a dumbfounded Minzy so I checked to my right and …..Dara was in the same state, with agape and round eyes.

“Oh my god!!! I knew your chemistry during the “Torn” stage performance couldn’t be feigned. Daebak!!!” Dara reacted first.

“You’re right Unni!! It was obvious they were not acting at all!!” Minzy squealed.

“Wait wait wait!!! It’s true that I didn’t act when I was with him but that’s all! How can you tell that he wasn’t acting?” I asked them.

“Are you kidding us? That’s obvious your feelings are reciprocal! I don’t believe even one second that he came to your high school just to see Zelo! He obviously came to see you! Don’t be naïve! Then, he came at the end of the concert to see you. I think he just did it because he knew it was you! He wouldn’t have done so if it was a regular fan who fainted! As for your “Torn” stages, we could feel your emotions flowing through the screen! Your emotions as well as his emotions looked so sincere. And the almost kiss is the strongest sign of your love for each other! Did you initiated it or was it him?” Dara explained her point of view.

“………..He did it!” I confessed shyly.

“OOOOOOkay!! Congrats Ha Yi!! He is definitely crushing on you!!! I’m so happy for you.” Minzy looked at me, a wide smile spread on her face.

“A-are you sure?” I said with a shaking voice.

“Sure!!! 100% sure!!! All the signs are here!!! He cares for you, he feels the need to protect you, the need to see you and he wanted to kiss you!! There’s no doubt!” Dara completed her analysis.

I got goosebumps at her tirade and I could feel tears forming in my eyes. I stopped the treadmill and started wiping my tears.

Dara and Minzy immediately stopped their treadmills as well and hugged me warmly.

“Oh my cutie pie!! Don’t cry!” Dara Unnie whispered.

“It’s just that I’m happy! I thought my crush would be one-sided as usual but now I know that this time it’s different.” I said between my sobs.

“SSSssh! Calm down!” Minzy my hair.

After I stopped crying, the three of us went to YG’s cafeteria and Minzy finally told us her story.

“So contrary to Dara, I immediately crushed on Taemin as soon as I watched the “Replay” mv for the first time. I knew he was almost my age, he is an amazing dancer and he was so cute!! When we finally debuted as 2NE1, I was so excited because I knew that I would be able to meet him. Usually, like you two, I saw him from afar but I once had a chance to become closer with him! For an Halloween special, I collaborated with him and other boy group members for a choreography. We were always the last ones to left the rehearsing studio and we would talk about our respective experience in YG and SM. He told me that he was following me since my debut and I confessed that I did the same with him. We stayed in contact after that and communicated through texts. Since I’m not the type to shy away, I gathered my courage one day and I confessed. I didn’t know if it was reciprocal but I had the confidence that all the signs of interest he showed me were sincere. I was right because as soon as I confessed, he kissed me passionately! That’s probably the best way you can imagine to reply to a love confession, don’t you think? After that we started dating…..in secret of course! I don’t want to be crushed by his fangirls.”

“That’s a beautiful story Unni! I hope mine will end like that too!” I smiled, very happy for Minzy and Dara!

“We’re sure it will!” Dara and Minzy said in chorus!

I’m back again with a new chapter! I worked on it during all the afternoon so I hope you’ll like it ^^ Once again, I got the idea on the highway!! Consequently, I guess driving is my inspirational source LOL

For this chapter, Ha Yi and Jongup aren’t with each other because I wanted to focus on Ha Yi and her interactions with the YG family! I hope you’ll still appreciate this chapter even if it’s less lovey dovey than some others ^^

And sorry for including Mindara and Taeminzy in this chapter!! It’s just that I ship these two pairings so I wanted to use them there!!
