Okay, okay, that was an exaggeration.

But I’m pretty. I know I am.

My eye smile is a killer!

And … I’m nice too.

Tiffany tried to cheer herself; she needed a breath of confidence in her body. It’s been 30 minutes since she arrived in this café. She sat near the windowsill, waiting for a certain girl. It’s been five years; this is what she’s been waiting for- what she spent her waking days to look forward to. She wanted to meet her. She wanted to know so much about her savior and it’s going to happen now. She’s finally meeting the person who can help her achieve her goal.

She took a deep breath and held her chest, delicately tracing the suture line that decorated it.

“Excuse me, Ms. Tiffany Hwang?” a girl asked with proper English intonation.

Tiffany bolted out of her dreamy expression and stared in complete awe at the goddess-like figure in front of her.  It’s very unusual to have English-speaking people around this part of the town.

This girl must be her, the one from the states, the one I’ve been waiting for.

Tiffany continued to gawk at the young skinny lady, probably around her early twe
